What a great family run takeout spot in the area I’d definitely recommend it as I’m sure to go back again myself. Service is quick and friendly and the food is all fresh using top quality ingredients and all cooked to order. The prices are more than fair which is what makes this place even more amazing that they aren’t trying to take their customers to the cleaners. Can’t wait to go back again someday to try some of their other items. Finally visited Kathy's Grill and was not disappointed. Chicken Souvlaki Dinner was on point and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu.

This damn place was PACKED on a freaking Tuesday. The burger took two hands to eat. Well worth the price in my opinion. It truly is a "family affair". Apparently Kathy herself mans the register. Customer service to a tee. SERIOUSLY the food and portion amount is awesome and delicious, no complaints. No dining in really takeout mostly still worth it.

Cannot believe the quality of their food at their prices. The chicken souvlaki dinner is one of the best I've had. I was very surprised by the homemade burger! Better than most burgers at actual burger spots! Kathy is also very welcoming and friendly!

Great place for a quick bite. Simple, tasty food and friendly service. I had the gyro on pita and it hit the spot. The tzatziki sauce is light and fresh and a perfect condiment here.

Visited this restaurant. I ordered a pork souvlaki dinner and a regular hamburger. The pork souvlaki dinner was ready before the burger. The old man behind the grill forgot about my burger which is no big deal but he proceeded to blame the young man at the front counter who packs the orders. 2 stars for the grumpy old cook and his bad attitude. 5 stars for the young man at the front for providing good customer service. This place gets fresh and made to order right. A beautiful thin layer of char to contrast with the thick, juicy homemade patty. Kathy's gets the essentials down right. Pricing is ridiculously low for the quality of product you get. 3-4 inch freshly made, homemade double burger for $7! If you're at Harvey's down the road you are making a mistake. Fair warning. The texture in this burger isn't the typical ground meat. It has a more moist, gelatinous texture like that you get out of Harvey's..... but better!

After driving by Kathy’s a lot of times, I finally decided to sample their food, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken fillet, and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, nicely cut, and well portioned.They didn’t skimp with the feta cheese either. The chicken fillet was big enough to cover most of my salad and it was perfectly grill and seasoned. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff very warm and friendly. I can’t wait to try other stuff on their menu.

I've eaten from Kathy's Grill a bunch of times and the food is so so delicious!!! Everything is so fresh, well made and the portions are very generous for the price. They have roast potatoes at times (you can just ask if they have them that day when you order). Thank you Kathy's Grill for now being the new favorite Greek food for my family and I!

Prices are so reasonable here, especially for the pretty big portion and the good taste. Ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner, friend got a burger with poutine and fish and chips. Every order was under $15 and came filled. Service was quick. Tasted great, such a good unassuming spot for quick and easy food.

The best Homemade burger. It is amazing. Super delicious. Also, the Chicken dinner was great too. The prices here are unbelievable compare to the taste and the service. Highly recommended.

A place we have passed 100 times...until today. Omg! Amazing food. The line up out the door proves it. Got the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner...it comes with Greek Salad and they don't skimp on feta. The chicken skewer was fabulous. The Tzatziki was tangy and so good with the melt in your mouth potatoes. Rice was cooked perfectly. The lemon sauce they put on it a must! They even give you a garlic butter bun ...to soak up the last bits of goodness. Loved my meal!

A really good place if you like casual food. They serve some good chicken and steak soulvakis as well. I love their burgers and poutines. I'd definitely recommend it to those in the area. Although they don't have much parking you can park at the Starbucks parking lot.

Talk about clean and organized this place is on point. So friendly and personable. Definitely recommend the food the prices are Amasing the portion sizes are huge!

