Wonderful experience at this location. It's reasonably close to everything downtown. First time staying at any Drury hotels honestly. The name might not sound good but had a great customer service experience during the stay. Quickly I want to highlight one experience: After thoroughly scanning my room prior to checking out. I was half way to home, the hotel called and informs me that a member of the cleaning staff found my brand new iPhone left at the hotel. A lot of bad things could have happened but I loved their honesty and reported it back to me. Super appreciate the effort and they sent it back to me ASAP.

The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review is the general wear and tear of an obviously older building. The room was a little small for the price point but I can understand due to the location. I highly recommend this particular area near Commerce Street as there's a ton of stuff to do with an average walk of about 10 minutes or less. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous and the complimentary breakfast and dinner with the happy hour was a pleasant surprise. The terrace was nice, however, it was way too hot to use in the afternoon with the sun smoldering the deck, at least on the sixth floor, and the view was obstructed due to a gigantic tree. Also, as of August 2022, major downtown construction going on. Very noisy with lots of closed sidewalks and jackhammers, beeping trucks etc. Not so bad in the evening but you're definitely waking up early. Parking was very convenient and reasonably priced at 19 dollars a day. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This hotel is a great option for families. The breakfast and “kickback” (which is essentially dinner and happy hour) make this property a huge value, especially if you are traveling with multiple kids or in town for an extended stay. Pros: Breakfast - hot and cold breakfast items available. It is the same exact items every day but still great for free breakfast. Breakfast also runs until 9:30 which is nice for the sleeping in crowd. The kick back happy hour - 3 alcoholic beverages per person, per day. They’re definitely serving some of the cheapest liquor ever but who can say no to free drinks. They did have a local craft beer on tap which was great. The food menu changes daily and while it is essentially cafeteria food, it’s free, so it is a good option for kids. Staff - the staff was so friendly the entire stay and would respond quickly if we ever needed anything. At check in they have a lot of useful information and everyone always smiled and said hello when we passed. Location - the hotel had doors that open right onto the river walk. It is very centrally located in to many restaurants and only a 10 min walk to the Alamo. Cons: Outdated - the rooms and lobby are very clean but just look very outdated. I also didn’t love the layout of the bathroom and the shower almost looked like it was going to fall apart because it was so old. If you’re looking for something nice and modern, this is not the place for you. Size of the pool - we did really enjoy using the hotel pool and the hot tub but if there are ever more than like 8 people up there it feels very cramped and uncomfortable.

Really a great hotel! Clean, comfortable room. Friendly, helpful employees. Good location. Generous kickback event every evening with free hot food and cold drinks. There was some traffic noise and riverwalk partying heard from our room. Due to the shower in our room not working, we were forced to change rooms in the middle of the night. (We never heard anything from management, now three days later.) If not for this issue, I would have definitely given 5 stars.

Great service and quality. Free Breakfast and Dinner (Dinner with party). I’m telling y’all Breakfast, Dinner, guests services and hotel rooms are AMAZING! I highly recommend this hotel when in San Francisco. Also, you get a great view of the riverside. You can access the hotel from the front of the river. Manger of the place is super nice and will listen to you.

This hotel is lovely. The location is great and the rooms are really nice. They have high ceilings, crown molding, comfy beds, and soft and cozy sheets and blankets. You get a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The free breakfast is good as is the 530 kick back. The food was very good and the free drinks were awesome. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it!

Had room 312 that overlooked the parking entrance. While people entered the hotel it was loud, people yelling at each other to get this or go over there, etc. Lots of beeping noise due to cars being locked and trunks being auto opened and closed. Is right by the elevator so you can hear lots of talking due to people getting off the elevator and talking in the alcove. I really liked the hot breakfast and happy hour. Happy hour offered 3 free drinks along with complimentary nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, and different hot options eat day. Really great if you have kids. Pool and hot tub on top floor along with exercise room. River Walk access from the hotel and lots to do around the hotel. FYI, the parking garage entrance is small and you turn like going into an alley. Very tight and limited parking. Do not cross the parking lines or they will charge you for two spots. Beware large vehicles.

