We have been going to some trusted Thai restaurants in Markham. Our fave is Thai Basil in Richmond Hill. Thought of trying a new restaurant and were really looking forward to the food here. To sum up the experience: Terrible. - Chicken skewers had raw chicken inside. - All dishes, including green curry, use greasy, over fried meats, chicken, fish, etc. -The frying oil they are using is old. You can tell from the taste. -The restaurant has a musty smell when you walk in. Even though we got take out, the food has same after taste. Food has the same after taste. Unfortunately, would never come back here.

We got the chicken pad Thai, beef Khao soi, and the soft shell crab fried rice (with how much I liked each dish in that order). The pad thai has amazing flavour and texture. I love the curry base of the khao soi. I could do without the soft shell crab rice but it was cool so try and it was done very well (and beautiful presentation). The staff are all lovely and its a nice spot to have lunch with loved ones. Overall 5/5!

Jatujak has been a staple for us for years, from their first location. The Pad Thai is always spot on, full of flavour and filling. They make it with such great precision each time, and love the look and presentation of the meal. One of the best chicken pad thai across the city and we will continue to be here for more! Taste - 4/5 | Presentation - 4/5 | Portion - 4/5

A new favourite spot to enjoy! Their lunch specials are the right size and packed full of flavour. Their Thai Iced is one of the best I've had since they balance out the flavour with the sugar. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Can ask for much more. Totally recommend the green curry and pad Thai.

Instagram @chopstixinthesix Follow Us!! This is the BEST Pad Kee Mao Chicken!! It is a Thai Rice Noodles dish, stir fried with Chicken, spices and veggies, AKA Drunken Noodles. It was quite spicy but the heat and the spices made it very BOMB! Also make sure to squeeze lime juice in it as it elevates the flavours in it! What’s special about this place as well? Their DAILY LUNCH SPECIAL to MAKE IT A COMBO (spring roll, salad and drink) is available any day of the week. You also have to get their Thai Iced Tea, it is a Thai Coconut Milk Tea, and also super delicious!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I tried their Mango Salad, Pad Thai, Pla Rad Prik, and Lemongrass Chicken Wings. All the dishes were very well presented and it was delicious. Their customer service is great, and staff communicated in a professional manner.

"Jatujak" is the world's largest weekend market in Bangkok, Thailand. My wife has a thing for Thai food lately so we were looking to support another local Thai business. This restaurant is located in a busy plaza at the corner of Steeles Ave E and Middlefield Rd. The signage is very visible and lots of free parking available. We ordered 3 lunch specials which were priced well and the portions were still decent. 1. Pad thai with chicken $9.95 2. Green Curry chicken $9.95 3. Thai grilled chicken marinade recipe $11.95 The pad thai had a generous helping of noodles and chicken. There was a lime and crushed peanuts served on the side. The pad thai had more of a sweet than savoury taste. The noodles were cooked well. I have had pad thai from many different places and I would say this dish is catered toward Canadians and didn't have the authenticity. The flavours didn't jump out of the plate but for the price this meal will definitely fill you up! The green curry was a different story. The curry broth had more spices and basil to give it that nice kick. The spice was not that overpowering and was just right. Our bowl had more bamboo shoots than chicken. They used chicken breast meat so that's major plus. We loved pouring the curry broth on the Jasmine rice as it makes the whole dish so much more enjoyable. The Thai grilled chicken marinade was very good as well. Boneless thigh meat grilled with skin-on served with Jasmine rice and mango salad. There was a dipping sauce green chilies provided for the chicken which gave an extra kick for the chicken. Overall the experience was great and the food was definitely something we will come back for more. Server was attentive and checked up on us 3 or 4 times to ensure we are enjoying the food. There's a 10% cash discount if you are paying cash. If you're in the area give them a try. Great food and nice service.

Phenomenon food. Only PAI in downtown can compare. This jatujak branch is new, spacious, has the better food than other branches. We brought our toddler and the staff made sure we were accommodated so well since we had a toddler. Food and service and ambiance really good.

