This restaurant blows me away, in the morning hours they already packed a huge amount of delivery more than 40 packages, besides the walk in customers like us. We order the best seller which is more like the hainamese rice pork with egg and gravy. They taste so yummy, no wonder they got such a big preparation table and kitchen.

One of the legendary restaurant for BBQ roasted pork. Khao Moo Daeng Si Morakot is local favorite for Thai-Chinese style roasted pork, which they opened for more over 70 years. This place offers only two kind of pork dishes, the BBQ roasted pork and Crispy Pork. The famous menu BBQ roasted pork is made them well known and popular. BBQ roasted pork comes with rice, boiled egg and topping with their signature gravy sauce on top. The BBQ pork is really nice, it marinated in their special sauce. Texture of the pork is tender and chewy, with the gravy sauce is mixing well together, it give a little sweet flavor and topping with soy sauce vinegar it boosting the taste. The dish I ordered also come with Crispy pork which also real amazing.

My childhood restaurant, classic and consummate. I am happy to come back and eat here again. The roast pork and crispy pork belly remain a topnotch. Their roast pork is lean and has a well balanced flavor. The crispy pork belly is crunchy and aromatic. Both are nice sizes. The gravy is on the sweet side, but not to be bad. I added the fresh, long hot pepper in sweet soy sauce, and it was still scrumptious. I suggested that you order just roast pork and pork belly, just these two combinations. But feel free to explore more. In my personal opinion, the only place that can beat this place is located in Nakorn prathom, which is about 2 hours away and a 1000 bath for gas. So.. well, more benefits that this place have are, next door over to this place served excellent pork sate. And before you get to this place, you will see one of the best oysters omelet place( dang fried oyster). I usually visited all three when I came to this neighborhood. It is very challenging to do business in this neighborhood because of other exquisite restaurants around. In spite of that, this place must have done something right to stay in business for over 60 years.

The food has a homemade feel to it that just adds to the great flavor of the gravy and crunchiness of the pork. Rice is on point too. Our hotel was around the block and didn’t include breakfast so this historic neighborhood restaurant was an amazing and cheaper alternative.

I enjoyed eating their delicious crispy pork belly and roast pork with Chinese sausage rice. Looks ordinary but once you eat it, you know the food is too good to be that delicious

Why ruin crispy pork with all that bland, sweet sauce πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Even the pickled peppers are bland. Bitter melon soup was fine. Cluttered, unhygienic space. Of all the food options in BK, this place was a bust.

the duck soup is awesome, duck is tender and the soup has a bit of herbal taste. the bitter gourd soup is also very delicious, pork ribs cooked till tender and bitter gourd melts in your mouth. perfect. tried the mixed meat with rice, roasted pork, grilled pork and sausage. all the meat cooked just the way i like it. the stewed eggs are Michelin level. the yolk is moist and golden. the egg white is soft and bouncy. some of the staff speaks some English, so you can point at the menu with pictures and make your order. you can take pictures of your order just in case another person calculates the bill. can be very crowded, so come early before lunch time if you don't want to queue.

Our first time here at this restaurant and very much impressed with the Khao Moo Daeng. Good size portions, lots of sauce and perfect boiled eggs. We're going to make this our go to place in Chinatown from now on.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Really enjoyed the rolled noodles with crispy pork. First time trying this kind of noodle and I really like it. Never seen these before too. The pork skin was super crispy and the pork was tender. The soup was flavorful but pretty garlicky. They serve the food really fast here. Perfect if you need a...

😐 Tried out this super crowded place in Chinatown. The place is always packed during dinner time, but luckily today managed to get a spot. Tried out the stir fried prawn with chili paste, fried bass with garlic, & egg fried. Overall the taste is good. Also got the fresh OJ (which is a must) and chrysa...
