Great food and good service. This place is always busy so if you want to get a table you need to set aside some time to get in line. It's right next to the train station so they have to guard their parking pretty closely. But it's definitely worth the wait. I had the tortilla Burger and it was delicious. She had Christmas style enchiladas and loved every bite. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

The place was very easy to find. Foods were excellent southwestern dishes. Inside is very clean and bright. Waitress was very kind, sweet and friendly. I’ll surely come back here if I visit SantaFe again.

We took a large group of my family, 8 kids and 8 adults. They had a little room that fit us off the side so that we weren't bothered by others and we weren't bothering everyone else. I enjoyed the Chimayo plate. The sopapillas were huge. The margarita was good and they had a couple of beer options, not a lot but a couple. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

Yes, I got a margarita swirl, and yes, it changed my life. This is a wonderful stop on the margarita trail. The food was amazing, and the drinks were memorable! There was a wait, but we were able to go and come back and not have to wait in the packed lobby. This place is worth the wait. It’s really nice!

Walked in without a dinner reservation for 2 on a Sunday night. We were seated in under 5 minutes. The staff is very friendly. Great chips and salsa (good punch to it). We had the tamale/enchiladas...fantastic..so much food on the plate. We also had the Chalupas...wonderful. We both wish that we had more room in our stomachs. The puffy bread (Sopapilla) was absolutely awesome!! Served with honey butter (additional honey was on every table). Please check this place out great food and great staff!

After an entire day of exploring Santa Fe, we ended up here due to the fantastic reviews. I put my number down, and they told me the wait would be around 45 minutes. 20 minutes in, I go to check the virtual queue, and they lost my number. After asking them about it, I find out that they accidentally deleted my position. Luckily, they knew what my spot was and added me right back. But that wasn’t the end of the mediocre service. Once we got seated, it took what felt like years for them to finally come bring us some waters and take our order. It took another 30 minutes to get our food, which ended up being pretty meh. Everything was just fine, but the enchiladas were extremely dry. The meat inside was so dry and tough, you could barely even chew it. Otherwise the food was okay. Our waters were never refilled, no server came to even check on us. Then, we waited another 20 minutes to get our check. I had to physically get up and find a server to get our check. Honestly the service is unbelievably terrible, and the food was pretty mediocre. I would not recommend this to others. The okay food did not make up for the terrible service.

We decided to go here after hearing how good it was from a local. We had a 30 minute wait for our table, but there was plenty of seating and you could get a drink at the bar while we waited. Once seated, we saw a mariachi band (who was really good by the way) moving around the restaurant playing different songs. Our waiter was really friendly and fixed an order when it was incorrect without any issue. We had the Green Chile queso fries, Chicken flautas, Quesadilla, Steak combination, Sopapillas, and skinny margarita. Everything was really tasty!

Heavenly place for some fantastic SW food. Their red chile is traditionally made; full of flavor and a bit thick. Their green chile is just that; not a sauce, just fresh green chiles and a little spice. I enjoyed the Chimayo plate which had a pork tamale smothered with the red and a beef enchilada smothered with green. The accompanying whole pinto and rice were fabulous as well since everything is made in house. And to top everything off the sopapillas.....what can I say about them that hasn't already been said?! Have them with your meal or have them with some honey to finish it off; either way you will love the light, chewy texture of these pillows of hominess ❤️ A word on the cocktails. They aren't my favorites here. We tried a top shelf mojito, margarita, skinny marg, and frozen with a topper of Grand Marnier and of the four the frozen margarita was the best.

Love, love, love this restaurant! They have some of the best commercial New Mexican food...in generous portions. This is the best introduction to New Mexican food in Santa Fe, and if it's your first taste, start with a sopapilla drizzled with honey.

I can’t talk enough about this amazing place. Amazing food, amazing service(big shout out to Jacky) and everything super awesome. Our little kiddo messed up his salad with dressing and they replaced that with bigger portion at no additional cost. Highly recommended !!!

Tomasita's is hands down my favorite place to eat. I love the food and have not had any issues with service. The only thing is the wait time for a table but they allow you to get drinks from the bar as long as you wait inside. The parking can also be a pain. But, I always look forward to my next time going back. Love Tomasita's

First time trying New Mexican cuisine, it was such an amazing experience! The Sopaipillas and the honey butter it came with were the highlight. The ground beef burrito was super filling, albiet the chili was a little too spicy for my taste. You can ask for a bowl of sour cream to help with the spiciness. Everything came in massive portions, and I left feeling like I had just eaten the biggest meal of my life. The restaurant is huge! There were so many tables and rooms all filled with people. Cozy and family-friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, we were a group of 8 and she remembered all our orders without having to write anything down. Would definitely return if I ever come back to Santa Fe!

The greeting and service was excellent! The menu was just right, plenty of choices but not too many. They serve a sopapialla (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) with your meal that is fantastic. They serve it with a honey butter and there is honey on the table although I didn’t use any. The meal was really good but just a bit bland for my taste. I ordered one of the combinations. Everything just tasted similar to me not sure why. I would absolutely return again and try something different.

Good food overall. Very spicy. The Menudo was totally gross. Tasted like doo do. The rest of the food was great especially the blue corn items. Get the food Christmas style which means both green and red sauce. The Wait was kind of long but the restaurant is pretty popular. Authentic style New Mexico food. Get the bread, it was amazing.

