Loved staying here! Staff were friendly and very helpful about sightseeing and getting around the city. It was in a great location and close to shopping and sightseeing. Complimentary wine hour was accompanied by live music and a great chance to interact with fellow hotel guests. The room was clean and spacious however the bathroom was on the smaller side. Our room and a coffee machine and tea bags and mugs which was wonderful. Particularly loved the addition of a water jug and cold water dispenser in the corridor! We arrived well before check in time and they were more than happy to store our bags at no extra cost. Highly recommended and would stay again when visiting San Francisco :)

Great little hotel in a central location of SF. The service we received was great especially since we travelled with our small dog (they’re pet friendly!). Although we didn’t get to eat at their restaurant during our stay, the menu looked incredible if you like Mediterranean food. I look forward to coming back.

Clean room, friendly staff, very accommodating! We arrived early and had a late flight on checkout. Both times they were nice enough to offer and store our luggage. It’s worth mentioning what other people have said: expect fees, walls are thin and there wasn’t free breakfast. But they do give you 5$ off the hotel restaurant; we enjoyed our breakfast there.

Ok place overall, nice hall with free wine at 5:30~6pm, small elevators, the rooms are not well isolated from sound and I could hear very well couples 'having a very good time' at the same time from two different rooms. Couldn't sleep for two nights because of that. The building is well located though. A walk away from all restaurants and cafes and downtown. They have a nice restaurant downstairs.

We stayed at the hotel in October 2017. When we arrived there was live music and free wine was given to the guests that was lovely and very welcoming. The hotel is very clean and the furniture is new/ renovated. It is located a walking distance to all of the major spots in the city- union square and the fisherman's wharf. The only issue we had is that the building itself is very old, therefor walls do not block noises from other rooms.

I really loved the staff here that welcomed us for our stay. Their friendly attitude made us feel so welcome and their wine and entertainment nights are beautiful. It feels like you are among friends. The hotel itself is very clean but a bit noisy due to thin walls. Despite that we had a very good time.

We loved this delightful hotel. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and efficient and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were clean and nice. Each evening there was a complimentary wine tasting in the beautiful and festive lobby with local musicians providing entertainment. The pet friendly restaurant was appreciated and superb. We will definitely visit this hotel, again.

Loved our stay here. The staff was extremely nice. We were happily surprised when they offered a complimentary bottle of wine. The cafe that serves breakfast is fabulous. The food is fantastic. Also, the rooms are clean and well maintained. We looooved the place and would highly recommend it.

This place was amazing. A very nice elegant place to come stay in the city. With GREAT AMAZING staff. From the front end people to the housekeepers everyone here is so friendly. They also have free wine from 530-6 and music playing in the lobby nightly. Great ambience. Super friendly people. We really enjoyed our stay. Great price. We stayed on the 9th floor. The king city view room and had a nice view of the city. Overall great experience.

Friendly hotel staff & satisfying services. We stayed twice at the hotel, the first time the room was spacious but the second time it was very small. We stayed a few days and we noticed that unfortunately it has some cleaning issues. Breakfast is ok, but you have to pay extra. As for the location it is a good choice but it is better to pay attention after 20.00 because of the many homeless people of the downtown area.

This place was really neat. I don't have any complaints other that, due to the nature of this place being I'm downtown San Francisco, I had to park in the parking garage across the street when I got in at 10:00 PM. They did offer to help with my luggage and I should have taken them up on it! The room smelled kind of funny, but it was charming. I loved the colorful, internationally themed decor, and I loved the restaurant. The hotel staff at the front desk were very kind, and the lobby had a strong but pleasant smell when I walked in. Would stay here again if I need to be downtown.

Friendly staff: I travel with 2 kids under 4 and they accommodated for them without my asking (extra towels, delivering a fridge). They offer a voucher to their restaurant with your stay, but you can't use it on the last day because the restaurant's and the hotel's billing is separate... That's how it was explained to us anyway. Location is a bit far away from attractions, but if you are willing to take the bus, it takes about 10-20 minutes to go to most places. Around here is one good doughnut / bakery but the other surrounding places are not special. This is an old building. You can tell because all the electric outlets are additions to the original building. That being said, they have been nicely renovated. Bathrooms are very small but neat and clean. We saw one cockroach during our stay but they are quite unavoidable in a city like San Francisco. There was street noise but it wasn't so loud that it bothered us. The filtered water systems was a great bonus as were the live band and wine each evening. A nice atmosphere.

It was a noisy hotel (thin walls I guess) but that was not really a problem. Room was clean, we were staying right above the main entrance. The staff very friendly and just a generally good atmosphere in the lobby. The location is alright being close to Union Square but a bit further down the neighborhood was somewhat sketchy. I don't think I would want to walk around after dark (which we didn't because I was traveling with my kids) and would rather use Uber. What I liked about this hotel was the wine hour, the water taps in the hallway and the music being played in the lobby during wine hour... Don't drink wine but it was nice to hang around.

Very good hotel, great price/quality. The restaurant is nice, but the breakfast has extremely poor service. They told us after 20 min waiting that what we ordered was no longer available. There was only powder coffee, the machine didn't work throughout our stay. The reception employees are great and extremely friendly. Rooms are big and clean, although you can hear literally everything from the rooms next door.
