Overall the food was average and would give it a 3 star. I'm giving this an overall 1 star review because upon paying my bill with 13% tip, the waitress stopped me on my way out asking if his service was not good and demanded a larger tip. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. All he did was give me and the other people I was with dirty looks the entire time we were, turned on the pot, barely provided us with eating utensils and he demanded a larger tip. If he were nicer and maybe did actually serve us then I get it, but he didn't. Rude and worst customer service I have ever experienced and I would NEVER recommend.

This is an another AYCE hotpot in Toronto, but you can go to pick up what you want by yourself except beef & lamp. This is a very smart way for customers and owner. This is the way to prevent wasting food, and actually the owner could even earn more. On the other hand, service staffs are very friendly and nice. This is the place that I would like to pay more tip because I feel comfortable in this place

Came here for dinner on a Monday and there were only a couple of tables occupied. The waitresses mainly spoke Mandarin and very limited English. Their AYCE dinner price is $28.99 per person (Mon-Thurs), soup base is a separate cost. I personally found their lamb and beef quality not that great. The lamb tasted pretty strong of lamb and the beef was very fatty. The self-serve selections were pretty basic too, just the regular ingredients that you can find pretty much in all hot-pot restaurants, ex. corn, beef balls, fish balls, enoki mushrooms, etc. The sauce bar had the regular selection of sauces, ex. chilli oil, garlic, sesame sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, etc. The soy sauce was extremely salty. We had the clear broth for the soup base and it was pretty salty as well. Over time as you are eating, you will constantly need to drink lots of water since everything was so salty. I’m not sure if they use MSG in their soups/sauces, but my mouth was very dry afterwards, not sure if that was a direct cause… Overall, I don’t think I would visit again, simply because I felt like the food and the quality was not that good.

Great price and friendly service, if you just want to enjoy a simple hotpot, and don't want the hassle to do it at home, and doesn't mind the limited variety, this place is the best for you! Meat qualities are very exceptional, always a good surprise! My go to when I crave for simple hotpot!

Excellent spot. Very good service. The staff were very kind, helpful and welcoming. Visited with a 3-year old, and they were very accommodating. The atmosphere is also beautiful and the food is good as well. All in all, this is one of, if not the best place hot pot place I’ve been to.

I am so impressive of this hot pot restaurant. I will suggest you to upgrade the package with 5 more dollars as you can order the angus beef and Canada AAA Lamb. They are so good and fresh. Highly recommend the spicy hot and sour酸辣金汤 as the soup. It is amazing and I bet you love it badly. Trust me. This soup and beef are prefect match.

I love hotpots and so will anybody who likes soup. Went around 4 in the afternoon and the wait time was less than 10 mins. The server was quick to point out it was happy hour and paying with cash will give us a discount..not sure if it's still there. For the soup base we took clear broth and spicy soup..paid 5$ extra for premium meat..worth it. Loved the fact that we could choose all other sides kept in trays behind the sitting area.. dipping sauce bar was also good. Apart from the usual stuff we enjoyed the spring rolls and sesame balls. You get 2 hrs to eat ..and at the end they give ice cream..there is a dessert section too but we completely missed it. Loved everything..have been to their Toronto branch..but this one is much better.

Terrific! The entire dining experience was pleasant. In terms of quality-price ratio and service are the best that I've ever tried in Toronto. Self-serve soft drink is included without extra cost. It's worth to upgrade the meat as they are darn good, Yummy 😋 . I can't wait to visit again. The only drawback is that the chili oil is not spicy enough, but there are no fresh chilies provided. I hope they will improve it.

This place be ballin in good all you can eat hot pot for what other places would charge you a lot more for. Their clear broth is pretty good for non spicy ppl and they have the single hot pot and shared options as well. If you’re in the neighbourhood this place should be your go to, even outside of lunch hours

Located on Warden Avenue in Toronto, they have a good number of items and multiple options to choose from their all you can eat menu. I have been to this location twice and have had a good experience. Pros: They have a wide range of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. They also have juice and condiments on the side too. The Yin-Yang bowl gives you an experience of 2 soups for a little more price. Their prices are quiet reasonable. Cons: The one star is because they did not bring the correct number of plates ordered even if you like just 1 particular item. Had to speak to the manager regarding this as the staff has a presumption that customers might waste food. A little slow in service, needs improvement.

Really nice interior and good quality meats & variety. Price is good for AYCE, although compared to Haidilao, it basically ends up being around the same. There is one sauce bar with lots of fresh ingredients. Definitely get the shrimp paste flutes! 4 stars because it was really difficult to flag down a waiter and they don't really check up on you.

Something different where you'll cook your food. A robot brings the meat to your table. Pick your broth, then take vegetables, other raw meat, and raw seafood at the buffet table. There is a cook chicken wings ready and it's good! Has glutten free options, too. The food was ok, and cooks quickly. Service is good considering how this place is busy on a weekend. .Also, since food is cooked at your table, when you come into the restaurant, it has a strong cooked food smell. Finally, park by the plaza.

This is such a reasonably priced option compared to other hot pot restaurants. The variety of soup bases and food selection definitely offers good value. However, the standard lamb had a stronger taste than I prefer. Also, the complimentary self-serve soft drinks, while rare to see in an AYCE restaurant in this area, were no longer fizzy and very flat, detracting from the overall dining experience. The service was attentive, although I do wish there was clearer communication about pricing. We were surprised to find that the weekend AYCE lunch price was higher than expected, as it was considered the dinner price for the entire weekend day. This was confusing and somewhat disappointing.

