I stayed there for 4 nights with my wife. It stinks sewer very strongly in the room , we requested to change to another room. we got a lower level room (no window) but the hostal rejected any proposal to adapt the price accordingly, this is not fair. I would not recommend this hotel, even if the location is good. The client is not considered as he should be.

Nothing more than an hostel, nothing less. But the location is the most strategic. You are literally on the Ramblas, at few meters from the metro, Boqueria Market and the Gothic Quarter. The hostel itself is very quiet and you can sleep well despite the movida.

Nice budget hostel in La Rambla area. We lived room no. 205 for 3 nights. Room service was day after day and wash room was attach. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness was quite ok according to budget.Metro and bus station were within 2 minutes walking distance. Most of the tourist attractions and shopping complex and fruits market were within walking distance.

I wanted to stay there for a night but after 2 hours I started itching when I saw the bed sheet then I found bugs from inside that bit me due to which I started itching all over my body when about it I told the staff then they said it's not our fault we don't know where it came from you can check out if you want and I had to checkout from there at 3:00 PM

There were bed bugs on the bed and they bit my friend his face is full of bites and when we asked them to clean the room they said the bugs may have came from outside or it was allergic reactions and rejected there were bugs even when we showed them the bugs.they changed the sheets eventually but they were still there

"The hotel is a disaster, the hotel room didn't have an air conditioner nor a shower although the room was meant to be used by 3 people. There was no internet reception in our room so we had to go to the hallway to connect to the internet, the hallway had a microwave which is good for people who want to warm their food. The night was a catastrophe because the air was so humid and hot inside, the other people in the other room were extremely loud and the noises from the street came into our room although the windows were closed. We complained and we moved to downstairs, they gave us two rooms one for me and the other bigger one for the rest, it was a huge relief that the two separate rooms had efficient air conditioners and the wifi was working on both rooms well. The bigger room had a shower and a toilet but the smaller one didn't have any of that. But on the night the hotel staff were extremely loud as they listened to Indian music, talked very loud with their phones, walked around talking and constantly closed and opened the doors like they were looking for something. Maybe the only pros were that the hotel was so close to everything, the bus station was on same street next to the hotel building door, the metro stations were across the street and the main city was like 15 minutes from us. The very cheap and big grocery store Carrefour was close to us about 10 minutes of walking, don't go to the other small "supermarkets" since they are very expensive."

Location is right in the middle of Las Ramblas so depends on what you're looking for the location is fine. The room I had was very basic but fine for a night.
