Ordered from this location regularly and once in a while the quality was lacking but I didn't complain because I believe in supporting small business, especially in these trying times. That said, the last three times I ordered the toppings were a mess and lacking and sloppy compared to the previous orders. I discreetly brought this to their attention and was very polite in how I raised my concern since I would like to order again from them. However, they did not respond for weeks, so I sent another message and asked if this was their contact email and they simply replied that was it was without any comments regarding my previous message to them. It doesn't send a good message to a loyal customer who lives in the city when a message is perceived to be ignored, especially considering how I was patient and didn't complain until it happened a third time. I wish I had a photo of the pizza before that was done well but all I have are photos of the last order. I have not ordered from this location since that last order as much as I enjoyed years of ordering from them overall. This is the importance of customer service. Sometimes I ordered through my partner or friends and so this is not a one time customer. I order 1 to 2 times a week for take out. If I ordered once a week from Big Daddy's at $25 average that works out to $1300 per annum and $13000 over ten years! I have reverted back to tried and true Romano's Pizza. My point is that I will order take out one way or another but if you want the advantage (as a business) of returning customers then when an issue is pointed out you probably should just make it right for the customer and let them continue supporting your business. Modified from 2 to 1 STAR, this is because of all the 5 star reviews suspiciously with no comments, likely friends/ family, workers, etc. So to help balance the true star rating I selected 1. I believe 2 or 3 stars is the reality here, most definitely not 4. I wish you all the best, however, and it is never too late to correct your business image. Cheers.

Called at 1:20am after a night out with my friends and was told the pizza would be there shortly. Waited patiently until around 3:00am. Called again at that time and was greeted with excuses about the delivery service and how they had no way of getting ahold of them and said that the 3rd party delivery service ended at 2am even though we placed the order 20 minutes after 1am. They then said that they would get our order remade and send it out asap. Again, we waited until 3:45am and we called back to see where the pizza was and they instantly got defensive and accused us of threatening them when we just wanted to know where the pizza was and when it would arrive. We told them that since we waited 2.5 hours we would not be paying for the pizza because waiting that long for delivery is a bit ridiculous. They then resorted to cussing, yelling and completely talking over us on the phone. In all they have horrible customer service and will not be ordering from them again which is a shame because all of my previous experiences with them has been great until now. Ps we never got the pizza

Delicious food and fast delivery. I ordered the Donair (1lb of meat!) and the garlic cheese fingers with bacon. Flavourful! I will definitely be ordering again soon. (The 1lb meat donair is enormous. I saved half for tomorrow evening's supper)

I wish there was a plus option here. Because the pizza was quite good.. the dough was much like homemade. There was an abundance of toppings. The only negative thing I can say was about the sauce. We all found it spicy ( and a little more then we like on it). I had one slice.... and ibs... I was in agony all night... so Because of that... unfortunately we won't be back..

Called order in, when we arrived the order had been lost, resulting in us having to wait again. Usually, businesses offer a small discount or additional product to keep their customers happy. The order was also wrong and the pizza was so spicy , my husband and children couldn't eat it. I used to like this place but I won't go back.

Veggie sub with Donair Sauce. One guy said was the 3rd person in 9 months to order a veggie sub and the other guy had never made one. Both were very friendly and the sub was awesome. They're the top rated pizza joint in town according to trip advisor so I was hoping their oven baked subs would be as good and it was awesome.

Came back after 6 years and couldn’t wait for a donair pizza..so disappointing. Over half of it was thrown out. Barely any lettuce and tomato but lots of onions. Skimpy on the sauce and just a shame. Won’t be recommending there to people out west anymore when they visit. Honestly a shame

The only thing that I didn’t like was they don’t serve ketchup for your pizza. Other than that everything was fine, price was moderate. We tried garlic bread and nachos plate. The quality and quantity both were pretty great. I would recommend it.

Really great pizza at a great price. Picked up a 12" square pizza and some wings on July 25, 2022. Price was right on and so was the taste, plenty for two people. Owner was very congenial too.

I love pizza, and being from out of town, it's often fun to try new pizza places. That's what brought me to Big Daddy's pizza. The location is in a strip mall. The location has 3 or 4 tables, but I'll be honest, it's wintertime and I know a pizza oven can get warm, but I froze while waiting for my pizza (I didn't order in advance). The cold restaurant is my only negative. The food: I ordered a 15" three topping pizza. Their pizzas are square (at least mine was). The pizza was cooked perfectly. I had read some reviews where people didn't like the sauce, but I thought the sauce was amazing, but I get that it is a personal preference. Pizza was fresh and hot, and the toppings were generous. I normally don't eat cold pizza, but without a way to heat it up as I am staying in a hotel, there was no way I was leaving any behind. It was still good cold! Next time I'm in Saint John and looking for pizza, Pizza Daddy will be on my list!

Decent spot, the food is okay to be honest. It would definitely hit when you're drunk and need something to eat late night. Had the donair sub and while the meat was good the sauce was way too sweet. If the sauce wasn't as sweet it would have been really good. The wings could have been cooked a bit longer. The pizza was pretty good as well.

Good pizza. Prices are good too. Gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. When we told him where we were from, he told us of various places to see while in St. John. Nice friendly local business.

We ordered a pizza, Garlic cheese fingers and donairs and everything was hot ,fresh and tasted delicious. The prices were also very reasonable . Can't wait to order again!

the donair was good. the pizza...was also good, but it wasn't cooked enough, we had to put it in the oven when we got home to make the slices separate without tearing it in half. it was great after we did, but the fact we did was kinda annoying. the staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is great, if they do it right. which isn't always. still, this is a pretty good place. ask for ya pizza well done!

Hands down, the Philly steak sub was the best sub I had, maybe the best ever. Price performance ratio is where it should be!

Always great service and great food. But last few times I grabbed a donair they were overly greasy and falling apart. 9 times outta 10 the donair is great but the odd time it's just not even something you wanna eat it's so greasy and messy !

I love big daddy’s! My #1 pizza place in Saint John never disappointed in my meal and they are always so friendly.. waiting for my order right now hehe :)

Well, firstly, I would like to clarify that I am not related to anyone at Big Daddy's nor do I know anyone working there. I was visiting family in Saint John and we decided to get pizza for a family get together. I don't know any pizza establishments in SaintJohn, as I live in Dartmouth, so we decided to support local and try Big Daddy's. I ordered two meat lover's pizzas from a lovely gentleman named Mac. He was very helpful and friendly. He made the ordering easy and when I arrived to pick up the pizzas they were piping hot, fresh out of the oven. 10 minutes later we sat down to dig in,and the pizzas were still hot. I order pizza in Dartmouth fairly often but nothing compared to the square meat lovers we devoured. I was impressed with the crust that was not greasy, great toppings and delicious sauce. It was very tasty. So much so, that the night before I was driving back to Nova Scotia, I had to have another Big Daddy's pizza. Definitely my go to pizza place whenever I visit Saint John.
