I traveled from North Carolina and did two different tours with them during my stay in San Francisco. The Napa valley and Muir Woods/Sausalito. I loved them both! The tours were very professional, punctual and safe. Great way to experience Cali without having to drive your own self all over the place. I highly recommend them, so much value for the cost.

I went on the Yosemite tour from San Francisco in September 2022. Yosemite was beautiful and a must see! Pick up was on time from the Union Square area and the tour guide, although friendly, seemed a bit pointless in having in my opinion. The whole 4 hour journey to Yosemite he was rambling about random things from pot holes to his hometown in Ireland while the vast majority of passengers just wanted to sleep. Not once did we get any informative information about Yosemite National park itself. When we arrived, we were dropped off and left for 3 hours to do our own thing and that was breathtaking! Yosemite truly is stunning! The journey home was much the same as the way out… more rambling from the tour guide, except in the final 10 mins before drop off he finally started to tell us some interesting information about San Francisco. I feel like I paid mainly for the transport and entrance fee to Yosemite, I don’t feel the tour guide was needed at all! At the end of the day, I didn’t really know an awful lot more about Yosemite than I did at the start and upon drop off the tour guide had the cheek to request a tip off me. It was a good day but I wouldn’t wish to be on his ‘tour’ again.

We went on the Muir Woods to Sausalito tour on 4/4 , leaving San Francisco at 10:40 am. A trip like this is made special if you have a great tour guide, we had one of the BEST tour guides ever!!!! I feel bad I don’t remember his name. He even made an extra stop at the Palace of fine arts, a huge bonus! We also got to Muir Woods a bit early so we had extra time there! It was the best!

This is possibly the best way to get to Yosemite National Park, BUT… the bus is far from luxury. The seats are more cramped than on a Southwest airplane. The seats are not comfortable and they do not have USB charging for your devices. I highly recommend carrying a charging device with you. The “expert and knowledgable“ tour guide was neither. He talked mostly about his childhood and some of it was not appropriate. Every word that was not about his early days was on a script he read from (does not know his history) He was not professional. the bus driver was great. If you don’t mind being uncomfortable and bored by the commentary, this is the best way to travel. I would recommend researching different lines to see if they really offer luxury! PS: the pickup location is confusing. We scoped out the location the night before. It’s a good thing we called to get information or we would not had an idea. That morning a lot of people were there, but no one was sure they were in the right place. There are not markings.

Great tour company and very professional! Always on time. You see so so much in one day with tour. You don't have to worry to drive they will take care of you and take you to the best places. Greg and Tomas( tour guide were great they know everything about the area). I highly recommend this tour. They are simply fenomenal! Tasting wine in 3 winery was absolutely fantastic! They gave us a lot of win( Sonoma and Napa) . The 17th Mile to Monterey is a plus. Gorgeous 😍 l had a lovely experience!!!

Had a really good time in the Yosemite day tour today with my family! Our tour guide Joseph was very very knowledgeable (The amount of knowledge he had was astounding, scary even) about San Francisco and California in general, and even though the bus ride to and fro was very long I enjoyed the commentary. I learnt a lot about the history of both Yosemite and San Francisco, which I really appreciate. Our bus driver Mei (Or was it Mie? I apologize for the spelling!) did a wonderful job driving through the winding roads and was very friendly, and I enjoyed talking to him as well during our stops. After the 3 hours of free time, we managed to make some extra stops on the way back for photos too, which was great! Joseph gave us some food reccomendations too as we returned back to the drop off point. Thank you for the great tour! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip here.

Our trip was through Viator, to Muir Woods. Our driver was a Latino guy that was hilarious. He navigated the streets of San Francisco with a steady stream of anecdotes, bits of history, and observations - all the while, never seeming to worry about traffic in the least. I'll never forget coming into a town prior to our arrival in Muir Woods; it was just past San Francisco. He said, "And now ... (dramatic pause) I give you ... Saucelito!" It was a pretty town, but I didn't think the food was very good at the restaurant we went to. It was a place supposedly known for its burgers, fish, and chips. The employees were rude as well. One note: if you're not back on the bus upon established departure times, you may have roughly 30 seconds to catch it. It waits for no one! Muir Woods was beautiful. I was relieved we had the driver we did because the winding road was very tight and filled with turns. The hike around the "long" loop was about 2 miles and was very mild, although it was described as more. We did see a wild otter which I hadn't seen since I was a child. All in all, a very good time. Definitely would recommend - especially if you don't want to worry about parking or traffic.

I am very pleased how things turned out on our tour(s). There was an issue with the Muir Woods tour the day we were scheduled. The man who was checking everyone in explained that the bus broke down and they had to go with a smaller bus. As a result, they needed people to go on a different tour. He offered us a city tour instead and Muir Woods (our original tour) the following day, but we really wanted to do Muir woods our scheduled day. However, he was able to make us a really good offer and it made being flexible worth it! The city tour (4 hours) was really great..the tour guide on the bus was so knowledgeable and well-spoken. We got a great "lay of the land." It's nice because there are restrooms at every stop! The Muir Woods / Sausalito tour was also wonderful. Our driver did a great job sharing information about the locations. He was also pretty entertaining! I wish we had more time at Muir Woods (could spend the whole day there!) I do recommend doing the ferry ride back after Sausalito, as it gives you a lot more time to walk around, eat, and shop. I'd use Gray Line again! Buses were also comfortable and clean!