New Mexico was a place full of surprises and the top of the list was the amazing food. Tomasita's served as the epitome of what impressed me about the Santa Fe food scenes. Each place has its own "secret" chile recipe and tomasita's red chile was magically addictive. Loved the sopapillas that somehow worked really well with both the Chiles and the honey! Overall great food, great drinks, and a definite must try if you're in the area. Might be better to have a reservation for dinner.

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and enjoyed the experience, overall. We waited about an hour to get seated, and another for our food to be served. Because of how popular it is, I decided to give a list of some pros and cons: Pros: kind/professional service, delicious food, good for certain dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten free), staff was knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and ways to accommodate them. Cons: exterior/parking area needs maintenance, hard to get parked at times, too busy, long waits, no reservations allowed, name on queue only allowed for large parties (10+ people).

This restaurant was recommended by a local friend. The place was super crowded, but it was worth it. I'm gluten-sensitive and lactose intolerant so it's quite hard for me to eat Mexican food. The server and the kitchen staff are quite aware of people who has food allergies so they gave me allergen-free options instantly. We had a great time there and the food was great!!!

Everything about this place will be five stars for me. Yes it was warm, but the food and service were excellent. Combination plate is a go to, and warm sopapillas with honey butter are delicious. It was my dads 72nd birthday and they had mariachis playing music Throughout the restaurant. It was awesome

Recommended by native New Mexican. It was great!! I ordered chile relleno and I enjoyed every bite of it. It looked different from any other chile relleno but taste better than any others! Side of chile relleno was corn and beans which I loved. Their sopapilla was absolutely delicious. It comes with honey butter and you must try it. They have frozen margaritas and it looked so good. I highly recommend this place!!

My new gold standard for New Mexican food. Well done! The red chili sauce was just right. A bit of kick but only to give flavor, not punish the eater. Will come here again the next time I’m in Santa Fe.

Now this is authentic Northern NM food! Chile was delicious, food was delicious, service was excellent. The sangria was good (not too strong) and was the perfect pair for the meal. 5+ stars for everything

We ordered Enchiladas and Burritos and they were delicious with the red chile and green chile though they were a bit hot for us. We went on a Wednesday and entered the restaurant sharp at 11 AM when they opened it. Almost all tables were occupied in 20 minutes. Their hospitality is good, food is good and they served it fast. They have enough parking. We enjoyed our meal and the visit.

This is a first come first serve place, and we'll worth the wait! Great food, great service and great drinks! Organized wait times and even at its busiest we only waited 5 min! Clean bathrooms and amble parking even for handicapped. Conveniently located at the rail yard!

Great food. Best sopapilla I've ever had. The piñon cheesecake was delicious. Well packed for delivery and made per requests (chiles on side).

Very cute historic restaurant with good food. We love sopapillas with honey butter, chips with salsa cheese & guacamole. I ordered stuffed sopapillas with beef and wow very spicy!! I am Korean who is very used to spicy food but still it is pretty spicy. It somewhat similar to Korean dish. I am just happy to experience traditional food here.

Great local restaurant that serves New Mexican cuisine. I got the Tesuque steak, it was delicious, although I declined the red or green chile.Chile. The frozen margaritas were delicious.

Very good Mexican food. Had a bit of a wait but then got seated quickly. Once we ordered it didn't take long for the food. Lots of menu items. Our waitress was very helpful. Nice ambiance. About 900 km walk from the plaza. Totally worth it.

About a 15 minute wait to be seated, but not a very long wait to get food. Chips, salsa, guacamole and queso - or “the works” - was good. Neither my burrito nor cheesecake were very good, but I can’t really place why it wasn’t for the burrito. For the cheesecake, it was because there were seeds it something in it, and I didn’t quite care for that. Everyone else at my table said their entrees were extremely good, though, so I’m not making this rating very low. Service was really good too.

This is one restaurant where we always take our out of state visitors to when they want to taste authentic Mexican food. Maybe we were lucky but we have never encountered unfriendly staff here and the food has been consistently good at very reasonable prices. Their sopaipillas are the best in town in my opinion!

Stopped here when we arrived in Santa Fe. It was really busy so I expected a wait but we were seated right away. Our server was nice and the food came out quick. My daughter loved her nachos. The guacamole was incredible. The blue corn chicken enchiladas with the red chili sauce was really good. Lots of heat but not so overpowering that it drowns out the flavor. The green chili sauce was good too. I appreciated how they put it on the side for my daughter so she could test the spice level. The complementary sopaipillas were amazing. So light and fluffy. In TX they're served with honey but here they came with honeybutter that was really good. All in all it was a great experience.

Amazing introduction to New Mexican food. The Tuesday Arisco plate with red and green chile was absolutely amazing. Even better - it was dog friendly outside on the patio (it was a little cold during the winter but they have heaters which was a huge plus).

Had an outstanding lunch at Tomasita's. My friend recommended the stuffed sopaipilla (ground beef) served Christmas style (half green and half red sauce) and it was wonderful, the best I've ever had.

My family and I dined here for lunch after Saturday's Farmer's Market. There was a 20 minute wait for our family of 5, which wasn't that bad. Our server was friendly and efficient. The portions were generous. The food tasted decent but it wasn't over the top like I had expected. Albeit, Silver Coin margarita was exceptionally strong! The alcohol was definitely present. We ordered Carne Adovada. The meat was flavorful but dry. Tamale Blue Plate was good. Wednesday Special Blue Enchilada wasn't that great. The chicken was dry and lacked seasoning. The red chile gave the dishes a nice bit of heat. The complimentary sopaipillas were a nice finisher to the meal which was served with yummy honey butter.
