Thank you so much for accommodating me and making the vision for a unique custom Muay Thai cake for my husband's birthday a reality! As stressed out as I was in trying to decide on which baker to select and their availability within a week, Tiffany made selecting colours and flavours so easy. She advised which flavours would pair well and which colours to select. Her response to my initial inquiry was fast as well! Within a few hours, my cake concept was complete and confirmed. Everyone at our virtual party was quite impressed with the colours and the gloves as the cake topper. When I visited the Cafe' everything was neat and inviting. Super cute treats! The pull-apart donuts were fantastic. Lots of flavour and fun to eat. The place is very pretty inside. I can't wait to go back after covid to sit and have a coffee there.

We are soooo happy that we got our wedding cake from Oishiii! We had chosen another Asian bakery initially, but the cake samples were disappointing and when we asked the bakery if they could make it a little tastier (they were dry and tasteless) they said they could for an extra charge. So we started looking at other bakeries, many of them said they couldn't do the design we were requesting. Oishiii was quick to reply and when we got the cake samples we were blown away by the quality. Excellent flavours and a unique soft texture. They responded to all my emails promptly and were always very friendly and courteous. Everyone loved our cake at the wedding, we got so many comments from people saying how delicious it was. Thank you Oishiii for making the perfect wedding cake for us!

Perfect bakery. 👑 Excellent baked goods. Lots of variety. Cute interior design. Great coffee. Super-friendly staff. I don't know if it gets better than this for dessert. There is so much care and precision put into the flavours, the execution, and the presentation of every single item here! I spent way too much money but was not disappointed in a single thing. The cookies, the macarons, the cakes. All absolutely delish. Nothing is too sweet unlike so many non-Asian pastry shops in the city who do similar delicate and creative pastries. The greatest part is that because I was so overwhelmed and excited about so many options, I ordered more than I could possibly eat in a day, but even at day 3, what was left still tasted awesome. Also, I love llamas (or alpacas), and I have no idea what the name Oishii has to do with llamas, and the bakery certainly isn't Peruvian or Chilean or anywhere alpaca-focused. (As far as I know Oishii is something about Japanese strawberries.) But there are llamas/alpacas everywhere and I lovvvved it!

we’ve had wonderful experiences ordering from oishiii sweets! we have had our wedding cakes and birthday cakes done custom here. the owners are very communicative and helpful. everything comes out beautiful and tasting like a dream! the cafe itself is very welcoming and has a huge selection. stop in or order when you can!

We ordered a wedding cake from Oishiii and decided to go with a more simple cake design/pattern after seeing some inconsistencies with the detailing on their other cake designs. The custom monkeys were great and the owner we dealt with was friendly, however, we were surprised to see that the pattern on the cake itself was sloppy on the one side. Unfortunately it was the front angle where pictures were being taken. The cost (including delivery) was $480 total and the cake was delivered and set up by the shop. Photos were taken right after the set up. Definitely surprised that no effort was put in to smooth out that smeared section and just to reapply the pattern after the error as it was simple enough to do so. Instead it was just left as it was knowing that this was a cake meant for a special wedding function and that pictures will be taken up close. This review is not meant to criticize the vendor but to highlight areas of improvement for future customers. Susan

I love Oishiii Sweets, their sugar cookies are so tasty and always SUPER CUTE. I also love ordering my cupcakes from them. The cupcakes are so moist and not to sweet, they also have a variety of cakes and frosting pairings to choose from.

Tiffany was a joy to work with for our wedding cake order - she was responsive, accommodating from tasting through to final design and the final cake we chose (black sesame base with ube frosting) was a huge hit - also more affordable than many other quotes we got. We also love visiting on the regular whether for chewy mochi muffins or her amazing cheesecakes (all of them are fantastic)! Thanks again for being a part of our special day :)

My friend and I came here for the Tea Time with Totoro and it was a blast. the staff were so friendly, and the safe is filled with cute llamas and anime themed goods. We got the Soot Hot Chocolate and it was fun to watch it melt with the hot milk. The savoury was absolutely delicious and the sweets were incredible. The detail put into it and the taste is perfection. It really made us feel like we were in the movie.

