    This location literally takes one order at a time in the drive thru. Last time I went was 7 months ago and the exact same issue. I sent an email to corporate and never received a comment back. Just tonight we figured to give them another chance. What a mistake. The one order at a time was still in place (see pictures) and the food was so over cooked my wife had to throw away her plate deciding to eat soup instead…. Considering corporate never got back to me in the past I’ll be disputing my credit card charge and won’t be coming back. I’ve tried in the past to provide good faith feedback and clearly corporate or the local location doesn’t care. So why anyone would continue to buy from this location is beyond me……

    Great food but UNACCEPTABLE wait times. I waited 40 minutes for food. On a 30 minute lunch break. Staff doesn't care. They look miserable from being overworked and understaffed. Whoever ows this franchise should be ashamed of themselves.

    Love Panda Express but this location is the absolute worst of all of the locations. Their food is well below the quality of any other Panda Express I’ve been too. The service is mediocre at best. And the hours always change. If they want to close early they close early, and don’t think it has anything to do with not enough customers cause there was a line of cars waiting in the drive through and they just came out and hung up a sign saying they were closing early. Whoever runs this location should be let go and get someone better.

    Second time I have come during regular hours at 7:00pm to enjoy a nice dinner with my son and the inside is locked they write a sign up saying Lobby closed. drive thru only..?? Absolutely horrible service.

    Tried to go to the Round Lake, IL location on more than one occasion. This location seems to always have had "a late start". This place needs better management as they never open on time or have food available. Always 15-30min wait for anything you order.

    I tried the Sizzling Shrimp for supper tonight. the dish was nothing like the picture on their menu sign. There were maybe five shrimp in the plate size. They also charged me $2.50 plus tax for a glass of water. Outrageous because pop was probably less expensive. I can't drink pop because my kidneys are not good any more. I also didn't get plum sauce for the rangoons.

    I ordered fried rice and chow mein, on the website the rice looked good so I ordered three L boxes and one chow mein, worst rice ever, looked like mashed potatoes, over cooked, no flavor, and with an old food taste, and the chow mein was dry and no flavor, ended up making my self an instant Maruchan which was much better, very disappointing!!!

    I payed $1.50 extra for my angus steak, instead of got stems and the majority of the broccoli steak was just broccoli, I think the service should be better for tue amount of money that we paid for the food . But I still love the place

    I cannot for the life of me understand how a restaurant can consistently run out of food several hours before close. It’s an incredible feat of incompetence and greed on the part of the owners that they are unable to keep the store properly stocked and staffed. I have never had an issue with service, but this is without a doubt the worst location I’ve ever gone to. Take the extra 15 minutes to drive to Gurnee and save yourself the headache.

    I came here before they opened. They opened at 11. I gave them time until 11:11AM and went through the drive thru. They tell me “We have nothing. It’s going to be 30-45 minutes until any of the food is ready.” Well then why do your hours say you’re open at 11 when you’re not gonna have any food until 12? That’s asinine. And it’s aggravating to someone sitting in the parking lot WAITING for you to open. I work with food. You schedule people earlier so the food is ready when your store opens? I don’t get how this is an almost daily occurrence for this location. Then another time I asked for sweet and sour and a young girl says we don’t have any and gives me plum sauce. Her coworker then says “Yes we do. we have sweet & sour it’s over here.” Shows her where it’s at. Rude girl gives me MORE plum sauce, then proceeds to roll her eyes when I tell her she gave me the wrong sauce. She Then says “Oh my god”, slaps her palms on the metal serving windows, and shakes her head when I ask for soy sauce, walking away before I even start the word “soy”. I’ve worked in retail/food service my whole life and customers are unthankful 85% of the time, but this girl just didn’t care and she was super rude. So yeah this location isn’t as good as pretty much any other location nearby.

    This store is CONSTANTLY running out of food. They ignore in-store customers in favor of the drive thru making the in-store people having to wait for more food to be cooked. They don't even acknowledge customers are waiting. They are rude and unfriendly. This happened the last 3 times I went there. They also put part of the order in a container waiting for the rest of the food to be cooked. The food in the container gets COLD. It was truly a terrible experience.

    Girls are working as fast they can, but still very slow delivery average is 20 minutes wait time. Can increase man power during busy hours, it may bring more business and good reputation. Doordash and uber eats driving’s are avoiding this restaurant due to very slow delivery. Towards food quality and quantity are perfect.

    Went 3 days in a row around 4:30 wanting to get 2 large teriyaki chicken and each time it was not ready. The first day I was told a 25 minute wait. The next day I was told that it was still frozen and not ready. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that he was not there. Day 1 and 2 took place in the drive-thru. The 3rd day I went inside to speak to the manager and he really didn't care and told me that they run out of it all the time. I then asked that if this was the case maybe it should be something to focus on, increase the cooking of this product. He did not care. It's also ironic that while I was speaking to him, around 4:30, he told me they were out again. Ding. Ding, Ding. Plan accordingly. Increase production. When I asked for the owners name and number he would not give it to me. I even suggested that he call and I would talk to them and I would not have the phone number. Instead he gave me the corporate number of which I did call and that person seemed concerned. I was told that the area supervisor would call me and they never did. Terrible customer service with a side of THEY do not care!! I would give 0 stars but the app. will not allow it.

    Don’t waste your time ordering online. They won’t start making your order until you come in and ask for it. Even tried coming in 15 min after the order ready time and they still hadn’t started it. Then had to wait another 10 for them to make it.

