The hotel was modern and the price low. The rooms were clean and also very comfortable, we had hot water all the time, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the center of the town (Bash carsija). It was 3min apart. I have read the previous reviews from 3 or 4 years ago and it wasnt like that at all. Obviously they are improved a lot

Besides the location (it is located in the old town uphill), the place does not look good. The bathroom is a mess, few things actually work in the room (Tv did not work, toilet barely worked, some of the lights did not work, the telephone was just for display). The parking is on narrow streets around the hotel, you must leave your key at the reception desk and they keep moving your car every day to acomodate others. At best a 2-star hotel. I do no recommend it.

I believe my bedroom used to be a bathroom. It's basically a shower, there were nozzles and tiles. Our bathroom door handle was broken. The shower had no curtain or door and the shower hose holder was broken so the hose needed to be held the whole time and if put down water would go everywhere. In my room a wardrobe was blocking a big window that looked into the hallway. I could hear EVERYTHING. I could hear people speaking in the lobby as if they were next to me. I got a small blood stain on my sheet from a nosebleed I have which I couldn't wash because they turn the water off for 5-6 hours in the middle of the night!! They made up the other person's bed in the room and didn't touch mine, never mind replacing the sheets, they didn't MAKE THE BED. Unless you can't spring for better don't go here. At all.

Very close to city center and friendly stuff. Room was disappointing , uncomfortable beds, very thin pillow, small towels, door is terrible, always have a problem to open it. Bathroom was not good either.

The area is a popular one just above Baščaršija. The staff was friendly and breakfasts were quite good. Unfortunately these were almost the only positives of this accommodation. Almost nothing at this hotel did not work or was not in accordance with the pictures. My room was very small, without other furniture than bed, night tables, very minuscule wardrobe and a TV table. It was in the attic and I had to move around bended forward, including in the bathroom (and I am rather small). Half of the equipment was somehow broken, starting with the key, lightbulbs, shower stall, etc. The internet connection was unreliable. I would really recommend to everyone to look elsewhere. You can find better places, where the management/owner cares about the guests...

Excellent location, very close to town. The rooms arent great. The breakfast is basic (cheeses, eggs, fruits, breads).

Staff and location of this hotel are amazing! But... the room as such was terrible. It was very dirty, uncomfortable, noisy and hot inside. This accom can be ok for a boys trip when you want to have a good location and just below average place to sleep during night.

Hotel has very good location. However being in densely built up area, I was happy with mini car I had. And that goes for accessing and parking as well. Service was friendly and helpful. My room under the roof - very basic, but also very affordable. Things to improve - shower curtain, toilet paper roll holder, refill of shower amenities, fix roof windows, trash bin in the room, new mattress,…

Excellent location just a few minutes away from the old city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking we were lucky to get good parking and staff helped is to ensure we had a parking spot. The rooms was clean and nice view bog opened window However We had to ask for towels and glasses, no kettle no fridge the bathroom was extremely clean but no shower curtain meant water went everywhere and no squeegee to clean the floor. Price was reasonable. Would return Great for a one night stay to explore the city.

Great location, a few minutes walk to the city centre. Rooms were little bit runned down and there were signs of break-ins on our door but overall it was ok. The parking is HORRIBLE, streets are narrow. Would not recommend to park there if you have bigger car

Don't stay in there, the rooms are tiny, the bathroom is in terrible condition and the walls in the rooms are filthy, not recommended at all.

If there was zero stars I would give ZERO to this hotel. Rooms are dirty and Disgusting I was scared for my kids to take off their shoes. Bathrooms had cracked tiles and no essentials in there what so ever. There is no hair dryer or soap in the showers or paper in the bathroom. Entire hotel smells like smoke and body odors. Very, very bad ownership. I stayed at smaller places in Sarajevo before that had everything you need to spend the night.

In my own opinion it's an excellent hostel for it's price (at least when I was where in July 2018) with a comfortable bed (at least in my room). However only payments over 30 € are possible to pay by card and alcohol is prohibited there (but for some people it can be an advantage)

We stayed for 3 nights and had an awful experience. Originally we booked a room for 6 people and they split us up into two rooms that were very far away from each other. The man at the front desk was very unkind and unhelpful, and wouldn't even listen to us or answer our questions about why. We thought there was a complimentary breakfast (which was gross) but it turned out that they charged us 3 Euros per day. Then we specifically told them we were leaving at 7 and we needed our car out of their lot by then. However when we went down at 6:50 nothing was being done. They didn't end up getting the car out until 8:00am. Also, The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I recommend staying somewhere else.

Hotel itself is nice and clean, staff is great, helpful and polite. What I didn't like was that room was not even remotely isolated from outside light and sound. I could hear everything that was happening on my floor and in the lobby and curtains are way too transparent and didn't even cover the windows completely.

Hayatt is a small modest hotel , but very close to old city, good for a budget traveller .Оne gets quite good value for a very minimal payment here .I do believe that we have to understand that Hayatt 's staff , as all this country is struggling after the war , working long hours and trying to do their best for a very small salaries , being always very kind and positive to guests ,very friendly and helpful..in all cases and times doing their best for us feel like at home .We should be, I think ,therefore..to be a bit less demanding, as the payment is really low. I believe it is a very good option for a short stay.. with a really friendly staff. I am very grateful to them for their kindnesses, patience and for a nice home atmosphere and wish them all the best in these not easy times for Bosnia , and for them too after all what they and their families have experienced .... so personally I have a big sympathy to Bosnian people for all huge difficulties, they had too overcome , remaining very kind and nice despite all problems From all my heart I wish them good health , good luck and God blessings ! 🙌♥️🙋 if

Fair, cosy and warm, a bit outdated, could use refreshing. But totally makes it up with location and price that can't be beat!

Our door handle seemed like it was going to fall out, the shower nozzle was broken so it had to be held. You could hear the old men outside talking since 6am. And let’s not mention the beds, they were so uncomfortable had the worst sleep my whole body aches. They whole hotel needs updating

Don't let the name fool you, it's nothing or no where near Heyatt hotel! The lobby is very nice with large windows that allow plenty light however the room smelled like mold, the bathroom fan did not work (no other vent available) staff carelessly left the room key in the door. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

No reservation possibility. You are on your own. Neither if you call and book a room. They sell what they got. Classical hunt in the fog. They will screw you down no matter what.

  • 5/5 Bruno B. 5 years ago on Google
Incredibly kind and caring staff, there was a mixup in our reservation and we got a better room for the same price. The rooms are clean and comfortable if nothing spectacular. Fully recommended ! Best regards to the staff ❤️