I quite like the mochi doughnut. My favourite so far is the green tea matcha mochi doughnut (not in pic). I also like their sesame flavoured tofu cake (not in pic). The only this is that they should probably post the rpices for all items so that it prevents people from going to the cash and asking how much each items are. Also, I wish I knew when the flights were made fresh out of the oven, just curious to see if it is very chewy or has a diff in textures.

Had an amazing experience with their Ghibli pop-up event! The food was delicious, and the servers were very friendly and informative. Our waitress explained everything and answered questions, listed ingredients for us when asked, and was fast and attentive. My matcha latte had a live pouring table service, which was very fun and entertaining. The sweets and savoury dishes were very well-made and balanced and varied in flavour and the environment was very cosy and well-decorated. There was some Ghibli merchandise as well, and it seemed like they featured some local goods from small businesses, which I thought was wonderful. The tea service was bottomless, and also very good! We also got a coupon afterwards and some free stickers. There was also ample free parking. Special thank you to our server Ponyo who took care of us during our visit! Great quality food and great service, would highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Their sweets are so flavourful and not too sweet!! They have an amazing assortment of tarts, macarons, mochi muffins (our personal favourite), mochi desserts, and Totoro cookies!! The demon slayer macarons I got were delicious and super cute!! I absolutely love this cafe. It's small, cute and of course decorated with my favorite animal, the alpaca 😍 The staff is super nice. Drinks and dessert are great. Highly recommend their brownies it's not too sweet. They have so many cute decorative cookies great gift idea.

REALLY cute interior. If you're a Ghibli fan, you'll absolutely love this café. Several drink options to choose from (and even a specific Ghibli themed additional drink menu), along with cookies, macarons, cakes and cake slices. Tons of merchandise available for purchase; all very cute (pins, pens, stickers, posters, t-shirts/sweaters and much more). Had their macarons (oreo, and hazlenut). The filling was absolutely delicious for both. It was end of day, so the macaron shells were slightly chewy in my opinion. I would definitely go back to experience their cake slices and other treats.

Great cute Japanese cafe with varieties of sweet pastries to choose from. The macaroons were so delicious with interesting flavors and too cute to eat Sanrio characters. Also, it has adorable merchandises. The staff was friendly. If you want cute and creative sweets, come here.

We got our wedding cake from Oishii Sweets and Tiffany and her team were amazing! They were super accommodating with the delivery time and did an amazing job matching it to the rest of our décor. It looked great, tasted great, and everything went so smoothly.

I ordered a custom cake from Oishiii a week before I needed it and the entire ordering process was great and quick! The cake turned out better than the inspiration picture I had sent. The simplicity yet the amount of detail in this cake is absolutely amazing! The cake I ordered was a vanilla flavoured with vanilla buttercream. Everyone at the party enjoyed the taste as it wasn't too sweet. I'm also content with the amount I spent for the cake as I almost ordered a printed cake that was close in price. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my experience communicating with Tiffany and visiting the store. I'll definitely be returning to try the other sweets they have!

Cute cafe. Great coffee. Service is quick and pleasant. Desserts are a must try! Had the black sesame mochi donut and the ube muffin. Both were fresh, have special textures, and very yummy. Can’t wait to try more!

Durian mousse cake 45$ cash, very affordable. Super creamy and flavourful. Liked the cake overall, strawberries they could have gotten rid of the stem and got mixed reviews about the cake bottom being missed match to the very smooth texture on top. Overall very good cake, above average for durian cakes in the city. Would recommend.

We had the ube mochi muffin and black sesame cheesecake. Ube muffin is crispy outside, light mochi texture inside, not too sweet with slightly hint of salty. Cheesecake is the lightest cheesecake I have tried, you can taste the refreshing tofu and it is not too sweet as well, which is perfect to our taste! Had ice latte with the food, although stuff is a little pricey, but you pay for good quality! 👍

Got a custom birthday cake done here and I couldn’t be happier! The details were beyond my expectations, not to mention the taste. It was delicious!! The cake itself was moist and light, and the buttercream tasted like fresh picked strawberries without being overly sweet. I was in a rush picking up the cake, but noticed there were some nice treats that I will definitely be going back for. Can’t wait to order the next cake! Thank you Oishiii team!

