I ate here today for the first time and it was the best breakfast I've had in a while. The food was delicious and the service was great!

First time, great place. Lives up to the great reviews I've seen. Great food and service. Gravy on the biscuit was actually cool, but brought me a fresh one with hot gravy right away! Glad we had to drive by it so we could stop. Will definitely be back!

The sign said, “Please wait to be seated”. I patiently stood inside the front door for more than 5 minutes before asking if they were closed. The reply was, “no why”? I said that I was patiently waiting to be seated and the young lady looked confusingly at the sign that was posted that said, “Please wait to be seated” and told me to sit anywhere. I sat at the bar on a stool for single eaters and the wait staff walked by and worked behind the counter for more than 5 minutes again, stocking up, and wiping down. The customer next to me said, “I think they’re ignoring you”. I said, “it sure seems that way”. I finally asked for a menu and then the service began. The meal was tasty but average at best. I had “homemade meatloaf”. I constantly had to ask for refill on my water and my glass of milk. The whole meal was only $25, so that was nice. I wouldn’t do “The spot” again. Something seemed off and this time, I am certain it wasn’t me.

When you think of a diner, you think of comfort, food, friendly waitresses, and a clean environment. You get all of those here along with free parking and seafood to go along with any meal you choose. We had a salad with green fried tomatoes and a side of shrimp and fresh catch of the day fish. It was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

The Spot Cafe is our favorite Go-To for a solid Southern breakfast out in that they serve the classics, providing a filling and favorable to our pocketbooks, an affordable meal that feels like a splurge! Breakfast is served ALL DAY on Saturday & Sunday and they just recently opened back up on Tuesday, so now they are Open 7 Days a Week! There are so many establishments that close on Sundays, so I'm happy that we can patronize this lil' local gem, whose Staff, though slammed in today's breakfast/lunch service, worked efficiently like a well-oiled machine to work through all of the many orders to get everyone fed! Recently, we attended a local Event where The Spot Cafe was the Caterer (Yes, they Cater, too!!!) Check out the spread they provided! The holidays are coming up and we're going to hit the Easy button and I suggest you to do the same, and hire The Spot Cafe to Cater your Family/Office Holiday Parties for you, to keep you out of the kitchen and be able to enjoy your party/event with No Worries!!!

Breakfast was delicious. The French toast was so good. The serving sizes are generous. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive and so pleasant. Will definitely come again next time we are up this way.

We went here for breakfast. Nice local spot. The food was delicious and service was fast. Staff is friendly. The place was very clean. Prices are reasonable, spent under $20 for 2 plates and 2 beverages. It is self seating - inside, at the counter, or outside. We live close by and will be going back often. Update: I went back here for the first time in a while on a saturday in may. It wasn't terribly busy but the restaurant was dirty and the silverware was really disgusting. I noticed there were several new servers, besides 2 regular ladies that have been there for a while. We got one of the new servers. She was horrible. Never stopped by the table and asked how the food was, never refilled my drink, and told me about an upcharge she put on the tab as she threw it on the table. Really disappointed! I don't think we are coming back here for a while.

I stop at the spot today. Perfect customer service all the time. I ordered The Southern Comfort with Dantil Pepper Sausage. This has to be the best breakfast in the area! I cannot imagine ordering anything else!

The spot is an exceptional hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I invited two friends who had never been there before, and we found a cozy corner to sit down. The service was outstanding, with smiling staff members, and the food was absolutely delicious. The three-cheese omelette and Mr. V hash skillet were both ordered by my friends, and they couldn't stop raving about them. Admittedly, the decor could use some improvement, but we were primarily there for the food, which is why we chose this hidden gem. I would definitely go again.

Stopped by for breakfast (try to always shop local). I had the Kat's on a roll and it was fantastic! If we were local, this would be a regular place to visit! If you are passing through and this is a little out of your way, it is well worth the trip adjustment. Great staff, environment, and prices.

It was hard to choose what to eat, so many good options. Staff was very friendly. Coffee was kept full. I will be back. French toast is off the chain!

The breakfast we had wasn't bad, but it was more like McDonald's than a Diner. Waitress was super friendly.

The spot cafe is the place to be. Their breakfast is perfect and coffee is great. Get there early because they do get filled up and you'll have to wait. Their pancakes are delicious and HUGE

The food was delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice place for breakfast and lunch. The one thing I could say they could work on is getting a little faster on taking our order and then giving our bill to us after we were finished. Maybe our waitress was just a little busy, but we noticed other people that were seated after us that had their order taken before we did. And we had to ask for our bill twice after we were finished. That being said, this place is a fantastic place to eat and I will definitely be back!