    Avoid this place at all costs....In the past i used to rely on them for getting something good on my daysoff from work....but not anymore forget it....everytime i go there they have a line going out the parking lot ...onetime after waiting 30 mins inline they managed to screw up my order....! i orderded a simple small order of honey walnut shrimp "on the side" and got cold spicy shrimp wasnt even fresh looked very old and soggy....!!!....The place seems very old and outdated in general. Today just about cut for me Im not going back...They ran out of food and told the drive threw they had tp go inside to order!!!!??? and the last time before that had cold noodles??? Seriously whos running the sht show at this place???!!! This place should close its doors honestly. And another thing if you are going to try and make up for mistakes have legit cash coupons not ones you have to sign up for....✌️

    Food and employees are good, but it’s getting frustrated that the lobby is closed 9/10 times. I understand being short staffed but it’s closed so much. It’s kind of difficult if you want to sit and eat or if your car window won’t go down

    says it closes at 9:30 pm but currently in the parking lot at 7:35 the lights in the seating area are off, the drive through has orange cones blocking it and no one is answering the phone but there are people in the kitchen and the kitchen has its lights on.

    I stopped by today and they had the drive thru closed didn’t know till walking inside and there was only 3 workers. Poor kids were short staffed and they had a line of ppl but they handled it so well... then a 3rd worker came in which was good. But I gotta say those 3kids need a good raise!!!

    This place is nasty the staff touching food with bare hands while touching their cell phone. Another guy playing with his hair by the food and not washing his hands before trying to fill food boxes. I am surprised no one has salmonella. After seeing all of unsanitary the staff is my family was disgusted and left.

    Very clean inside, fast service. We ordered with the app and for pick up, and ended up eating there. Food was very fresh and hot. One thing we did notice was there were no prices on the menu on the inside and a few customers had to ask.

    This location never has food. Ever. Their drive thru is long! This seems to be the only location in Lake County that has supply chain issues. Everyone else has all options. I think the staff simply don’t want to make food because they are always understaffed and have been since before Covid. This has been an issue for years!

    It’s really a -5 ⭐️ establishment. Ordered for delivery..after an hour plus called only to be told they didn’t make our order because they ran out of one of the options we chose. No call and they were unable to cancel our order because they had no manager on duty and no one there knew what to do. This place is seriously the worst! Have to drive there to get my money back and it’s not close but there is no way I’m allowing this place to steal from me!

    We have gone a few times, each time the experience was terrible. They are always out of food and they messed up the order each time or forgot to give us an item. This isn’t Starbucks you really can’t make an order complicated . I recommend checking your order before you drive away or leave the building. They will not be getting a dime for us anymore that’s for sure!

    I ordered 2 bigger plates and 1 plate. They gave us 3 plates and did not give us a single big plate. They are horrible at taking orders through the drive thru. Everyone in that panda should be getting payed 12$ or less and if they can’t listen to a simple order they should also be fired. Absolutely garbage for charging me for bigger plates and giving us plates.

    I really like going here but they are always low on the Teriyaki chicken. I have to wait for them to make more. If we have to wait, give a free drink! The staff is friendly but have better customer service.

    Went there New Years day. Online said it was open. Was in line for 20 in from 11:15 to 11:35am. Nothing. Saw a couple of workers going in and out and not one said anything! If the time was incorrect and you see a line of 6 cars waiting maybe Don't let us just sit there as there is no way to leave the line for those waiting behind the first car. Rude,inconsiderate and unprofessional.

    I don't visit this location a lot, but when I do, they are always out of certain items. Quality of the food is usually okay, but quantity you receive is always variable. Order accuracy and missing items seem to be a real struggle for this location. Just be sure to check your bag before driving away. Staff are generally nice and friendly.

    Went through the drive Thur and needed to place 2 order, something we have done there many times before. We're told we couldn't place two orders in one car and that we would have to drive around for the second order. They were not even busy (2 cars behine us and no one inside) but the fact that they could not even just take the order was bs. We've never had an issue before. We would have gone in but our toddler was sleep in the car and the whole point of drive thru is for convince. Didn't even pay for the first order just left.

    this panda express is terrible and it has even worse customer service.     Worst place ever!!! Come in 30 mins after they opened and they only have one side and 2 entrees available, also said it would be another 30 mins atleast before they had anything else available. And then gave me the excuse that they just opened that’s why! Lol common since says you prep the food and have it ready before you open! So you know you have something to sell to the patrons! And what’s sad is it seems like management and corporate do t care at all cause I see sooooo many complaints on here about this place and nothing g is being done! So sad! I will never ship here again and will drive to Gurnee if I want panda.

    Love their food, but I think some of the employees take advantage of the fact that everything is togo. My last visit I ordered a family feast, all 5 boxs were only 3/4 of the way full. Meaning, I basically got gipped a whole box of food plus some. Just saying, we expect them to fill the boxes full. So, awesome food, just make sure they actually fill the order 100%.

    Never had a problem until last night. Went and ordered 2 plates. One was chowmain and double orange chicken. The other was half fried rice, half chowmain and double orange chicken. Everything tasted terrible. The orange chicken tasted extremely bland like they missed half the seasonings they usually put in there. Fried rice was under cooked and the chow main was flavorless. I have been going to panda express for 10 years and have always loved it. This time it tasted like CHEAP Chinese buffet food. I was starving and it tasted so bad I couldn't even eat half of it. When when I go and call to explain this issue the store manager could only offer me a WHOLE 10% off... I always thought panda had standards and recipes to follow by. I guess not. Absolutely terrible food.
