Exceptional medical center. Easy access right off 280. Patient dropoff is clear and parking is available in the elevated garage if you can't find surface parking in the parking lot. Lots to do and see within walking distance if you're waiting on a patient. Our family member has always been more than satisfied with the treatment and care received.

Came here for an outpatient procedure about a month ago. I was worried about finding my way to the specific department but the staff at the front entrance were so kind, friendly, and helpful. Huge kudos to them! They take your temperature at the door and request that you sanitize your hands and put on one of the masks they provide. The facilities themselves are very new, modern, and gorgeous. Shoutout to the front desk staff for the professionalism and efficiency. I arrived early for my appointment and was taken back early. The appointment itself was very smooth and the provider was kind and explained everything she did and why she did it. You can tell this place is a well-oiled machine from the moment you walk in the door. Thank you for everything!

I was told that the best place to give birth was Mission Bay hospital and tho the hospital is beautiful, modern and has very comfortable rooms, I cannot say the same about the doctors. My birth experience at Benioff hospital was literally traumatizing. I was induced because I had a tare in my sack and they left me laboring for days. After 16 hour labor I decided I wanted an epidural, I asked the doctor if he could do the epidural because I suffer from scoliosis they completely ignored what I said and told me the resident had to do it. After my epidural was placed wrong and they cranked up my pitosin they found out that I was in a lot of pain because my epidural was placed wrong. After this A LOT of different doctors came and NONE of them knew anything, all of them would say different things about how my labor was going. After each shift change the doctors would not communicate with each other at all, my nurse and my doula had to step in & tell the doctors they needed to make up their minds and tell me what was happening and how long I was going to be in labor for before thinking about a c section. The only highlight of my experience was a great nurse named Carly <3. I cannot say good enough things about her. After I requested a c section on my third day of labor, they didn't let me even bring the camera inside like they did to everyone else. About 10 different doctors came in to change my mind about the Section, suddenly everyone cared... When I got to the post party recovery room the nurse was so mean she said she didn't care about my comfort all that mattered was the baby.... don't go to this hospital. They completely discourage anything the patient says. I felt like I had no control over my body, because I literally had no control.

This is top tier facility, state of the art technology! We think so highly of UCSF as a whole that we travel 2+ hours to receive the best cute!Have had great experience's at UCSF on Parnasus with the births of two of our younger children. So we were really delighted at the opportunity to birth or twin boys. Five stars hands done from doctors, nurses, housekeeping, food service workers and so on, any and everyone we encountered in the 7 month period was two thumbs up!

Wonderful outpatient center. After my stay at Parnassus, I came here for my appointments. The staff is extremely caring and friendly, and have treated me better than I could’ve ever experienced. Everyone from IR (Interventional Radiology) to the surgical team have been extremely wonderful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my care. Might be 2 1/2 hours from where I live, but it’s worth the drive with the care they’ve been giving me. I love everything about this center.

Horrible horror story at radiology department. The nurse placed an IV in my senior citizen mom's arm without first verifying if the doctor would proceed with the CT scan. Go at your own risk. Probably using minorities as guinea pigs Overall this is one of the best hospitals but there is always room for improvement.

My body is rejecting the titanium in my knee and I have an infection because of this situation. My Doctor's at UCSF said they were going to clean out the infection and replace the plastic liner in my titanium knee. And that should work for proper healing of my knee. My Doctor removed the bandage's from my knee, and I was told that I would need Surgery to remove the infection and replacement of the plastic liner. He said My Surgery would have to be Thursday or Friday of this week, he would try and get me in the Surgery Department for those day's. Then he rebandaged my knee, and sent me home 🏠 So it was a very positive day for myself thanks to Doctor Jeff Berry MD, Orthopedic Specialist. Thank You UCSF for managing my health.

If I could give UCSF Maternity a rating of 10+, I definitely would. Highly recommending this place! Despite the 3+ hour drive from the central valley for medical care, it's absolutely worth it. Immense gratitude to the incredible medical staff who supported me throughout my pregnancy and delivery. Special thanks to each doctor, Valarie.H., Kelly, and postpartum nurses Connie.C, Ali, and others for their outstanding care. In case of a medical emergency, these doctors are heroes, and you'd be in good hands. Thanks to all clinical staff for assisting with appointment scheduling. UCSF, you're amazing! Your genuine care for patients shines through, and I appreciate all you do. Much love and thanks to everyone!

Nurses are kind, but when you try to advocate for yourself or comment on how a policy is wrong, they don’t listen. I have auditory processing problems which means I need my support system in the room. Covids policy isn’t allowing for my full support which in turns allows me to be safe. Through the disability act, certain policy’s have loop holes which means I should be allowed to have my support system with me so I can get proper care. This facility did not give me proper care. I highly recommend if you have something serious going on, go to cedar Sinai in Los Angeles. Make the effort to travel, this place will not give you the proper care you need when it comes to cancer.

I cannot express my gratitude enough, they have really take care of me everytime I end up here. All my operations have been unmatched by other hospitals and the staff is always in a good mood happy and enjoying their jobs. Which makes it easier to have such positive experiences. In the labor and deliver unit, I was beyond myself with gratitude for the staff. Even when I was vomiting and struggling they just kept a upbeat attitude and helped me. I wish I could name one or two amazing people but honestly I have encountered so many I do not know where to start so THANK YOU SOO MUCH UCSF MISSION BAY you guys made my family possible

Patient care is awesome.....plan for extra time if you need to self-park, the parking garage is a good walk to the facilities and can tale upwards of 10-15 minutes to find a spot. The do offer valet but not sure of cost.

Overrated medical facility. They apparently don't care if you have the right care unless you have an expensive insurance. Just another disappointment on the health care system.

Arrived at 3:38 for a 4pm MRI appointment. 4 hours later and I’m still yet to be seen. Once again, an utter failure of American healthcare. Shameful.

😐 I received an automated text message today asking me to write a review, so here it goes. My visit was both pleasant and absolutely horrible. Let’s see. I arrived at 4:00am having an asthma attack. I was obviously having trouble breathing but the front desk lady was taking her sweet time and was sup...

😠 If you need an ER don’t come here - literally any other hospital in the city is better. They don’t have a lot of services I ended up having to go to UCSF the next day since there’s no woman services on site for ultrasounds. Plus, the nurses that were working were super uncaring and made me feel lik...

😠 Great for medical care, and you'll need it. Because their billing system is unable to get things straight. This means you'll get massive bills that should have gone to your insurance company. Of course, UCSF billing won't have taken the time to actually talk to your insurance company to understand w...