Location. Location. Location. Close to everything in the Riverwalk area. Staff was extremely friendly, the security guard posted outside (which made me feel very comfortable), the 2 front desk clerks who felt like old friends right away, the drink & meal attendants, and the front desk clerk at checkout, was especially helpful!! Food was great! Beds were comfy. Parking garage was very affordable. Highly recommend!! Thank you, we'll be back

It could really be a 4 but the FREE breakfast(sausage Patty, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal and some fruit) was well worth it and a great start to the day. The FREE 3 drinks daily 5:30pm was an amazing way to not spend money and have alcohol. The FREE dinner is absolutely amazing!!! So much value in that regard. My room was in the older section but it was mildly clean. Not much detail to cleaning corners or detailing the room. The pool is small. 2 hot tubs. My bed was comfortable. The water gets hot enough to melt skin. Great views. Good location. Wonderful staff. I had a corporate discounted rate but I wouldn’t stay here if I didn’t have that.

Shout out to Julie Ann at the front desk and everyone else apart of the Drury staff. This was out second time staying there because we had such a good time our first visit. The rooftop pool is fun but there is something so peaceful about the Indoor pool during their quiet time. We will be back soon!!

I loved the location! The picture is from our view at breakfast. Breakfast was very yummy and I enjoyed the evening light dinner as well. Only downside was that the heater in the pool was broken. Parking garage is tight, but that was expected.

Good location and clean hotel! We got the suites with the river walk. Overall, everything is great except for the elevator. There’s only one elevator which make us wait longer at the busy time. Also, the soundproofing are not good, you can hear all the noise outside and from far away. I still want to come back and stay here next time! Also, pet friendly 👍

Breakfast was decent but same thing every day. Happy hour with food, some thing it was the same thing every night. Each person gets 3 free drinks each night. Rooms were clean. Parking garage needs power washed. Needs some updates and deep cleaning in halls. Over all would stay again.

On a new and renovating part of the river walk, this hotel has the distinction of being in a former bank building. A big bank building. The original brass bas reliefs and other decorative elements remain; even the vault. Drury has an acceptable free breakfast and happy hour with a free wine or beer each day of your stay. There is an actual limited menu bistro with bar if you need something late night. Rooms are quite nice, more space than some others-so hooray! Easy access to the silliness that is the River walk. The rooftop pool/hot tub area has a very nice view of the city. Bring a bathing suit. Two hot tubs!

It was a great stay! I enjoyed every minute of my trip spent in San Antonio staying at the Drury. The staff was amazing & the check in process was very convenient with a great breakfast served. I stayed in a suite & I definitely would again! Definitely would check this out for someone looking for a fine hotel on the San Antonio river walk.

For the price of the room you would think it would be a little more sound proof. Was not told but was placed in a room next to elevator, heard it moving all night, even though I booked a week in advance. Also was on 16th floor and I could hear all the street noises. Other than that rest of the stay was good. In my eyes not worth the money unless you take ear plugs.

Great Location. Right on the river walk and walking distance from all the major attractions. Car park feels secure with ample of parking space. Costs $23+taxes per day till 1:00pm of the checkout date. We parked our car after checkin and never felt the need to take it out. The Go river cruise is just across the river. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was clean but there was no view from the window. It was overlooking some other building. The washroom is tiny. Nothing much to talk about the breakfast with just some scrambled eggs, breads, porridge coffee and juice. They also server free buffet dinner, with couple of items, every evening between 5:30 pm - 7:00pm. So if you want to save some money, this is ok else I would recommend to try out the various restaurants along the river walk.

Drury in is our home away from home. Wally ( team leader) treated us as if we were family. He was very friendly and always making sure we were ok. He was Awesome. Very attentive as well. Also, the bartender downstairs / Ivy was great. She made us feel comfortable and always checked on us.( She also makes great drinks 😏) ask for either of these great people. They treat you like we are on top of the world. Front desk is very friendly as well. All and All this is the best hotel I'd recommend 👌

Had a beautiful room on level 7. 7 is where the pool is too. Outdoor rooftop pool is nice with working hot tub. Great breakfast, and the 5:30 manager kick back is cool with green drinks and food. Nice place to stay if your going to the Alamodome or Zoo. It's also in the River Walk.

