Jayne and her staff are ahhhmazing. We had our wedding dinner with all of our friends and family on Jayne's gorgeous outdoor patio. The night was absolutely perfect. The food was over the top delicious, the drinks were gorgeous and Jayne and her staff made all of our guests so happy! We will continue to go to Jayne's year after year! Thank you for an amazing evening!

We went on Thanksgiving 2019. Traditional American Thanksgiving meal. Turkey was super good. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

Jayne totally rocks! She is the ultimate host and has a 5-Star Team at the bar, on the floor and in the kitchen. The burgers are The Best! Try any of their specials ... mussels with chorizo leeks and cherry tomatoes were a home run. Food is fresh, wholesome and super flavorful. Bartender Gerard manages the bar, service with style. Nice selection of beers, wines and interesting cocktails- sazerac. Try the pork chop. It’s a quaint, quirky, cozy place. Jaynes from UK so there are nods to English cuisine like fish n chips, sticky toffee pudding and Indian-inspired flavors. Execution is top-notch. Flavors are beautiful.

Date night never tasted so good! We ordered the white bean crostini for appetizer, the Impossible Foods burger (Jayne's way), and the chorizo mussels. To drink we had a house specialty called the paper crane and a glass of Mas De Gourgonnier (an excellent Cabernet Sauvignon from Provence). We specifically went for the Impossible Foods burger and it did not disappoint, highly recommended!!

A beautiful location all sorts of wonderful things to look at on the walls. The food was incredible and the staff made the evening a real treat. Try the sticky toffee pudding and have a Pimms and feel like you're in England.

The back patio... magical and intimate. The arancini... Melts in your mouth. The mussels with chorizo... Covered in an incredible garlic-y heaven broth. This place was the perfect romantic dinner spot.

Wow. Sat at the bar and had dinner. First, the restaurant is gorgeous - cozy, warm, inviting. Staff were casual and wonderful. No fake conversation with bartender. Amazing menu and cocktails. After dinner drinks were better then anywhere I've seen in San Diego. Had the pleasure of watching the chefs. Just an overall wonderful experience.

The food is amazing and the ambiance is Greta for date nights. The lamb is perfectly seasoned and not gamey at all. The sauce I had with my salmon was the best sauce I've ever had and I've been to many 3 star Michelin restaurants. The toffee desert was outstanding and not too sweet. It was literally a perfect meal for me. Only thing that could've improved is the steak we ordered was supposed to be medium rare but came out bloody rare. We didn't want to anger the kitchen staff so we just ate it since we didn't want it to come back overcooked. Steak is always dicey at non steakhouses. Definitely putting this into my regular rotation of go to restaurants in SD.

Jaynes has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere with impeccable service and deliciously gourmet food. Their bar is small but the cocktails are amazing. I highly recommend Jayne's for date night or small group. My group of 3 shared the mussel starter and I had the scallop entree, both were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Just the right size too. Our server anticipated we might be cold sitting to close to the rear patio in a chilly night and asked if we wanted to move. Then he balanced our table legs without us even saying a thing. Lovely lighting, great energy, nothing I don't love about this place.
