Booked a table of 12 for a Christmas celebration and had a wonderful time! The staff could not have been more attentive, constantly keeping us topped up with drinks and condiments. Lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious, would definitely return and heartily recommend :) Thanks for having us

The food was really well cooked & very enjoyable. Thee cheesecake was extremely enjoyable. The staff were polite & accommodating. I will be eating here again & would definitely recommend it.

We had a lamb Sunday roast this weekend and it was absolutely beautiful, a large portion. And the staff are amazing.

The shilton Arms staff were so pleasant and very nice ,social distancing was good and the food was lovely, we will be going back to that country pub

Great place to visit on a sunny day as they have a small outdoor seating area and nice staff. The food is good, but slightly over priced. There could be more vegetarian options for non-meat eaters. Great place to go if your into Sunday roasts.

Turned up on spec with a party of 6. Luckily it was quiet. Only one person front of house but he was extremely patient and friendly. Going again tomorrow with my husband. I had the veggie curry amazing everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend

Lovely cosy pub with so much choice on the menu. We will hopefully be back in a few months when we are back in the area for a seminar

Fantastic food the place was very quiet due to the world cup being on but they then told us they were closing at 9:30 which I could understand why. They could have told us that when we booked the table. But the food was amazing

Got a puncture on my bike outside the pub on one of the coldest days of the year. I popped myself just inside the door and got myself all set. No grumbles from the staff and all very friendly. A lovely way to treat me in my 20mins of need - not all places would be so accommodating. Really appreciated, thank you!

Best Sunday lunch we've had anywhere in a long time. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef! Table service was great to and staff polite and attentive. Atmosphere was good but a little loud for us with music and people combined but it won't stop us from eating here again. Highly recommended! H & D Smith

Great food and superb service!

Sunday lunch was pretty good, with a good size plate, nice Yorkshires and tasty meat. The roast potatoes didn't quite hit the spot and they had a number of beer taps unavailable at the time. The sticky toffee pudding & crumble are the way to go for dessert; the Christmas pudding portion is comically small, the sticky toffee pudding is at least 4x the size. The beer garden area looks pretty exciting, but we didn't spend any time out there during this visit. It's a nice little spot for lunch, great service and plenty of people about, would certainly give it another shot!

Went to The Shilton Arms on a Thursday when they opened at noon. I brought my brother who lives in the states and he couldn't believe the variety of food on the menu. The service was fantastic and the food was so filling we didn't have room for dessert! (We did have have coffees and Cappuccinos) We were there about an hour and a quarter, and by the time we left the place was filling up quickly. I definitely recommend eating here! And call in advance would be a good idea.

Lovely food and attentive service. Staff are very open to modifying their menu (within reason!) to sit suit the preferences of their diners.

We’ve eaten here for years, the food is always perfect and the staff are so kind and friendly. I couldn’t start recommending meals, they’re all so good! Great quality and a lovely evening out. Also a shoutout to the music because it’s always awesome, but especially at Christmas!

Stopped off on a journey and had a fabulous meal. The service was very friendly and attentive, there's a massive choice on the menu and our food was delicious. Portions are huge, so choose wisely!

Superb freshly cooked meals in a lovely chilled and friendly atmosphere. Best to book in advance as quite busy most evenings.

Very good local pub. Homely feel inside, aided by very friendly and helpful staff. The food was also very tasty (the cheese sauce with the steak was amazing in particular) and filling and the steak was done perfectly. There is also a good selection of drinks and specials.

Was there on Saturday 31st July can’t fault it everything was perfect from the friendliness of the staff the atmosphere and the delicious food. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to family and friends.

Nice quant pub. Well priced beer. Very rowdy patrons tho even quite early in the day