A cozy place for a simple Thai meal. I love their green chicken curry and sweet n sour fish. Friendly service and clean environment. It's spacious and has free parking spaces outside the restaurant. The food is fusion Thai and Asian style. If you are looking for an authentic Thai cuisine, this is not !

Newer location. Relax and charming ambience and decor. Very clean and spacious dining areas. Service staff were super kind, friendly and efficient. Most importantly, fantastic authentic Thai food! Probably one of the best Thai food in GTA! The mango salad and coconut soup were so delicious!! Will definitely go back and recommend to everyone!

Location was easy and ample parking. You can't miss the place with the big sign. Spacious and clean environment decorated with a few traditional Thai culture items. I had the Pineapple chicken fried rice and I had to say there was good amount of pineapple in the rice and not just canned pineapple. The Tom Yum soup with shrimp was very fragrant not overpowering. The only thing that was missing was skewers ... Thai street food cannot be without skewers and that sweet peanut satay sauce. All in all good job : )

I usually go to the Victoria Park location but once this one opened, it was more accessible. Love their green curry with crispy fish—forever my favourite that has been incomparable to any other green curry I’ve tasted yet. Their pad Thai is on the sweeter and tangy side but I love it! You literally can’t go wrong with anything you order here. So much flavour! (Photos are from September 2020)

Authentic Thai Food restaurant run by thais. Love the rich taste of the Green Curry with the authentic taste that I had in BKK. I requested less 🌶️ that perfectly good with the rice. (Set lunch provided) Tom Yum with the choice of 🦐shrimps, not the tin shrimp, 👍 the Rich taste of the soup not just watery taste as others Thai restaurant. (I like it but if less a bit salt will be better ) I returned to order a take out Mango 🥭stickyrice dessert, and the server Van was so good to remind me that the best serving time while it is still warm with sweet and savory coconut sauce, it enhance the taste of the sticky rice & mango. It is 👍👍good, the portion is good for 2 ppls. I definitely will come with my friends again. Thank you for the good service.

The food, staff, cleanliness, decor and overall atmosphere of the restaurant are amazing! Portions of each dish are sufficient for the price. The dishes that I have tried (beef salad, pad see ew, fried fish with tamarind sauce, pad thai, mango sticky rice) are all very flavourful! If only this were closer to home. It's always a treat to visit though!

I’ve always loved Jatujak on Vic Park so I ordered from here today and the food was incomparable. Don’t know if it’s always like this or was off tonight. I ordered green curry which was supposed to be medium. It was extremely spicy but also lacked other flavours, was too watery (consistency of soup, not curry) and had red pepper flakes - a no no for green curry. Next we had wings that were too dry and smothered in sauce that was too sweet. Papaya salad was good. Overall seriously disappointed.

We came here for lunch and they had a few options at a special value. The Tom Yom Chicken broth was flavorful and delicious. The chicken rice dish was not impressive. The rice was soggy and there was not a lot of chicken. The combo included salad, spring roll and a soft drink for an additional $4. What was upsetting is that the main dish also had a salad so I feel like I paid extra. In any case I do recommend if you're in a pinch for an affordable tasty lunch.

Surprisingly delicious. Recently tried these Thai food place and really enjoyed the flavors. They also give a good amount of food. There is a parking and it easy to find a spot. When it isn’t busy the place is clean otherwise a bit messy due to the crowd and maybe staffs don’t have time to clean up the tables. However, the most important is the quality and amount given of the food. Everything we chose was delicious. We went twice to buy to go and both time we were very happy. Can’t wait to try more. It worth the money spend. And the people servings are all very nice and will take time to share their recommendations and will also kindly take time to explain.