I have no idea where the 5 star reviews come from but here is my story. My wife and I decided to give this restaurant a try so we went one day in the early afternoon. We waited for about 15 minutes before being provided menu's and water. Another 10 minutes and a nice young lady took our order. 30 minutes later I asked about our order and was told that our "nice young lady" had become busy in the kitchen and forgot to give the order to the cooks. Soon she came to the table with a small tray with mini cupcakes on it and asked if we wanted them. I honestly responded no, I would rather have the lunch that I ordered. Finally our order came and as we were finishing she returned with a slice of pie. Never did she admit her mistake or offer a apology of any sort. We left no tip and when we got to the register the lady obviously knew about our experience. She did apologize but I countered by saying "I am sure you can understand my frustration" which she acknowledged. As I was headed out she reminded me of the 10% reduction on my check for the problems. Never going back and still do not get the 5 stars.

Good comfort food served slowly at busy times. Not a complaint, setting expectations. The food was worth the wait and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of food well seasoned and prepared. Biscuits and gravy are very tasty, not to salty with a good sausage taste.

My family and I had brunch on a Sunday morning at The Spot Cafe while we were visiting St. Augustine and had a great experience! Our server was extremely kind and attentive. They were very accommodating with our service dog and sat us at a fairly private corner table outside. The chicken and waffles were delicious, and everything was fair priced and came to our table quickly. Best part was that every other brunch spot in town had at least a 45 minute wait and we were sat as soon as we arrived! Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

A nice breakfast at a decent price. Pretty standard in terms of taste. My partner had The Southerner breakfast with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and home fries. He enjoyed it. I had one of the breakfast specials - avocado toast with eggs and fruit. It was okay. Coffee was good.

So yum! We moved in just down the street while our house was being built. We stopped in one day just for a quick bite. We were pleasantly surprised by the large menu and the affordable pricing. The servings are large and the food is cooked to perfection. We have come to love this little Cafe.

Forgot to take pictures 😅 but drove to the spot from Daytona today! Got stuck in a flash flood on the way, our car caught part of a falling tree, usual Florida fun. And we made it! SO FRESH. Service was fantastic! Best omelette I've had in my life! Datil berry butter was fantastic! My fiance and I have agreed that the usual 45 minutes drive that took us two and a half hours today was WELL worth it. We will be returning! If you go, PLEASE tip those girls extra, they are working their butts off and so sweet!

Great selection and nice place for lunch. I have not had breakfast there but I am guessing it would be just as good. I had Shepherd's pie and it was very good! Good service as well.

This hidden gem is an amazing local spot that has delicious food!! We went for breakfast and all tried different things, and everyone loved every bite! The service was great too, and it's a nice atmosphere. When a place gets packed in a matter of minutes, you know it's gotta be good, and this place is amazing! We will definitely be returning as often as we can afford to!

Great little breakfast/lunch place. Service was fast and attentive. They close in the afternoon so its only for breakfast and lunch. I had the 3egg greek omelette. It was def 3 egg, at least. I think some "3 egg omelettes" arent really 3 eggs. My bf had 3 thick, huge pieces of great french toast. Very tasty! We broke brought our 3 well behaved little dogs. We sat on the patio. We got the dogs in, by handing them over the railing, no gate to the outside patio. All in all, a great little dog friendly place to eat!

Nice little breakfast spot. Servers were nice and friendly, food was great. I tried the meat lovers skillet that had a little bit of everything in it. Definitely try this place out for breakfast if you visit St. Augustine..

Food is delicious, the service is excellent, and my favorite dishes are the house potatoes, the eggs Benedict, and the omelettes.

Very good. Was recommended to us by the waitress from a dinner restaurant near Vilano Beach. She was right. Also, a lady & two young boys were seated near us. The boys wanted hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. The waitress brought them their drink & like most kids they ate the whipped creme first. When they asked for more the waitress didn't hesitate to get them more, bringing the whole can to their table to make sure they got all they wanted. That simple kind act made those kids so happy. It was heart-warming to watch.

Loved it! Took my wife on Sunday. She wanted breakfast but we slept in so I called and on Sundays they serve breakfast all day. This made my wife very happy. The food was awesome and the staff helped eachother seamlessly. Overall a great experience.
