I was placed at this hotel for a conference. The hotel is as dilapidated as the shopping centre next to it. The bathroom is DISGUSTING with stains everywhere like it was never cleaned. The closet is dirty. I always have to call for fresh towels, somehow the staff forgot to put it there. Sheets and towels look old. Breakfast doesn't represent Kalimantan's delicious food. Food is not fresh. If you are sensitive, you can always taste that the food uses perhaps expired ingredients and not safe for consumption. But the conference lunch were better, and use fresh ingredients--strange how they treated two types of guests (room guests and conference guests) differently. This happens throughout the 3-night stay and 2-day conference. Service is below standard and staff just does not seem to care about anything. Being next to a shopping centre I thought will make life easier, but there is only a few cafes, fast food chain, and one department store, all on ground floor. The other floors were empty like a ghost town. Apparently they lost to a newer shopping mall. There is also a big sign at hotel lobby that this hotel has not paid its taxes. So I guess they have money issues. Really avoid this hotel at all cost.

An old looking hotel with poorly maintained facilities. Since the beginning of check-in the receptionist has apologized for running out of towels? What happened? Staying in a hotel but can't take a shower because no towel? ask for a solution they are confused and no way out? finally I asked for a pool towel.. I just stayed overnight because it was late night and there was no other hotel in Samarinda. For next time will never back to this hotel..

This hotel is quite cheap at it's class (especially for the price for ballroom). The interior is good and the swimming pool are pretty large. The ballroom is okay, not that good but certainly not bad. The room is nice too. The strategic location of the hotel is certainly it's main attraction for people, it's located in the center of the city. Really easy to go everywhere from the hotel. You can go with online transport, rental car, or just walk. It's that easy.

Hotel looks old..clean but still looks old.. Location actually very strategic but the mall is empty..need more efforts to make this hotel back to 4 star again

Had a room with bathtub for a good price last year

Love the ambience, food is super great, cozy enough and has mall attached to it. Love love love. 💖 The negative thing is it's too hard to park in front of the hotel since it's too little space available. I hop in to the mosque of Plaza Mulia of course it's simply wonderful and cozy. I saw that Selyca Mulia donated quite often but from last month, they weren't. Wish they could donate more frequently though. 😊🙏🏻🙏🏻

Good, lots of breakfast menu. Have a good view. We can swim in a pool, and nice room. Two things that I don't like is the dead electric generator. All hotel hallway was dark, no electric a all. And they provide a dirty pillowcase..

The hotel quite new when I stayed there. It has mall connected to it. Supermarket, Pizza Hut, 2 coffee shops, bakery, and donuts are available. The hotel it self should have done better with some of its facility. While the room is good, the wall is too thin, 1 believe it's only single wood board, as you can hear someone on the next room trying to plug his phone charger to electricity socket on the wall. It's also the case for water pressure in the bathroom, it's just too noticeable. Swimming pool is located in 3rd floor. It has sun rise view, very nice from 6-7 am. Then becomes too hot after that. The pool it self should be maintained better, as many people jump in every day.

Firstly, I was there at peak holiday season so maybe that's why I didn't get the best of it. Went there, already book and pay half for 4 rooms before hand. But almost got no rooms because there's been misunderstanding between the marketing and the front desk. Waiting for the it for about an hour. That's kinda left me with enough disappointment. And after a long wait, trying to relax myself in the bath tub. But the hot water didn't work properly. Even when I fully turn the hot water, what came out is only lukewarm. And not only that, the shower curtain, bathroom mat, and the bath tub was filthy. So I asked for change directly. I've never use the hotel's toiletries, so I didn't realize at first, but then I found that they didn't gave me sandals and toiletries. So I wrote a note, asking for they thoughtfulness of my experiences so far and leave the note at the bathroom sink. The nice thing is they apologize for the oversights. They are pretty friendly, especially the staff at the restaurant and at the lobby.

A very lovely experience. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, the hotel (lobby and everywhere) are smell so good and refreshing. Definitely worth the price.

Strategic location above the mall. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Hotel staff are friendly. The bathroom has a bathtub. Unfortunately some of the furniture and taps / shower are quite old.

It is a nice hotel, and has a mall below. I went there for the pool, but the pool was out of my expectation.

I like the ambience in this hotel, the service is very friendly, the food is delicious, but I don't like the water in the bathroom because the water is yellow.