This is one of the better Thai spots I've been to in recent years. I've tried the soft shell crab (Pu pad prik klua), pad see ew, sweet and spicy noodles in basil (Pad Kee Mao) sauce, and crispy chicken stir fry. Each dish I tried had great flavor and the ingredients were fresh. The soft shell crab was definitely my favorite of the bunch, and is something I don't get to enjoy very often. The service was excellent and the staff are very friendly.

I came in at 9:20 and was unfortunately told that they were closed for dine in so I ordered the Pad See Eew and Pad Woon Sen to go. I’ve been to Jatujak a few times and keep returning because the food is usually pretty decent and the consistency in being able to be seated quickly without a reservation. However I was slightly disappointed with my order this trip. The Pad See Eew tasted pretty bland and the chicken in both noodle dishes felt dry. The portion sizes also seem to be smaller than usual compared to my previous visits.

Everything we tried was so delicious! The pad thai, pad kee mao, khao soi, papaya and mango salads, and thai iced tea. Portions were very generous and servers were very friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping by for some Thai food.

The service was really fast and attentive. We were a table of three for Saturday lunch. They gave us bowls for the tom yum soup without asking. The food tasted really good and did what we requested. Overall, our experience was really good. Would definitely come back again.

We had the Chicken Pad Thai which we told them to make spicy and it was just the right amount of spiciness. Besides that, the dish was delicious! We also had the Thai Iced Tea which was addicting. Overall, we had a good experience! However, it was a bit awkward and confusing when a specific employee of theirs kept on randomly going near our table and the other's to see if everything is fine. That's completely valid, however, it was too random and left us confused.

Ordered the Thai Iced Tea, Lunch Special - Pad Kee Mao, and Lunch Special - Green Curry with Rice dishes. The lunch special still runs 11am-3pm and we visited around 1pm on a weekday. Seating was spacious from my experience. The food was great, we got the right amount of kick from the spiciness without sacrificing the flavour of the dishes. The thai iced tea is really good! The place felt cozy and the staff were nice. Bring cash! I would visit again the next time i’m around the area!

This is by far the best Thai restaurant I tried. Tasty pad Thai and curry. Nice decor and price is reasonable. Highly recommended. Will come back to try other dishes.

Great Thai food and authentic as well. I’ve been to both the Vic Park and Steeles locations and both have the same food quality and selection. Great option to be able to order online for pickup. Love the Thai Iced tea, mango sticky rice, pad Thai and curries. Great vibe and decor inside as well. We often get take out form here as it’s closer to the east end of where we are. I’d recommend trying the curries, pad sew ew and pad Thai to start.

Went here for fathers day and hence that might be one of the reasons for the ambiance being four stars. But food was quite good. Liked the green curry with chicken. Mango salad is my favorite and was well made here as well. The service was a bit of an issue as they were rushing. But it might be because of the crowd. Will try this place on a regular day and see how that changes this review. Overall a good place to dine in.

Just visited again after pandemic. The food quality is deteriorate. I visited 4 or 5 years ago. It was a cold winter. People had to wait outside the restaurant. But I just visited again recently. I can just get a table easily. I tried pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai, which are very average. Curry is too watery and its chicken is too dry and tasteless. The only good is the tom yum soup.

A few weeks back, me and my friends hit up Jatujak Thai Cuisine. I had the Chicken Pad Thai – so flavourful and those spices were spot on! Definitely recommend for spice lovers. 🌶️ Portion size was great for the price. The place could use a little sprucing up, but I kinda dug the vibes and the look.

I recently visited the restaurant and had a great experience. The waitresses were very attentive and helpful. The food was really good - the curry sauce was especially rich and flavourful. The mango chicken sauce was also delicious. Prices were reasonable, and I will definitely come back.

First time visiting. I had a craving for pu pat pong karee and this place was beyond my expectation. Pad tai noodles were amazing and portions of all dishes were good. Their pineapple fried rice has curry flavor so my kid felt it was a bit spicy. But to myself and hubby it was the best fried rice we ever had.!! Drove almost 30 mins just for this restaurant and it was totally worth it! Their service was amazing and friendly too. Will definitely make another trip again.!!