This was a great day out visiting several wine tasting rooms, Sonoma Square for lunch (try the Tapas place), and Golden Gate Viewing Deck. The bus was prompt and choice of pick up points convenient, Bus Driver and Tour Guide (Antonio?) super friendly and informative. We really enjoyed ourselves and very glad we picked the Gray Line Wine Tasting Tour. Would highly recommend!

Our guide to Yosemite Joe and our driver Archie were fantastic. Very informative and about the city, the farms and the highway climb into the park. Joe made a point to engage with every guest on the tour. Archie got us there and back quickly so we even had time to get dinner before the pier closed.

Our guided trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito was incredible! It was the perfect amount of time in the woods, and our driver made sure we hit all the best spots in Sausalito. I will 100% go on another tour next time I'm in the Bay Area!

Fun tour to learn more about SF, Sonoma, and Napa. The wines started off strong at BR Cohn but fell in terms of quality. I would have preferred no break in Sonoma Square, as the trees really triggered my allergies and that was just a drain in terms of energy. Great trip for people 30+ not young people friendly. All wineries weren’t serving me and my party as well as other guests. But the photos look good.

We did the Napa/Sonoma Valley Wine Tour. I was pleased with the tour bus driver and the information given during the tour. The staff was very polite. Two of the three wineries we visited were fantastic. The last winery (BR Cohn) seemed annoyed we were there and their wine was just average IMO. The other two (Roche and Madonna) were fabulous.

If you're visiting San Francisco, you must take a tour our to Muir woods and Sausalito. Our tour guide knew a lot about the area and history. It was amazing to see a different view of California than the city. I recommend Grey Line and this tour.

Such a worthwhile trip to Muir Woods with Gray Line. Our driver Joe was highly knowledgeable about the greater San Francisco area and the environmental significance of Muir Woods, and had a great sense of humour which made the drive entertaining. We also got to stop at Golden Gate Bridge. He did a great job of navigating the bus along some particularly windy roads. Definitely glad to get the bus rather than arranging my own transport to the woods

We had a brilliant day trip to Yosemite with Gray Line Tours. Jay was a great tour guide, keeping us entertained throughout the journey as well as helping us navigate the incredible park. Can't recommend it enough as a must-do trip if you're in San Francisco

No regrets from taking this tour! My husband and I really enjoyed our time & all the wine! The bus host, Greg was amazing! Very sweet and beyond knowledgeable about San Fran & Napa/Sonoma, we learned so much! The host at each winery were great as well. The wineries were beautiful! We took many amazing pics. The cost is very well worth the money. The break down is about $40/per winery the transportation has to be pricey gas, driver and golden gate toll. The day went smooth with a perfect amount of time at each winery and the stop for lunch. We took the tour Sept 26th the bus was full about 40 guests. I expected it be would be much smaller but no complaints (we love meeting people). Some advice bring a coat for the San Fran weather when boarding and drop off, you won’t need any coats during the wine tours it was way warmer! You can leave bags and coats on the bus.

Tour was wonderful! I highly recommend this 1/2 day tour. We purchased over the phone and received a 15% discount. We also purchased without the ferry ride but ended up taking it back from Sausalito to Pier 41 & used our Clipper card which was only 8.75 per person. Timing was perfect, left at 740AM and took the 12:30PM ferry back. Joe, the bus driver and tour guide was awesome! We learned so many interesting facts and history about Muir Woods, Sausalito, and SF. Again, great experience for anyone who is looking for something nice to do for a 1/2 day while in San Fran.

What a fantastic tour service, and a great value. Joseph the guide, was spot on and had so much information to share. Brandon was a great driver who delivered such a calm and comfortable ride. We visited 3 different locations, as well as the square of Sonoma, where we stopped to have lunch. We are really looking forward to the next tour.

Wonderful way to enjoy the majesty of Yosemite, and the beautiful landscapes between San Francisco and Yosemite, (without having to drive!). You will have 3 hours in the park, but it's not enough time to take the Yosemite bus around the entire park. (Our professional tour driver had already driven and explained the major sites in the park; before we stopped for lunch, sightseeing, and hiking on our own.) The Lower Yosemite Falls was magical! Enjoy!

Did the tour for my birthday in December. What an amazing experience with our guide Joseph, was knowledgeable throughout the tour. Jack's ability to drive that giant bus through the many hills and narrow turns is expert level. I highly recommend this line and these hosts for touring SF.

👍👍 Overall this was a great way to experience Alcatraz. From the moment we got on the boat, to the moment we returned from the island, it was fun and educational.
