Had a watch battery replaced. They were very quick (couple of minutes) and for a reasonable price. Would recommend

Decided to buy a necklace from them, 21 g silver, sold for 140£ at the time i thought is a great deal as pawn shops usually have lower prices and i guided myself based on that, I did not thought to check the retail on a similar item. After going home i researched how much such pieces would cost brand new, and to my surprise new silver necklace is considerably cheaper than what they sold me 2nd hand. In my experience they don't have fair prices for a pawn shop, I would advise to look online before buying anything of them.

I’m leaving this review to thank Ross very much for the wonderful ring he has made for me. A little background: When my Father passed away he left some gold jewellery and it took me quite a while to decide what to do with it. Once I decided to have a ring made I went into the Bexleyheath branch and saw Russ with a design. Apart from the gold I wanted to incorporate the diamond from my Mothers engagement ring. Had a diamond pendant made by Russ from a picture that I had. I was sent photos and a video of the making of the pendant. I picked it up today, it is beautiful and surpassed my expectations! I have been dealing with Blackwell Jewellers in Bexleyheath for some time now either buying or having redesigned or repairs done to my jewellery. This is always my first port of call as I know I can trust this jewellers to do a good job. The advice to what can be achieved using all of their skills is second to none. They are very professional and are not satisfied with their repairs/ redesigns if you are not. Such is the pride in their work. Recently I have had 3 redesigned of my jewellery done by Russell. All brilliantly done and now very wearable pendents. All at a reasonable price plus using James discount incentive voucher. Also sold a lot of scrap gold and I couldn’t get a fairer, higher price than Blackwells jewellers. I recommend for any of your jewellery needs or repairs/designs you try these guys first. Xx is

I have gone to Blackwells 3 times this year for jewellery repairs - a broken chain, a new necklace clasp, and supplying and fitting a new diamond for my nan's engagement ring. Every repair has been excellent, at a reasonable price, and the staff are always very helpful. I am thrilled to bits with the ring, it means more than I can put into words. I also sold some obsolete jewellery, and the transaction was handled with dignity and kindness, which was very much appreciated. Thank you very much Blackwells.

We used Blackwells to enquire about some inherited rings which they restored, cleaned and valued to an excellent standard. They combined some other sentimental pieces by melting and designing two complimentary rings. The consultation and design process was very professional but practical. The finished items exceeded our expectations. We found their assessments very favourable and they really listened and understood our wish to somehow combine sentimental pieces into pieces we can wear and remind us of loved ones.
