Luckily we made a reservation. We didn't expect to be this busy on a Thursday night. We ordered two virgin pina colada, we found it to be too sweet. The price is only $6 per glass. They gave us a loaf of bread and whipped butter for free. I know some restaurants stopped giving out free bread. I am glad that they are still doing it. The bread was piping hot and the whipped butter was tasty. We ordered, lobster bisque, a prime rib, New York sirloin and lobster and steak. We found the lobster bisque was a little too tasty. Three of us shared this appetizer. We shared the dished. We agreed that the prime rib is tender but didn't have much "beef" taste. We preferred either the New York sirloin or the sirloin steak. If you are there to do a celebration such as birthday, make sure you mention it to the waiter or waitress. They will give you a slice of cake for free.

Had a family dinner here tonight. Everyone was happy with their food and we all left very satisfied. We had two servers the main server was Melissa and she was excellent. She was friendly, kind and attentive but not overbearing. We didn't have apps but did enjoy coffee and desert. Higher end restaurant so higher price but the food and service matches that price. Would I go back? Yes. We all had something different, chicken and ribs, sirloin, salmon, prime rib, lobster. Was a great dinner. Recommended.

My partner and I came for our anniversary and we had a lovely experience! Reservations are a must because it is so busy on Saturdays. Our waitress was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, and was so sweet in wishing us a happy anniversary. Food was delicious and portion sizes were good. I find that The Keg always provides excellent service considering the large amount of money you have to pay but this location at 60 Estate Drive really upped their game! The level of service is just outstanding! After placing our order, we got all our appetizers just 10 minutes after. When our entries arrived, we didn't have any steak knives but our server already got some for us. We never had to ask for any refills of water and they even gave us a take box for our leftovers. All our needs were taken care of and we didn't need to ask for anything. What I really noticed about this restaurant is how well the staff work with each other. Usually, everybody manages their own station and it ends up that if your server is busy, you'll have to wait until they're free before you can ask for anything. But this location, we had multiple people come by our table either to deliver us our food, to clear the dishes or just to check if we needed anything. This kind of team dynamic left a great impression on me since I felt that we always had someone available to us. And of course the food was just amazing as always! I ordered my usual, the 18oz prime rib dinner with caesar salad and twice baked potato. My wife ordered the 8oz teriyaki sirloin. We also had the lobster bisque soup as well as an ice cream cake for dessert. Wow! Again, the food was just amazing as always! I definitely will return to this location and I definitely recommend going to this location! The level of service you receive is just absolutely outstanding! Amazing birthday celebration! We booked a table for 16 celebrating mom and brothers birthday and the Keg was so hospitable and truly delivered on food quality and generous servers. I used to work at the keg many years ago at a downtown location but the Scarborough Keg is superior!! It was the best steak at the Keg I’ve ever had, and the very best calamari. I think we ordered every app on the menu, drinks all around, everyone’s steak and meals came out perfect it was a home run. We had a hectic table, 16 of us, some of late, some of us too loud, dad was a load lol, everyone paid separately which is a pain - but our servers were beyond patient and kind. Shoutout to Wayne and Olivia for their amazing service and accommodating our craziness above and beyond. We were certainly the worst party, I apologize - your kindness and flawless service were truly recognized and appreciated. So glad we chose the Keg, can’t wait to come back for another rib steak, calamari and drinks with a couple friends. Thanks to everyone at the Scarborough Keg!

Celebrated birthday here. Our seat was a bit tight like really doing a tetris kind of way just to fit everything in our table. Anyway, we ordered appetizers that are really good. We also ordered steak and some salad. Of course the food is great and the ambience is really for any occasion. Had a little incident but the manager was really kind and sweet to check on us. Overall, we really had a good time at The Keg.