My favorite things about the Drury Inn and Suites is the service and the location! The room we stayed in was a King suite. The best was pretty comfortable. The room was very dark and dimly lit. There was a small rear patio that we could look through the alleyway and see the riverwalk. The proximity to everything downtown was excellent. Our room was ready for us upon arrival and there was parking available - heads up - there is low clearance in the garage and wont fit oversized vehicles. We enjoyed the complimentary food and drinks. The employees were all very kind and professional. The hotel itself is a little dated, and some floors have an odor. There were a lot of guests staying there and we had some children running in the halls, but in our suite, the room is behind the small living room area so it was quite peaceful except for the sirens late at night. (every hotel has guests and outside noise!) Overall, we were very happy with our stay because of the location, amenities and service. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Very clean room with amazing views Upon walking in for check in there was a long line but no one at the front desk I took it upon myself to go look for someone. I found the supervisor by the bar laughing and talking with the bartender. I’m like “is anyone going to come out and help us check in”? As she follows behind me another gentleman (employee) comes with a plate of food for himself, he’s not saying anything & Edith (the supervisor) tells him very rudely “IVE BEEN JUMPING IN TO HELP YOU, I THINK YOU COULD DO THE SAME FOR ME” we were like 😳!! There was absolutely no need for her to embarrass him like that or even treat him that way in front of ALL of us!! I immediately apologized to him for HER behavior. Other than that, I had a room on the 5th floor. The room was very clean, the bed was so comfy, comfy sheets, I was out like a light in less than 5 minutes! The a/c worked like a charm! Very cold! I couldn’t complain about our room. I’d stay again and highly recommend, the balcony had views of the river walk. I love how the elevator had its own entrance and exit that would take you directly to and from the river walk. I loved the rooftop swimming pool. Overall, my stay and satisfaction was 10/10. Edith, if you’re reading this, FIX YOUR ATTITUDE AND TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER! DO BETTER!!! SHAME ON YOU!

Overall our stay was ok. There were a lot of families there during the holiday season. The location is nice because its on the riverwalk, though it isn't on the the busiest/nicest part of the it. The service was ok for the most part. A few f the ladies working the desk did not seem to know the are well when asking for advice with restaurants. The complimentary soda machine and small free buffet were nice. The gym was unimpressive, but at least they had something. You can tell that the hotel just has a lot of wear and can use a remodel. Would I stay here again? probably not, but it wasn't terrible.

Not giving them 5 stars since they can improve the cleaning in their rooms. Other than that great staff, amazing location, and the courtesy snack hour including 3 drinks per person is a plus. Would recommend if you’re not looking for any luxury.

The hotel is clean and nice. Dining hall is beautiful. Free 3 drinks are awesome 😏 and the location is perfect. It's right next to all the food and the heart of the river walk. And the rooftop pool was clean and perfect temp. The only thing I was very disappointed about was the breakfast. How do you mess up a bowl of cereal? Cereal was stale. Milk bland. Sausages were nasty and greasy. Gravy on the biscuits was bland. Eggs had zero flavor. Potatoes were soggy and bland. This Hotel was a lot pricier than most. I used to work at a much cheaper hotel, and used to eat their breakfast regularly. This was not what I expected from such a nice hotel. I didn't even have high expectations, but they didn't even make it near the bar. To quote my traveling buddy who eats everything, "Worst food I've had in a long time..."

Nice clean room! Enjoyed the food and drink provided both breakfast and evening (as my wife would say: "the best thing about this food is I didn't have to cook it and the next best thing is I didn't have to clean it up" :) very nice location right along the Riverwalk. We were able to walk right out and start enjoying the area as it's close to so many things! Also enjoyed the hot tub :)

Great location in the heart of the river walk. Breakfast and 5:30 kick back were great. Within walking distance for everything we did downtown. Staff was great and nice pool area. Great price considering location. FYI a 2020 Nissan Armada will fit in the parking garage with 1" 1/2" to spare.

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. 10 Stars Fantastic! Gorgeous location in heart of Downtown and Historical San Antonio, right by the famed River Walk and near The Alamo! Beautiful rooms, staff is the BEST, free huge breakfast, amazing meeting rooms for all size events and occasions! Highly recommend! Y'all come!! You will LOVE it, too!
