My most favorite place for Chinese food. Portions are big, food quality is outstanding. I moved away from the area but now order online and drive back there to pick up. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Feed my family of 5 for $40 with left overs to take to work for lunch.

To date, wife and I have visited Wok & Fortune 2 times now. It fits into our budget for places for cheap eats, which is usually where to people can chow down on a meal for about $20-$25 bux before taxes. If the owner happens to be around the service is really good. If he isn't around the service seems to be more hit and miss. We always keep our eyes open for cheap eat type restos. On our first visit we ordered : seafood & tofu soup, shrimp hakka noodle and lemon chicken. The portion to price point was good. There was more than enough shrimp hakka noodle for the both of us the only downside was that I had requested the dish to be made without the cabbage. I guess something may have gotten lost in translation, since I ended up picking out shredded cabbage pieces from the dish with chopsticks. The seafood & tofu soup was good I'd say about 3.5 - 4 out of 5. The lemon chicken dish actually surprised me. It was served separately, the chicken was on a platter and the breading was light instead of heavy and the lemon sauce was served in its' own bowl. This is a first where the breaded chicken pieces were not swimming in lemon sauce. The lemon chicken was too much where we ended up taking the left over lemon chicken home minus the lemon sauce. This establishment is not fully authentic chinese base on the youtube video of Mike Chen of Strictly Dumpling channel. On our 2nd visit we opted to show up around lunch time to try out their lunch specials. On this visit, my wife ordered chicken and veggies entree which came with 2 spring rolls, (option of either small bowl of soup or a pop) she opted for chicken corn soup and egg fried rice was part of the offering. I had thought my order would be similar. I had ordered Singapore noodles as the entree option. It turned out if you order noodles as the entree they DON'T give you the egg fried rice. So I ended up with a larger than expected dish of Singapore noodles. As for return visit, the answer would be "Yes". Even tho they got our shrimp hakka noodle slightly wrong, the price falls in our cheap eats budget. There are also many other dishes we are interested in trying out, along with repeat order on the lemon chicken.

This is our go to Chinese Restaurant for food. No complaints. We always order 1 or 2 of the combos platters - you can’t go wrong. Always fresh, nice staff, portion sizes are amazing .. so filling and right up the road!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since they opened, and it’s been a lot of years and different owners. I used to live in the area but moved away, and I still go here. My favourites are the general tao chicken and combination c8. The portions, flavours and pricing are all unbeatable. The lady at the front is always so kind and welcoming.

Prepare to be swept away by an explosion of flavors as tender beef, succulent chicken, vibrant veggies, and plump shrimp unite in a symphony of taste in the house special chow mein. As for the young chow fried rice, it's a delightful revelation – an abundant medley of chicken and shrimp dancing harmoniously on your palate. Each bite is a revelation of freshness, leaving your taste buds yearning for more. Rest assured, your cravings will be met, and any notions of disappointment will be a distant memory.

Amazing food, very tasty and full of flavour. We order the house special noodles, chili chicken, chicken pakora and chicken brocoli. It was the best tasting chinese food I ever tried. We ordered 1 order of each dish and 3 of us ate, plus we had left overs to take home. For the 4 dishes, I paid about $60.

New hakka spot. Never tried it before because i thought its strictly Chinese food due to the name but its hakka. Amazing food and service. Manchurian egg fried rice. Chili chicken gravy. Chicken pakoras and veggie chow mein and crispy beef is what we get. Will continue going here. The workers here are very friendly and service oriented.

The food is so delicious and very satisfying, I eat it twice before I get to finish a large. You should try their chicken fried rice with chicken on top or lo mein with chicken on top

Just moved to the area from downtown Toronto and extremely excited to find this cheap and cheerful place. Amazing value! I love the fact that they have cooks in the back freshly cooking up your dish. I will be trying every dish from there menu!

Amazing food. The amount of food they give you will be enough for three meals lol, just cook some ramen or rice to go with. The beef is always so tender, and udons are top-notch. Service is really fast, even in the busiest times.

LOVE for lunch Ever since COVID and working from home, I now treat myself every so often to take out for lunch. Wok and Fortune has a great value lunch, $10 for a plate, 2 spring rolls, and a soup. The soup is PACKED full of chicken & mushrooms. The “plate” usually weighs 2-3 pounds and will last me 2 meals. I call ahead and by the time I arrive it’s ready (10 minutes) HIGHLY recommended for take out lunch!

Great Chinese place when you get cravings! I’ve heard of 2 other people that got food poisoning from this place a couple of years ago but I personally have never had that experience. The portions are huge despite every other place decreasing the size of their food. My go to dish here are the noodles, chicken wings, eggplant, and their lunch specials. My family used to come here often when we lived around the area

We weren’t planning coming here tonight but I saw multiple people leaving this place with take out bags. Portions are huge and DELICIOUS! Some Chinese restaurants taste the same but this one shined out the rest! We ordered House special fried rice which was good and enough for 4 meals. We also got Lemon Chicken and we were surprised how huge the portion was and it was good. But the highlight of the show was the Beef with eggplant in garlic sauce hmmm so so SOOOO GOOOD! We’ll come back for more!

I live far from here and it was my first time going as I was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. I got combo plater 4C I got Beef fried rice, chicken wings, and spring rolls. I can say this is the best fried rice I have ever tasted and I’ve tasted many different fried rice dishes as it is my favourite food. They were not stingy with the portions whatsoever I eat a lot and when I tell you I got full and it didn’t even seem like I made a dent in the food was crazy. The price is reasonable and comparable to other restaurants of this kind considering the times we are in right now but the portion makes up for it 10x. I’m making it my mission to come to this place any time I’m in the area. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed.

I went to this restaurant once a few weeks ago. It's just OK in my opinion. The tables were a little messy, the food was just okay and a little high on the price. I'm on the fence when it comes to recommending this place. At least the manager was courteous and friendly. .

I recently tried this great place and it was a total win! The portions were great – definitely got my money's worth and then some. The flavors were spot on, especially their chili chicken which was just the right kind of spicy. Plus, the staff were super friendly and quick with service, making the whole experience really laid-back and enjoyable.

I don't understand the high ratings for this place as the quality and taste of the food is not for me. Price is good.

The food is very fresh and friendly service. Small restaurant. Not much setting options. We have been going there almost 15 years. Ginger lobster & fried dumplings is so good.

This place is a hit or miss. At times the food is really fresh and good but sometimes it’s really bad. Food is too oily and smells bad. Stale and burnt food at times.