Let me start by saying that I eat at the Keg at least 2 times a month, at various locations, but this was my first time at this one in many many years. I always order the prime rib, medium rare, along with the roasted Brussels sprouts, for pickup. When I gave my name when I arrived for pickup, the hostess checked her tablet then walked away without saying a word. When she returned with my food, I checked it before leaving and the prime rib was over cooked, medium well. I brought it back inside and informed the hostess and they did apologize and bring me out a new piece that was cooked correctly. Once I got home (less than 10 minutes), that's when I realized the state of the Brussels sprouts. They were mushy and seemed to have been boiled instead of roasted. The flavour was off and I wasn't able to eat them at all. The prime rib was "okay" not the flavourful, tender piece of meat that I'm used to getting at the other locations. Also, the butter that came with the bread tasted like whipped canola oil, no butter flavour. Overall quite disappointing considering the price point. I won't be returning to this location despite the close proximity to my home.

Went there for dinner and we had the best server ever, Justice. I ordered the prime rib and when it came, it looked a bit different to what I normally get. We finished most of our apps and started on the prime rib. We had a very hard time cutting it, I flipped it around and it was the end piece. I didn't want to say anything but I really couldn't cut through the piece, even using a lot of force didn't cut it. I finally said something and the server was more than happy to replace it. However, they ran out of prime rib, so they comped us a new steak. Our server was friendly and professional. She anticipated my needs and went above and beyond my expectations. Our experience there was amazing. I will definitely choose this location for all my future Keg dining. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This our go to place for all our special occasions! Came for our 24th wedding anniversary! Our waitress treated us like royalty! It seems as though that every time we come to this Keg she is there. Alway great!! The food and the service we received from the other servers were great, they took great care of us.

Great to be back to The Keg on Estate Dr. From the hosts to the waitress the service is always Fantastic! Started with the Baked Brie with Pesto and Pepper Jelly. KEG Classic New York Steak 12oz with Garlic mash and grilled Veggies and starter Caesar Salad. Washed it down with A Billy Minor Pie and a Coffee. Food was slightly rushed but I can understand it being a Saturday and wanting a high turnover. Overall the rush was shadowed by great staff. Attentive and polite crews always make the food taste better. They have a Kids Menu for the little people. Little people had fun too!

Haven’t been to the keg since the pandemic. They followed protocol and made sure customers felt comfortable. The waitress was very considerate and never rushed us to our order and always greeted us warmly. The Brie was delicious and steak was good as usual. Would definitely go back

Always hits the spot. Service is great, Steak was great, bread and butter are phenomenal and the escargot can’t be missed. Calamari is also massive portion. I got the beef Wellington which was on special. It was okay but their traditional steaks are better in my opinion.

The environment was nice and clean, the food was delicious, and our waitresses (Nicolina & Christina) and the staff here were outstanding. Came here for a cousin's birthday and had an amazing experience. The Rib steak was cooked to perfection and the wine was great like always but what topped it off was our waiter, Matthew. The experience we had with Matthew had us all agreeing that this was the best experience all of us ever had at a restaurant. When you go her see if you can have Matthew as your waiter... believe me it's worth it.

**Edit to add - the manager reached out to us and was more than accommodating! They offered us a meal on the house and when we came in for that free meal they were so kind and triple checked that everything was okay with our food and service. My husband and I go to the keg a lot and we have been to this location many times as it’s the closest to us. Don’t think we will be going back to this one. The food quality has gone way down. Our green beans smelt and tasted sour (which means they have gone bad) they were also brown and shrivelled. So not sure how they were even approved to be on someone’s plate. My husbands steak was also very tough. We were offered a free desert to accommodate.. I’m sorry but I didn’t want dessert and nothing else was offered from them. Not the type of meal my husband and I should receive for the prices they charge.

Food came out 1.5 hours later and steaks were cold. Manager did credit our appetizers and gave us free dessert. He also said we could have whatever drinks we wanted but we passed on that. On a normal day it wouldn't have mattered as much but it was my birthday celebration and dinner did come around 10:30pm which was very late because the order was made at the same time as the appetizer order. Will go back but at another location.