I love this place, but I am biased, I love Alpacas. But even the food here is amazing, the vibe is great and the staff is so polite. The pictures of this Alpaca traveling the world with the owner are a treat. They have very interesting treats aka Ube Tart. I would strongly suggest you try this place once.

Cute llama themed cafe with desserts like cheesecake, mochi muffins and decorated sugar cookies. It’s not very big but feels cozy and there are lots of plants everywhere. Oat milk available for my lactose intolerant peeps!

Super cute Cafe with tasty desserts in North Scarborough just South of Markham. They have an assortment of rotating desserts like Cakes, cookies, brownies and macarons. I love their macarons which have unique designs and flavors. The cheesecakes are not too sweet and have great texture. I recommend the Ube flavor or the Black sesame. They sometimes do Themed High-Tea sets which come with an assortment of pastries and teas to try. A cute experience if you enjoy their food. The drinks menu is pretty vast, with Hot and Cold options. Many fruity drinks as well as coffee and espresso. There's also some anime themed merchandise for sale in the store.

Ordered a Dino theme cake and cupcake from this place. The cake I have received is a lot better than the sample pics I gave. Cake was also bigger than I expected. My guests loved the cakes and I had none left after the party. I am very pleased with the cakes.

I was shook. I did not expect this black sesame tofu cake to be SO good! It's very light in flavour which is perfect for Asian dessert palates. Not very sweet but sooooo fragrant with black sesame and so smooth. I personally prefer a slightly crunchier base but it was perfection for the birthday boy and everyone else. I was sad I didn't get to try their mochi donuts since they're only available Fri-Sun but judging by how delicious this cake was, it won't be long before I order again!

This place has been on my list for a while and I'm so glad I got to try it. Their ube and hojicha twist soft serve is great! The portion and price ($3.50) were very reasonable. The little llama shortbread cookie on top looks unassuming yet cute, but is very tasty. I tried their mochi donuts which were also good. Personally, I don't think mochi donuts are for me, but I can see why people love them as the texture is unique. The flavour was tasty! Service was excellent! We were greeted in a very kind manner and service was quick/efficient. The customers ahead of me ordered large cake orders, so that's a good sign! I'll visit again and will likely get the soft serve and also try their cakes. Check out this local spot for Asian-inspired desserts/treats and various beverages! There was a decent amount of parking available in the plaza (same plaza as pizza pizza).

We ordered Avenger themed cookies for my son's 4th birthday party. They turned out amazing and tasted delicious!! Absolutely a hit with the kids. Thank you for taking our last minute order and doing such an amazing job. Highly recommend.

Tried their sliced cheesecake (milk Tea flavor) and a cheesecake tart. They both taste great with a smooth and soft cheese-filled cake. They are priced moderately at $5.50 each compared to other similar pastry shop, like Duo Patisserie. They do not do whole cake in mini sizes with individualized designs but sell them sliced instead. For me, they are second to Duo Patisserie.

Their mochi doughnuts are great! It's light and has a nice texture to them, plus they rotate their flavours weekly so you'll always have something new to try. Their sugar cookies are also adorable especially Larry. I will definitely come back to see what flavours they'll have next and try their other treats.

I will just start off by saying how adorable this cafe is. The use of the Llama made this cafe even more appealing, but there assorted treats and drinks made this experience so much more sweet. There's a variety of sweets to cater to your taste. Not only are the design beautiful but each bite you could taste the flavor that it depicts. The macaroons are a must try especially the ones with the pop candy, cookies are wonderfully moist, but also the shortbread cookie had the right density and sweetness. The staff is wonderful and the decor is simple but yet modern to my liking. 4.5 star is the right rating 👌
