The food is great but little expensive and the pictures on wall are worst. That is not real india. India is beautiful i dnt go that place because bod the pictures

We are here with Friends on business trip. The curry menu is very good and the portion is generous. The price is on the high side but the services and foods are exceptional. We are here in the evening. So, parking is not a big problem. But if you drop by for lunch, parking could be tricky. We will come back and try other menus.

Amazing food and great service! The interior is well decorated and intimate yet there is lots of seating! We had 2 different curry dishes and 2 cheesecakes! Highly recommend!

Very beautiful interior and atmosphere, our service was excellent and they were able to make a last minute reservation for us. I got the Matar paneer and it was delicious with great portion sizes (enough for lots of leftovers). My husband got the mango chicken entree and really enjoyed it. A little bit more expensive but we really enjoyed the Indian food they had.

One word ... EXCEPTIONAL! Wow, the food and service were amazing. Keith our server was wonderful. And as for the food ... the chicken vindaloo was incredible: so much meat, fresh, very little potato padding, and a great sauce. I asked for extra spicy and oh boy it was exactly as requested: super spicy but it still had all the flavours. Note that every meal comes with rice and naan included, so on that basis it's great value. One criticism: the naans appeared to be shop-bought, not authentic, maybe they don't have a tandoor oven to make naans in house. BTW the wine is very reasonably priced! I cannot speak highly enough of the food and ambience (this place is in a gorgeous old brick building). See pics

Delicious. The bread “Nachos” are killer. Wings are like I make at home, absolutely no flair to justify the cost. Won Ton Soup is fusion and so we get that, and it was very filling, but it’s technically not good. Floury taste and under seasoned jammed with odd ingredients stealing from it’s simplicity. The Pad Thai is delicious but not really Pad Thai. Woke bathrooms. Will be back, but not as enthusiastic as we were before having tried it.

Food was alright. I ordered the spicy pad thai which really didn't taste much like pad thai. Other people in my party enjoyed their stuff a lot, not really for me. Not bad, but not great either.

We were a group of 10 who went early on a Sunday evening and we were seated straight away. The restaurant was busy as well. The service we received from our server was exceptional. She took our order quickly, she was great with the kids and she checked on us to make sure everything was OK. She was wonderful, I didn't get her name unfortunately, otherwise I would write it here. The food was delicious and it was good sized portions. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere and will definitely go back again.

Fantastic find in St. John! Exceptional service from Bob for our party of 7. The bartender coordinated a table for us and served up great cocktails. Try a Bazooka Joe! The chef checked on our table to verify a steak temp and to make sure appetizers were to our liking. (The combo Satays were awesome). Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. Great little place! Xcellent service tonight. The food had much more flavor than we were used to. I had a seafood curry special!

Dropped in (party of 2) around 7:30 on a Wednesday evening and were seated right away. Ordered the Nan Nachos for a starter and Butter Chicken and Vindaloo (Lamb) for our entree. Nachos came out right away and were super good and plentiul (we couldn't eat them all if we wanted to save room for our entrees). The Butter Chicken was reported to be very good, but the Vindaloo was outstanding, and as feared, I couldn't finish it all. Our server (Bob) was also excellent. Would go back anytime I'm in St John.

I have been to Thandi a few times but my daughter's first time. I love the food and I think my daughter is very pleased with the foodas well! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The service is quick and the presentation is outstanding! We definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back!

I had the spicy Thai chicken. This was my first visit. For the price there should be more chicken, I found there was not a lot. Service was great. I believe his name was Darryl. Kept filling out water quickly and checked in on us for drinks too. Would go back!

I booked Thandi with a set menu for a corporate group of 24 . My entire group loved the experience and are still raving about the butter chicken a month later. The only complaint is that we all ate too much! Service was quick and delicious. Highly recommend for your group or a date night.

A premium priced Indian Cuisine Restaurant. Taste wise it was average and I didn’t find anything great, however, it has nice ambient and staffs were friendly.

Out of all the restaurants I went to in Saint John, Thandi was the most crowded! The place was packed for a random Wednesday and with good reason, their food and service was fantastic. Their curries come with naan and rice so they're super filling and it was delicious too. We ordered mango lassi along with our meal, I'd definitely recommend it.

The atmosphere and food are amazing. The service was prompt and attentive. As for the food, the fish pakoras were perfect. The lamb Rogan Josh was flavorful and tender. I will definitely come back.

First time in NB and celebrated our anniversary took a chance ! What an amazing experience and the food was delicious. Our server Gerry exceptional communication and genuine personality. He clearly understood our celiac allergies and also shellfish . We felt validated, heard and safe . Absolutely best dining experience in a very long time and beautiful atmosphere. Had a wonderful dinner here recently. The food was amazing! Mike was our server and was very attentive to our needs during the meal. My spouse had the beef vindaloo and I had the veg curry. Great sized portions and everything tasted so good! Can't wait to visit again!

I have to mention the food first, because it is phenomenal!! I have no doubt their food would impress anyone who loves a good curry. The atmosphere is warm, comforting and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. If there was one downside, we were in and out the door in about 35 minutes, which felt somewhat rushed. I did not even finish my drink as I did not want to chug the last few gulps. This was a Saturday night so I do understand the needs to keep traffic flowing. All in, it was a great experience, the only point of contention was feeling a bit rushed as my partner and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary, and wanted the evening to feel longer.

Our waiter Jerry (?) was very attentive and friendly and our food was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. I also appreciate all of the vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.

This is a solid dining choice in Saint John. Very good ambience and attentive waiting staff. The food was delicious - the Samosa had a delicate crust and flavourful filling topped with a nicely spiced chick pea sauce and the Chicken Tikka was LOADED with tender pieces of chicken in a rich, spicy masala - very good! IMO, Naan is the food that brings it all together and this is a miss for me. This is the first time I’ve had a packaged Naan at an Indian restaurant which seems unfortunate for a place that put so much pride into the other dishes.

One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever tasted in whole of Atlantic Canada. They are very professional at their work. We got our food on time even though the restaurant was packed and the food was very delicious.

My daughter said "Best food I've ever had", butter chicken very tasty + you can buy jars of it to take home and they give you a spice pouch for marinade. Samosas amazing! Loved how they were draped in chickpeas and an amazing sauce. I will be back!

Food is typically very good and our goto for Indian cosine. Had not so great experience today when ordering cheesecake. Cheeskakes here were portioned very liberally but tonight it feels like portions were halved but the price remained. Pictured was 10$.