Favorite steakhouse. Everything was exceptional, steaks, desserts, ambience service... great experience. Tip: ask for the lobster cheese appetizer, it's not on the menu, portion is small but very tasty.

Dined in at this location last night and was extremely underwhelmed with the food. My friend ordered chicken and ribs which did not look appetizing to say the least. She also had a very dry biscuit served alongside that was clearly burnt. I ordered an 8oz sirloin steak medium with mashed potatoes. My steak was really bloody and not tender at all. The steak was super tough and hard to eat so I had to send it back. My friend then awkwardly waited on me to get another steak so her food was freezing by the time my steak finally arrived 15-20 minutes later. Both of us agreed that the only thing we really enjoyed were the rosè sangrias they were really delicious! (Bumping up to 2 stars) Other than that we said we could’ve just brought takeout from elsewhere to my apartment and been more satisfied for less money.

Actually disappointed. We celebrate our anniversary every year at The Keg.. this was an extra special anniversary as mentioned during the reservation. We have been pleasantly surprised in past anniversaries with a congratulatory dessert/pie/cake slice to share ..not this time..a very special occasion for us however we were offered nothing but the bill. I think it's time we took our business elsewhere.

Steak is always cooked right. Never had a bad meal here at this location. If you are celebrating a birthday - you may get a slice of cake.

Great food. Amazing service. Nice and classy ambience. We went on a birthday dinner. The server brought special ice-cream cake for birthday girl, lit a candle and sang happy birthday with us for her. It was a perfect dinner experience.

Amazing taste and filling portions. Ordered the GRUYÈRE MUSHROOM DIP for starters. The dip was very tasty and the bread complimented very well with it (forgot to take a pic) Just an FYI, the bread has some sweetness to it. The portion of the dip could have been increased as we still had bread remaining and no dip. For entrée, we ordered the TOP SIRLOIN 6oz, BLUE CHEESE FILET 6 oz and BLACKENED CHICKEN with Brussels sprouts. Portion size is huge for the entrée. 1 star less for the quantity of the dip and the overall prices.

Great for group gatherings, especially for birthdays given the “1 free dessert on birthday” policy. Have been here a few times. Food is always decent no matter what we ordered. Service is good but occasionally slow. Experience has always been consistent and is consistent with other keg locations. Example: We went at prime time with no reservations, the staff did their best to get us seated quickly (ie. offered for us to sit at the bar first, then once a table opened up they offered to move us). When you are seated however, food can be a bit slow to come out - expect around 30 to 45 minutes wait.

My wife and I visited this Keg a few weeks ago on a Saturday to celebrate a special occasion. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant, the only reason I gave the restaurant and service 4 stars was because we never received our bread. It was understandable for a busy Saturday night and when we asked about it. Our waitress apologized and promptly delivered some bread to eat while we waited for our food. I ordered the steak special, Kansas City New York steak and my wife had the strip loin steak both were delicious though the strip loin steak seemed a bit small. The Miner pie was delicious and a great way to end the night. Highly recommend this Keg location.

Going to this Keg for over 20 years & it continues to amaze me at the level of service you will receive. They seem to step it up every time. Most of the people working there have been there over 10 years & they treat you like family. I had the prime rib with a starter of Caesar & fries. We finished the meal off with the Billy Miner cake!

The service is really good here and the food was someone ok as some elements of the plate were a bit stale and greasy (crispy onions). Im guessing to come earlier to get the best quality products l. Peppercorn steak is really good, baked brie was also delicious, and don't forget to order the Billy Miner Pie to complete the experience.

