Ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Es gibt zwei Räumlichkeiten, wir waren in dem urigen Teil. Die Einrichtung dort ist sehr dunkel, alles wirkt so ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Aber in Berlin ist man das ja gewohnt und gehört zum Schick dazu. Hier soll es russische Küche geben. Enttäuscht waren wir das erste Mal, da hier das Getränk „Kwas“ weder bei der Bedienung noch an der Bar bekannt war. Okay. Die Soljanka schmeckte insgesamt sehr seltsam und auch das Fleisch bei dem Burger war nicht durchgebraten. Auch die anderen meiner Gruppe schienen nicht so ganz zufrieden mit ihren Gerichten zu sein. Alles wirkte doch eher recht lieblos.

I can deal with the 73 minutes waitingtime for my food order because I will take in consideration that the EM match Italy - Belgium was showing and I can only guess that the kitchen was overwhelmed as the place was packed. Nevertheless, when I do wait for 73 minutes and still get cold fries and a more than dead burger patty I am dissatisfied. The bun lost all it's integrity and became like glue once chewing and ended up sticking to my gum. I am sorry but there's nothing good I can write about my visit. I know when a football match is going on, everybody's working full on, BUT the match dates are fixed and they could have act accordingly. When I'd be doing calls in the kitchen I would not have send cold FRIES ! ! !

Wonderful hidden restaurant that we stumbled upon by chance. The indoors have a Gothic medieval theme, with old benches and tables and candle lights. Loved the ambience and the vice. Music is nice, service is friendly and prompt. Great selection of beers. We orders the chicken schnitzel which was nice and crispy, came with a side of fries. The potato and salmon blini was simply great! Every bite was savoured. Highly recommended!

Horrible customer service, manager harasses the employees and pays them less than minimum wage. Waitress also stole 15 euros from me and said I havent paid for my drinks even though I DID and even tipped Would not recommend the place is extremely shady.

From the outside, this place is reminiscent of all these typical Berlin restaurants with mixed interiors. not necessarily inviting to me. But the food was very good. The service was friendly. There was a large selection and the prices were low - a recommendation.

Extremely bad shakshuka... The eggs were completely uncooked.Don't recommend! I'm not sure if I was able to catch this in the photo, tho'. I understand that you are cooking poached eggs, but poached eggs are not raw eggs. I don't think it's healthy. I couldn't eat anything from this dish. I'll try my best not to go at Chagal anymore. Tried more dished, nothing special....but this one was the worst so far.

A little hidden in this area but it’s a cozy place if you’re looking for a coffee at night—while all cafes are closed in this district, Chagall stays open until 2 am. You can slurp your espresso or clink your mojito in a very warm atmosphere here. Their Lauchkäsesuppe is super delicious and the service is quite fast. Yes, it is a cash-only place but where can you pay with card these days in Berlin anyway? Lovely music, lots of expats, a good menu, full range of drinks—anything you need after Feierabend.

Wundervoll eingerichtet, man kann auf mehreren Ebenen gemütlich Platz nehmen und sich die Leckereien der Osteuropäischen Küche servieren lassen. Die Bedingung was außerordentlich freundlich, für Berlin schon fast etwas zu viel aber wir haben es genossen.

Super lecker, super nette Bedienung. Leider war die Dame im Service mit 18 besetzten Tischen komplett alleine - ohne Theker. Da darf die Geschäftsführung etwas großzügiger sein.

Was walking the streets of Berlin and stumbled across this restaurant. Had a good schnitzel and would recommend. I personally liked the atmosphere very much.

I am very disappointed of Café Chagall, and I don’t recommand it to you at all. First, the service wasn't nice, the waiters were not polite, I almost felt that I was seated in a fair... Secondly, the dish was bad and its appearance, sloppy. It was the first time that I tried russian/ukrainian cooking, therefore I'm sad because this restaurant gave me a poor impression of it. I'll try in another place, and you should better do the same !

I only went there for a pint but I still got a good feeling about the place. The staff was very friendly and chatty and they served decent beer. Fresh toilets for this type of venue. Lots of outdoor seatings under a marquee, which is good both for rain and sun. I would go here again if I was in the neighbourhood.

This cafe-restaurant-pub is a hidden local spot for a lazy moment. You can drink coffee, tea and also have a meal, drink alcoholic beverages but the best part of this place is a hidden cozy space in the deep inside of it where you can even smoke cigarettes. Personally, I was feeling like somewhere in Praha, a bunker bar. Maybe the reason why was I had Czech beer there!

Sonnenbank und 🍺 chen Wenn die Sonne scheint und man ein Plätzchen draußen sucht ist man hier gut aufgehoben. Hier bekommt man die Extrastunde Sonne. Von den Plätzen aus kann man wunderbar den Kiez beobachten und dabei schön Bierchen trinken und auch lecker essen.

Lovely place to go to eat something, to grab something to drink as well. The crew was very friendly, the food was tasty, beer was excellent 👌 good job guys

Das Essen wurde super angerichtet und schmeckte gut. Ich fand das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aber nicht sonderlich überzeugend. Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich. Beim Wechselgeld wurde sich fast verzählt. Zum Bezahlen musste man auf sich aufmerksam machen.

Awesome place if you want to get a soup or some pelmeni. The staff is friendly and the place is located at this beautiful corner next to the U-Bahn(not too busy) which is convenient and nice.

I loved this place. The Weihenstephan beer was good and cold, the food was nice and the owner and his son were incredibly welcoming. Thank you for a lovely time ❤️

Had a great team event at Chagall (beginning of December 2022). The team was very friendly and nice to help us organise a relatively large event with various good food options (that were very tasty) and drinks, all within our budget. We had a separate room to ourselves that was also a great vibe. Thank you!

One of the best restaurants in town. Authentic eastern European food, deliciously prepared. I strongly suggest the Ukrainian bortsch and the blini. Good choice of well made cocktails as well. Kind and quick service in a unique atmosphere. Every time I'm in Berlin, this is an obliged stop!

Reserved, waiter forgot reservation. Understaffed, had to wait half an hour for drinks just to find out that they had forgotten half of our order. Food was delivered cold.

The food is incredible and it also respect the traditional russian cuisine. They offer quick service and fair prices...just don't judge the local by the look, it's a style choice. Surely when back in Berlin I'll go eat again there

This bar is great! The bar staff are really friendly and make tasty cocktails. My girlfriend and I came here with friends for some casual drinks before dinner, liked it so much we then booked our 30th birthday party here and the manager took care of everything. We had drinks and Canapés for all of our guests. It was a great evening! Would highly recommend.
