Came here on a weekend afternoon and it was absolutely packed with people, but we were lucky enough to be seated. I think most people were waiting on takeaway. We were greeted promptly by their front counter staff, and made our orders shortly. The staff who served us definitely helped with the experience with his friendliness, and even complimented our demon slayer face-masks. I had the tofu teriyaki donburi and some of the Japanese croquettes, and it was all freshly and deliciously made. It came with a side of miso soup which was pretty decent at best, I tend to like most miso soup that I have unless its extremely watery, but this one was good. The donburi came with this sauce that really brought out the flavour in the meal, and I couldn’t get enough of it, but without it, it is a little bland. The croquettes were a new experience for me, and it was pretty tasty. It was filled with corn and pork belly, and I also dipped it in the donburi sauce because it was that good. Surprisingly, this meal that looked pretty small in appearance managed to fill me up, and for a decent price too. Theres definitely value for money here, and it doesn’t cut short on quality too.

I wish I could give review everytime I eat here. I had the Baos and also Karage chicken and so perfectly cooked and delicious! Bellow is my previous reviews given; If I could give a 5 star a second time I would but it won't let me! so I'll add to my original post, I just ate here again and had 3 Baos and my partner had some beef wagu Yakinku, and we had chicken Karage to share! Top quality yet again! Defiantly a fan of this place -original review I made - Omg so unbelievably yummy! I've been there before for their delicious Baos which are amazing, today tried their Milk buns! So yummy ! I was so happy and it's such a treat to get to eat here! Plus the staff are very happy and kind and give great hospitality

Such a beautiful and yummy dinner to celebrate at Motto Motto! Rina had fantastic customer service and made us feel so welcome and special. I was really craving warm healthy food tonight after a big achievement and I was very impressed even my fussy child ate it and loved it. We’ll definitely be back again, great music, great food, great service.

Don't know if I was just hungry or what but this was great. We had a variety of dishes and all were fantastic. The youngest thought her Udon was spot on. The two Ramen dishes were awesome & the Bao's were so soft & fresh. Karage too was very tender. Staff were friendly, but they could improve how they distribute their customers food. All was placed at the end of our table, when it could easily have been given to the people who ordered it. This is a very minor issue. All in all though, a great experience

Tried some of Motto Motto's new Japanese burger range during their giveaway for International Cheeseburger Day. Overall the burger didn’t hold together as well as a pattie-based burger, so it ended up a bit messy to handle with the contents of the burger sliding around between the soft milk bun. But I’d gladly do it again cos the beef was definitely better quality than your typical cheeseburger and the slices of Wagyu were so tender and lovely. Wagyu cheese burger, $16 - 120g sliced wagyu beef 6+ marble score (Limestone Coast, SA), cheese, lettuce, tomato, sake pickles, mustard, Japanese mayo. Fully keen to try the rest of the burger line up too - there’s the lobster and prawn burger (also $16), pork katsu burger, and spicy chicken karaage burger (latter 2 are $14).

The food really is just amazing. It’s so unique compared to what offered around here, the quality is incredible and the atmosphere is just lovely. Feels like you’re eating in an anime in the best possible way. And the staff and incredible, especially Angie. :)

I wanted to have dinner away from the extreme busy-ness of 8 Street and the food courts so wandered to where the restaurants were in Garden City. I was attracted to the specials board outside Motto Motto but they had sold out of what I wanted so I ended up ordering from their normal menu. Really nice food, adequately friendly service (the lack of thank you and goodbye upon departure was rather disappointing in a Japanese restaurant) and very quick.

Friendly staffs and good dining atmosphere with nice music. Food is always delicious with consistent quality. Smart design for take away ramen to separate the noodle from the soup to bring home. Will definitely visit again.

We had a takeaway and came home. There was no sauce for our food. I contacted them and Hisato answered it and gave us a sincere apology and told us we could have a refund or a free food next time. So next week, we went there and talked to her. She remembered us. She said sorry again. I didn't know how to use motto motto points. She kindly explained to me as well. She was so nice and got our order correctly. She gave us this cute memo and asked for the review. The food is great and staff are nice! but we wish the burgers came back. It was so good. We miss it.

Salmon Don is so good. The flavours are not basic but the whole bowl comes together really well. Portion size is enough you won’t be over full.

Disappointed with the ramen quality. Noodles overcooked, Spring onions looked pathetic and looked like chopped up with blunt blades, Tonkatsu broth was flavourless with minimal umami and it was over salty. Utensils not provided, customers had to pick up. Tables never got cleared when the customers left because it's under staffed. 2 staffs managed all the orders and it was overwhelming for them already. Better ramen spots there in Brisbane for same price and atmosphere.

Amazing place, really friendly staff and such amazing ramen, I’m vegetarian and this is the best plant based ramen that I’ve tried in Australia.

Always fantastic! The service here is consistently friendly and efficient and the food is tasty with generous portions. I often get delivery from here and the care and attention put in overall is brilliant. I never have anything missing and everything that might spill is always tightly sealed and wrapped up.

The classic chaashuu tonkotsu ramen is a convincing Hakata style ramen experience. Includes a generous serving of chaashuu slices. Not quite the richest tonkotsu flavour but it's suitably creamy. I prefer my noodles to be slightly firmer but that's not a deal breaker by any means. I look forward to trying the red and black variants in the future. A selection of beers are available.

This was my first time eating at Motto Motto after hearing good things from my friends and I wasn't disappointed. The food is a tiny bit expensive but well worth it. The ingredients were fresh and the flavour was excellent. I would definitely recommend it!

😠 Food & Cocktails were absolutely amazing, however, the lack of service forgetting a soft drink for one of the children at our table, and then forgetting a burger for one of the adults, is unforgivable.