Was told that this is the crew that started Harry's so I had to go try them out everything was fantastic. Friendly staff open concept so you could see your food being prepared and very good food and portions. I went for the homemade burger and the Greek poutine which was a different twist made with lemon feta cheese and gravy fantastic place if you're in for a good burger. The chicken souvlaki and other dishes also look fantastic but today the pallet crave the burger will definitely come back even though it's a 45-minute drive. The girl said it herself get the homemade burger they make it in house rather than the hamburger.

Great portions for the price, lots of options available, definitely will come back to try more. The gyros was kind of like meatloaf that was placed on the grill but still tasty. Chicken souvlaki was good.

Had the chicken souvlaki dinner, It is not excellent, but not bad. Beware of undercooked pieces of chicken though. Good price. But l do wonder why an authentic Greek restaurant doesn’t make their own tzatziki. Don’t the owners feel embarrassed to serve the cheapest and worst tasting store bought tzatziki. Ordering ahead by phone is advised as the line ups can be tedious.

Great goto spot when you need a good meal in a hurry. Chicken souvlaki dinner was excellent. Seeing the staff working hard behind the counter is always nice too and makes me feel like my food is made with passion.

The burgers here are outstanding and fairly priced. Fresh tasting meat on a fresh bun and fresh veggies. Simple but very tasty. Friendly service but it can get busy at typical meal times. The parking is a mad house as there's only a couple spots and the rest is for the busy Starbucks next door. Getting in and out of this tight plaza onto Kennedy can be hairy sometimes.

Real authentic Greek food, with fresh quality ingredients. The line up was almost out the door and it was still fast with friendly service. I ordered a pork souvlaki dinner and it was great. The pork was tender and juicy, you could really taste the freshness. The salad was a standard Greek salad, however, just like the pork you could taste the freshness, and the salad dressing was one of the best I ever had. I ordered mine with fries and they were the regular frozen fries which hit the spot. The price is right for the portions, you'll feel full at a reasonable price. It is close enough to me that I will now make this a regular spot for a quick meal out.

Line up out the door. Just googled a greek place nearby with good ratings. Love the set up of the restaurant very nostalgic. Food was delicious and really enjoyed the fish and chips. Was surprised Didnt get a great pic of the food. It was dug into before I could get a one

Surprised I haven't reviewed this one yet. Been going here for a while. Probably 20 times since they opened. Nice friendly staff. Affordable well-balanced meals (harder n harder too find) and decent variety of items. I do wish the meals were a bit less rice n more meat but I still go here so I can't complain.

One of my best meals in Toronto! Usually, I will choose a kebab over souvlaki chicken.. But hands-down, this family dinner of souvlaki chicken, and all the fixings was out of this world delicious. Special mention to the lemon sauce on the Perfectly seasoned and grilled chicken.. And the garlic sauce on the side! And how can forget the yummy gravy With the fries.. A delicious overall meal for a Friday night!!

The homemade burger was amazing- juicy and customizable at the counter with sauces and toppings. We also got a souvlaki plate which was filling. Prices are from the 1900s; I could not believe it. The staff were also friendly and explained all our questions on the menu (i.e. burger variations). Will definitely revisit this gem!

An absolute Scarborough gem! My family and I love eating at Kathy's! Everything is sooo delicious -- from the homemade burgers to the souvlaki (these 2 I highly recommend). It is a family-run business that gives you that cozy, inviting feel as soon as you walk in. The owners and workers are such a delight, their food is magnificent and fresh, their portions are very generous, and their prices are very reasonable. I have never had a single critique when I eat at Kathy's....and I've had Kathy's a looooot! Please, please, please do yourself a favour and try Kathy's and support this wonderful family business and make your tummy super happy!

Best Chicken Souvlaki we have had in a long time. Their salad is always fresh and we love the lemon sauce they put on the chicken.

Ordered pork souvlaki dinner with rice and salad; you also get a roll with meal. Kathy's give you great portions at a great price. The best in Scarborough. They are not open on Sundays. Not currently offering dine in due to covid. Don't be surprised if you encounter line ups on Fridays and Saturday evenings...well worth the wait.
