AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! I have NEVER stayed at a worse hotel! We booked a room for two nights. The first morning when we tried to shower, the shower valve was broken and the handle put on backward; there was only cold water or scalding hot. When I called the front desk for assistance, I was told the maintenance man wouldn't be in for another hour (9:00am), so we suffered through cold showers. When maintenance arrived at 9:30, he confirmed exactly what I told him. He said we could move to another room. When I asked about discounting my room (we were paying almost $150 per night including taxes), he called the owner and the owner said NO. We returned a few hours later, and we were told we could move to another room. I asked them to make sure it was clean and there were no problems. I was assured it was fine. There were holes (from tears and cigarette ashes all over the bedspread. The bathroom door was split and broken in several places. The floor was dirty. The bathroom ceiling was peeling A LOT. There was urine on the back of the bathroom door where it appeared a dog had been locked in and used the door as a fire hydrant. It was awful!

This place is a cool layed back spot.. After a long drive this place is just what I needed. Helpful & friendly staff, clean bed linens , clean rags clean towels, plenty of room in the room to move around. Functioning TV set I fell asleep watching the ghost busters.

Old building. Not cleaned! Looked as if they just changed towels on the shelf sloppily. Not cleaned carpet floor, shower, and toilet, bed sheets had stains and found a dirty pile of laundry in the cabinet! Not to mention everywhere reaked of Marijuana! Canceled and moved on! Front desk guy was nice, understanding and helpful though.

This was the dirtiest room ever. The bed was not made and there was no towels or wash clothes. Upon further checking there was mold around the tub and the bathroom door jam was busted. No pillow cases and the pillows appear to have mold on them and there was some kind of stains on the comforter. I pulled back the sheets and there was a cigarette butt and roaches in the bed. NASTY. The clerk never apologized or anything. Offer to give me another room but not a REFUND. NO THANK YOU

The front staff person was wonderful. I would have left had it not been for him! I booked this through bookings.com and I will not use them again. I wanted to upgrade and it was not possible because it would have involved contacting them and i did not want the hassle. The motel is old but clean. it would be easy to see the old as dirty. However, I could tell the staff was doing the best they could with what they had to work with. The one thing i was annoyed with is that I thought I was getting a desk. That's what i saw in the pictures, and there was no way to work that out. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower worked great.

This place is horrible the room was over priced it smelled like urine and cigarettes the bathroom wasn't cleaned nor the fridge the comforter smelled like old feet the a.c. kept cutting off had to keep hitting the reset button Spoke with Manager was very rude did not care that I was complaining nor the fact I was miserable. I asked could I be compensated for the above mentioned discrepancies and he said it was nothing he could do it was the worst experience in the world please go to the one Motel 6 on Stephenson Ave you will love it clean nice people great atmosphere rooms are better

I stayed in a lot of motel 6 locations but this was one of the worst !!! I needed a place to just crash for few hours. I arrived at 10pm ..I would run if it was sooner and had time to find different place. The outside of the building looks well maintained. The reception looks clean & updated. BUT The room was discussing. The seat of the toilet was so dirty- you could peal the dirt - floor in the bathroom had huge dust bunnies & crumbs of unknown origin, shower floor looked like a huge whole was patched with cement. Vanity had dust, crumbs and shaved hair all around. I feel like puking just writing about it. When we turned on the heat it smelled like cat urine. The bed linens looked like someone just slept there and sheets were just smoothed out- very wrinkled and had stains of some pink sticky substance. When I complained at the front desk that the room is dirty he just said: sorry- I do not have any other rooms":.... after I insisted he changed the sheets. I slept in my yoga pants & hoodie on my head, did not use the bathroom & left early am as I could not stay there any longer. This place was not worth a penny. This place should be closed due to health concerns...

As far as price, location, staff, amenities, and overall value, this place isn't at the bottom of the barrel. Not quite. Our blanket had holes burned into it, our door got stuck and was not closed when we thought it was, and our kitchenette was not clean when we arrived. Maybe this is just me, but I also thought that by getting a room with a kitchenette we would have a set of dishes in the room as well. No such dishes were had. The bathroom had a bar of soap, two bath towels and two hand towels. The website advertises an outdoor pool, but it had none. On the plus side, the motel was a shoft 15-minute drive from the city of Savannah, had free breakfast and wifi, and is dog friendly, allowing up to two dogs for no fee. Unfortunately, nowhere on their website is it listed that the dogs must be "small", though size is up to the discretion of the manager, and they must have a kennel and be in it when alone in the room. These are not major issues for most, but it's important information to have beforehand. All in all, I would not recommend this motel. There are other motels and hotels in the area that outshine this one in every way.

I've stayed in about a dozen Motel 6s across the US and this one was the worst. There were splatter/stain marks on the bathroom door that looked like dried blood. The bathroom shower was disgusting. The floor was in horrible shape and moved up and down. There were at least 2 cigarette burn holes in the bedspread and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but I could tell that someone had smoked in there recently. At to top it off, I got woken up at 6am by a chirping noise. I think the battery died in the smoke detector. Overall, not a good experience at all. I told the front desk clerk and gave him my phone number. He said the manager would call me, but nobody called.

My husband and I came down to Savannah with our 2 dogs. He wanted to do something nice for me because he knows I love ghosts and this is the place to find them. We weren't in the room more then 2 minutes and a man just walked in unannounced. That worried me. The the pillows were very flat so my husband went to ask for one more. The front desk said oh they only allow 3 to a room. Whoever was above us was walking around like An elephant. Now back to my dogs. Front desk said that we have to bring our dogs with us everywhere and if we leave them in the room we will be asked to leave the property with no refund. Well there goes my ghost hunting. Worst motel 6 I have stayed at that ever said that to me. Drugs. going on right in front of my face. Hookers. Crack heads. I will never stay here ever again.

The staff seemed nice enough, and the bed was comfortable, but we found a dead roach on the floor and a live one walking across the wall. The next morning we noticed about a quarter of an inch gap between the bottom of the door and the jam, which would allow for all kinds of bugs, and even small mice, to enter the room. I never stay at low budget motels, but was convinced to try it. I will now never stay at another Motel 6 or other low budget motels.

Cigarette burns in comforter on bed, microwave filthy, nasty filthy throughout. Refused clean towels, did not touch room. Came in at 11 pm from day in Savannah and room not touched. Did not make bed, take used towels. Front desk refused to provide clean towels, said house keeping left and could not get. Door to bathroom falling apart. Got to room at 11 pm to find that desk clerk refused clean towels. Finally brought to room, and towels stained black looked filthy. Took pictures. Could not get another room since 11 pm and 4th of July weekend, others booked. Never stay here. Pictures are photo shopped of this dump at a cost of 87.25 per room and we booked 2 rooms.

This room was terrible. There was hair all between the sheets. We asked for a non-smoking room.. it was extremely "smokey." The comforter had cigarette burns all in it, and the mini fridge was in the middle of the floor, unplugged, and stinky. The sink was clogged with who knows what, and the shower was disgusting! I would not recommend staying here by any means.

Just checked in today and all though it is very convenient for us it is very unsatisfactory. The refrigerator was frozen over and there were cockroaches behind it. There is no transitioning strip between carpeting and tile flooring. Bathroom counter was not clean and we wanted to get something to drink and vending machines were completely empty. I don't think we will be staying here again.