Free bread came to our table maybe 10 minutes after we sat, with a tiny butter container. There needs to be more butter. Also, they only gave us one bread - isn’t it endless? My boyfriend ordered the peppercorn steak well done, and the server brought it to us with visible blood on the surface. Once cut, it was ever more apparent it wasn’t well done. A manager (I assume as she was dressed differently) came to our table after we received the steak second time around, who said she was sorry about the mistake and would be back to check up on us, but never came back. The steak also had a bitttt of pink still in it. Well done means very blatantly that there is no pink. Calamari is always bomb.

The server was super friendly but the service was BRUTAL cause he clearly had to serve way too many tables (not his fault). The entire experience took almost 3 hours. The food was below what we expect from a Keg location. Also the general atmosphere is not the same as other Keg locations.

Went here last night to celebrate a constant postponed birthday dinner for my hubby. We took the 630 reservation and our server was amazing. I wish I could remember her name but she was very attentive, sweet and always check on us. The Keg is our staple steakhouse when we want something a bit fancy for date night. This is our second time at this location and always had the best service out of all the Keg chains we've been to. The doorman was also nice and friendly 😊! I hope you guys can find out who our waitress is and give her a huge compliment for us!

Just had the most amazing experience here last night. Our server was Patrick, and at the beginning of our meal, he gave the most amazing introduction of the steaks that The Keg has to offer. Without a doubt, it was the most informative but also perfectly delivered chunk of information, and I felt that Patrick was really invested in us choosing something we enjoyed off the menu. Our party also had a few allergies, and when we told Patrick, one of the managers, Nicole, was sent to us to discuss them further. Nicole was also very wonderful to chat with and very genuinely concerned about us having the best experience. The food was delicious!!! So shout out to all the chefs in back as well!! My family and I have come here many times before, but this experience last night was truly exceptional.

To be very frank on my opinion,its my wife's birthday today and decided to have take out dinner.Our order didnt come out the way it should have.Asked for 2 orders of sliders but came out with sliced rare beef.Sliders are supposed to be mini burgers and not sliced prime rib.With all that the food comes out cold. To tell you the fact is I dont know why people get fascinated with The Keg Steakhouse and Bar.I work in an Elite Club and I appreciate the food very much at the Club that's given to our Members.When its Jumbo Shrimp it should be Jumbo Shrimp and not baby shrimp.Very disappointing Its called Surf &Turf.Anyway not complaining but just to tell people not to get fooled and check your order when it's necessary.

Went to The Keg last weekend and had an incredible experience. First and foremost our server Matt was incredible! He was courteous and friendly and made our entire dining experience that much better. His tenure really showed, as he recommended an incredible wine that paired perfectly with our tastes and our meal. He was also very dedicated to making sure we had the best experience while we were there, the whole table agreed we've seldom had such a welcoming and helpful waiter. Let alone having incredible meals, the service was the cherry on top to a great experience. The only criticism I have is that the TV's in the lounge were incredibly small and outdated, it would have been nice to watch the basketball game on a better screen, but the meals and service made up for this! I absolutely love this location of the keg. We went once they reopened after covid19 and they had ample space between tables. Server's, and hostess all wore masks. I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I love how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the place neat all the time. Rates are fair and they serve big portions.

There is no option for grilled veggies with the steak and lobster plate anymore. I went with the fried onion - it was tasty but would've been even better with the grilled veg. The baked potato was fabulous as always. I asked for medium rare, and, I realize you have to be super skilled to pull it off. My steak was most definitely far more rare, no medium. I'll just take it down a notch and ask for medium next time. Lobster, was lobster. Bland but with butter it's edible.

The Keg has always been a favourite, but had this experience (at this location) been standard practice, I doubt I'd ever go to a different location, I'd be too eager to return to this one. The server was very kind and outgoing, she recommended moving us to another booth with more room, and being a 6'8" male and my guest also being large in stature, it was greatly appreciated. She went out of her way to ensure the best dining experience for us and as is often a measure of great service, she frequently checked on us and refilled our beverages before having to be asked to. Five stars this visit, 4.5 on average.