It was our first time visiting this place for Thai food. This restaurant was clean and it had a relaxing ambiance. The taste of the food and service were ok. The portion of the food was reasonable. My favourite dish was Thai grilled chicken with green papaya salad and steamed coconut sticky rice. Despite that the lemongrass chicken wings with the thick sauce tasted too salty, our overall experience was pleasant.

First time visit this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, great service, food is general taste good except that the sauce of Gaeng Massaman was a bit watery (my personal preference would be a bit thicker)

Order a lunch special and they’ll arrive in no time – sometimes a worrying sign of premade food that just sits around and is assembled to order. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case with the pad Thai ($8.95). The heap of brown noodles studded with chicken, onions, and bean sprouts didn’t look like much, but once I had a forkful the seemingly too-wet noodles was the perfect consistency and the sweet flavours nicely balanced by the sour and savoury elements. While I couldn’t smell much wok hay when the dish was presented, the pad Thai did have a mellow smoky element that briefly peaks out while being consumed. I’d skip the chicken green curry ($8.95), it’s run-of-the-mill and a tad sweet for my taste for something that has two chilies listed beside it on the menu. Truth be told, I was probably still a little salty from hearing that the steamed fish curry wasn’t available, something I really had my heart set on. Jatujak’s beef khao soi ($15.95) could also use a kick of heat to really push the bowl to the next level. Still, it was a tasty dish with the creamy curry broth incorporating a hint of citrus. The combination of silky egg noodles with crispy ones were also on-point with equal amounts of both textures. There were also tons of brisket in the bowl, so this is a great choice for those who really want their protein.

Shared a meal with 2 of my friends, ordered too much! We all had to takeaway. To start, the Mango salad was phenomenal, and don’t get me started on the Pineapple Curry Fried Rice, what a show stopper. Flavour balance was amazing! The Pad Thai and Koi Soi was not bad, but was most definitely outshined tonight. Drinks were nice on a hot evening! Service was superb as well. Well done! Will definitely be back.

One of my fave Thai places. The khao soi is probably my all time favourite dish. The pad kee mao was also really good. They know how to make it spicy which I love. We also for a free pad Thai with our order so that was great!

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. I ordered the tom yum noodle soup combo. Comes with salad and a spring roll. The tom yum noodle soup was quite tasty and what I expected it to taste like. The Thai ice tea was yummy but came with lots of ice. The ice crepe thing for dessert was good! Friendly service.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. I ordered the discounted lunch specials to try this place out. Though the Thai chicken was a little small and overcooked, the chicken green curry was very enjoyable. Green curry is not my usual Thai food order, but it was the one available for lunch, so I went with that. It was nicely flavoured and a good serving size. The pad Thai is good compared to other places I’ve tried in Scarborough, but I wish it have more wok hei.

Cute, clean interior with lots of seating. Very friendly & attentive staff. Didn’t try much, but the dishes ordered were delicious and full of flavour. Portion sizes were decent. extremely delicious Thai food! every dish was filled with flavour and there was not a single one we didn't enjoy. highly recommend the beef salad and pad thai. worth the visit if you are in Scarborough. the servers were also extremely helpful, kind and attentive! recommend for bigger groups for better variety sharing. edit: went for a second visit and my order got mixed up but the servers were kind enough to take responsibility for the mistake. i knew from the first visit they had exceptional customer service but this second visit confirmed it. will definitely continue coming here for the best Thai food i've had in Toronto, the price, and customer service! thank you to the girls tonight, you guys owning up to the mistake was commendable! 👏

Delicious! Came with my son and daughter and we got the pineapple fried rice, Thai grilled chicken, and chicken khao soi. Every dish was very tasty and our server/the kitchen was very accommodating to the modifications I made. We’ve come here for many years now and the quality consistently amazes us. Would highly recommend!
