Oh,
this
beach
is
just
wonderful!
The
reviews
and
travel
websites
weren't
kidding
when
they
said
its
rarely
crowded,
and
we
even
went
on
Memorial
Day.
Please
be
advised,
however,
it
is
a
mile
hike
just
to
get
down
to
the
Coves
Beach.
It's
a
beautiful
hike
that
I
highly
recommend,
though,
and
you
get
two
miles
of
walking
in.
If
the
mile
hike
down
and
back
up
is
deterring
you
a
little
bit,
you
can
go
to
the
kirby
Cove
Campground
website
to
purchase
a
parking
permit
and
drive
down
kirby
Cove
Road.
Be
careful!
It's
a
single
lane
road
with
many
pedestrians
walking
it,
and
you
have
to
open
the
gate
initially
to
get
down
it.
This
beach
has
a
beautiful
view
of
Golden
Gate
Bridge,
and
you
can
see
the
large
cruise
and
cargo
ships
come
in
and
out
of
the
bay.
Please
be
advised
that
it
does
get
really
windy
walking
down
there,
and
it
can
be
difficult
to
find
parking
up
near
the
vantage
point
due
to
people
wanting
pictures
of
the
bridge.
It's
say
it's
definitely
worth
it,
though,
if
you're
looking
for
scenery
without
a
ton
of
people.