Happy Lamb was our go-to hotpot place before pandemic. Lately I came across a post on social media mentioning their 30% off happy hour on Fri/Sat/Sun. How can I not take advantage of this good deal? Here, we visited Happy Lamb after almost 3 years. The restaurant had undergone renovation and now looks so much spacious and brighter. I especially love the change of layout. They dedicated more space for the self serve area. The seating area is more comfortable than before. Not only the interior, I'm glad to see they also upgraded their services. Our server (and other servers even just passing by) was very pleasant and helpful. She took time to make sure we understood the price breakdown before we started ordering. They got pretty much EVERYTHING we love for hotpot. The quality is up to standard. No complain. Especially the sliced beef and lamb. So tender so soft, I wish my stomach was big enough to eat more of those. There's also some side dishes, snacks, fruits and desserts. Drinks are not included, but the price is very reasonable (not like some other hotpot places where they charge you $7 for a drink that's $3 at grocery store). Free ice cream bars at the end of meal perfectly wrapped up our time at Happy Lamb. I don't know how long this happy hour special will go on for. I included a receipt for your reference, as of our visit on Oct 14 2022: 30% off every FRI, SAT, SUN from 12pm to 5pm $28.99/each person. Plus tax and 15% tip. Cash only. Soup base and drinks not included. Our out-of-the-door total was $63 for 2 people.

I can’t say enough good things about about Happy Lamb. Great service, great quality ingredients, and great sauce bar. I’ve been to many AYCE hot pot restaurants but I have had a hard time finding one with this level of consistency. Not to mention you have robot waiters delivering your food. Shrimp Ball Paste, beef balls, house fish balls, sliced beef, sliced pork, sliced lamb were the highlights of the meal.

Absolutely love coming to this place for hot pot. You can pick an individual pot or a big pot and pick two to three soup flavours. Their meat portions are huge as well.! Not to mention their huge selection of vegetables and other sides that you can pick your own. Eat as much as you like! Everything is very fresh and green. Definitely my go to hot pot location!

One of the best All You Can Eat hotpot experiences. I visited on the weekend during their dinner menu. I found this location to be very clean, decorated nicely, and had a better setup for choosing toppings. I definitely prefer their buffet-style setup over the paper form and having your server bring it for you.

First time at this hot pot place. They are super busy. Service is pretty good. We got the pot with two soup bases, mushroom and tomato. The mushrooms was basically the regular broth with a few mushroom pieces thrown in. Not really worth it. Would recommend getting the basic broth and then you can get your own mushrooms to throw into the soup. There quite a few different types of mushrooms to choose from. Perfect for mushroom lovers. Good selection of veggies and ok choices for seafood and meat. You make your own sauces as well. The soy sauce is super salty even though I only used a little. There is a two hour limit which is enough time for this all you can eat. At the end the servers give you an ice cream bar for dessert. Decent place for hot pot if in the Scarborough area.

I got the ying yang broth and dinner all you can eat. It tasted great and we had good control of the temperature. They brought out the beef and lamb we requested very quickly and offered us ice cream once we were done and when we were paying. The ice cream they had available was melona in honeydew, strawberry, and mango. The only downside was that we had to stand up and grab all the food ourselves which could be difficult during busy hours but it was not busy at this time. The weekend price was 29.99 plus tax and the broth chosen (10.99 in this case).

Went in tonight for a family dinner service was average. I recommend going with someone who has done it before. Because it doesn’t have any guidance at all on what to do. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. Recommend going hungry because it’s all you eat!

Highly recommended, they have a simple menu but it's super delicious! Love the special hot & sour soup base. The only thing is... When they add the refill soup as your pot runs low... It won't taste the same.

My Go to hotpot place when I was a kid. Can’t go wrong with the price. When I was having dinner, there was a power outrage and we waited another 30 mins for the pot to be boiled. For that reason I got 10% discount, which I think it’s a generous move. It’s not their fault to be honest.

You can’t imagine that you have to share tables with other. The restaurant is only designed for group of people over 4, not even a single table reserved for 2 people here. There is literally no private space for you, you have to face with a black board while you having food, super bad experience, and you have no right to say “I don’t want to share tables with others”, because the staff there force you to share tables with others. If you want to look for a good dining experience, at least you are being treated as a normal customer, don’t come to this place. No respect and no rights at all as a customer.

Went up here to eat before the circus with family-I’d say it’s one of their best locations! I’ve been to their downtown location plenty, so I wasn’t expecting a whole BUFFET! It makes things so much easier to pick your own portions (except the meat). You can also pick individual pots or a shared one, and if people are picky or just want their own pot, they can! It’s great if you’re there individually too. I wish they had a rice cooker 😩 but that just means I can eat more noodles and meat LOL Atmosphere is bright, basic, but nothing distracting and is perfect for just eating good food with a group of people. Service was good too, they got you things when you asked, very quickly and easily. And the buffet style eliminates them having to be called over too much. I don’t live close enough to often visit, but I’ll bring my friends here when I’m close :)

Good broth with lots of options. Lots of greens and the extra fried options are also delicious. There was a wide variety of sauces and nice staff.

My first hotpot experience with my gf, and wow… everything was stunning !! The beef and spicy broth was my favourite out of all, overall it was a very clean and organized restaurant, and the staff was so nice and caring ! Once we paid for our bill the waitress gave us a rose because it was Chinese Valentine’s Day which I thought was such a kind gesture ! Definitely will come back again for more, Would highly recommend.

Great variety of ingredients at a manageable price for all you can eat. The base price is $28.99 per person and add around $10 for mixed soup base split amongst 2-3 people. After tax and tip, it comes out to around $40 per person which is not bad in comparison to other hotpot places. For an extra $5 per person, you can order premium lamb/beef listed in these photos. They also give Melona for dessert and also include tiramisu and chocolate cakes. Definitely recommend to stop by if you have hotpot cravings!
