Gourmet quality Chinese Hakka and Cantonese food in the Wexford, Kennedy and Lawrence area. Food is expertly cooked at the perfect wok temperature, ie "wok hey". Love coming here with my dad. They have $5 student specials and a super cheap $6.50 lunch special with HUGE portions. 5 stars!

The waiter Steve is very nice and considerate, down to little details. I ordered a crispy fish to-go and he even said not to leave the box closed or it'll get soggy. Who else offers little considerate details like this? It was my first time here, but I will definitely come back. However, unfortunately they said they are closing in a month due to lack of business. I believe the factor is not the food or service but because of location. Come check out this spot before they close. It's a very underrated restaurant.

#1 Hakka Place for the price in GTA! (yes, better than Hakka legend) Tried the calamari, General Tao chicken, chilly fish and chicken and shrimp fried rice. The food was excellent because it was exceptionally fresh by Hakka standards. Service was top notch as well. The real icing on the cake was the mango-coconut bubble tea which was the creamiest I had. The grand total was $42 and the two of us couldn't finish it. The owners said they need support from locals and I'd definitely recommend fellow Scarborough peeps to try the place. Overall, 8.5/10

I've tried a few Hakka places around Toronto and this has become by far one of my favourite ones. Second time here. Their chicken hot and sour soup is spicy and absolutely delicious. Also had their general tao chicken, chili beef, Cantonese seafood fried rice and totally loved all of it. We live a bit far from this place but would still be my go to for Hakka. The staff is super friendly as well, the service is great, the portions are very big. Overall a great experience.

Scarborough has a lot of good Hakka places, I discovered this in the White Shield Plaza which is on the Lawerence-Kennedy intersection. As you can see from the photos it’s a no nonsense eat and leave place but maintained very clean and the waiter was efficient. I personally liked their General Tao Chicken over the other places nearby, the chilli chicken is good and the noodles were good as well. If you pay in cash there is an additional discount. Overall a quick and value for money place if you want to have some Hakka! There are no stairs or any impediments for accessibility however since the tables are closely placed it might be a bit cramped.

I came here by randomly picking up from google map without seeing the rating first. I was so happy to see how great the food here. I ordered the lunch special, it was so fresh and portion is large too. It came with free sprite and one roll. I just even felt embarrassed that I just order the special (8 dollar ish after tax) and they serve all those great food. Anyway, I would like to give more tip for their great value of being in the business of restaurant.

First time I ate in this restaurant I was impressed by their food quality which I expect from a restaurant. All fresh, tasty and appetizing. From appetizers, main dishes and their bubble teas are great with lots of fresh fruit varieties. The manager Steve is very friendly, clean and organized with the food he serve. He's willing to alter any dish with any special request. I highly recommend this restaurant. You must try and you'll be back for sure. Hope this review helps you as it helps me to pick the great restaurant that I always love to eat out with my family and friends. Bon A petite!

Absolutely delicious. Great size portions. Dry beef, chicken pakora, manchurian fried rice & mussels in black bean sauce! Highly recommended. Service is outstanding! Best Hakka joint in Ontario hands down.
