The staff here is absolutely amazing. Super friendly front desk workers. We had a minor issue with check in but were still able to accommodate while the problem was resolved. The breakfast is delicious. We look forward to it every morning after work. The beds are cozy and the room is very well maintained.

No our worst experience, but certainly not our best. This hotel is a bit run down and dark. Worse yet, maintenance seems to be lacking. We stayed in a room on the top floor for four days and three nights. We noticed upon arrival that the carpets in the common areas (particularly around the elevators) really neede to be vacuumed desperately. To our surprise, they stayed that way all four days. The rooms were maintained a bit better. The morning breakfast offerings were really sparse and odd. most offerings were a very limited selection of pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Accompanied by condiments that looked like salsa and barbeque sauce?? I didn't try either, but should have thought to take a picture. There's not a lot withing walking distance of the hotel, but there are quite a lot of dining and entertainment options within a short drive. Still, it was a fair price and did the job of providing us a place to sleep, and the staff were very accomodating and helpful.

Excellent hotel. Great accommodation for myself and my work crew. Kaecya at the front desk was amazing during all aspects of my stay. 10/10. I’ll stay here again solely due to her and her positivity and outgoing attitude.

The location is great, right near everything. The rooms were not the best, the door to the bathroom barely closed because the floor was so unlevel, it felt like walking down a hill going from the sink to the tub.

Got a great night's sleep in a very clean, quiet room after driving north for 10 hours. Michael at the Front Desk was phenomenal. I would stay again when traveling thru Scranton.

Hotel was overbooked and had AC issues. When I called to inquire about the extent of the issue I was told I would likely be moved to another hotel for my stay. When I attempted to cancel my stay I was told to do so via the third party booking site I used. I was then ignored by the hotel both through the third party site and again when contacting them directly via email. Terrible service, avoid staying here.

Clean rooms, good breakfast. rooms are on the smaller size, had to ask for the bedding for pull out sofa. Staff is always in back room rather than front desk. Sound proofing could be better, hear elevator dings all night and plans/highway. Disappointed it dosent have a pool.

Relatively great. Minor issues with the room really throw it off. Like broken exhaust fan, flickering lights in multiple spots, etc. Shampoo will leave your hair feeling like plastic. Avoid it. Otherwise, the place is actually solid.

Great hotel though our potty was not well cleaned. Breakfast was good but not if you are a major fruit eater. Guys ... please serve lots of fruits. Many oldrr people are serious fruit eaters.

Only stayed one night but every thing was good. Nice to have a hot breakfast before hitting the road.

The supervisor named Samantha is very friendly. She was amazing helping me get figured out. The hotel was also very clean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. If you're looking for a hotel in scranton, I would recommend this one!

I want to start by saying that this hotel is only getting two stars because you don't pay by the hour. I stay at Marriott's often I am a credit card holder. At one time I was at the top level and a platinum elite member. I spent thousands of dollars staying at Marriott's to earn the status. Apparently they changed their rules and made me start from the beginning which was very frustrating and very disappointing. So let's talk about this hotel. We stayed here over Christmas and it was disgusting. This is the second time We are here. I forgot it was this hotel and booked it again. It Seems like there's a mold problem (I am allergic to mold and I sneeze all the time when I'm here, I'm also experiencing migraines) Here they are trying to patch up everywhere. Wallpaper covering bathroom walls which I know is modern but you can just tell from the floor in the bathroom that there is mold. I remember that from my last visit here. They have tried to mildly updated this one with new shower tile like other Marriotts that are fully updated. Here They put it over whatever was already there and so when you're in the shower/bathtub that is super tight for a small woman, you turn your head you can smash it off some shelf that they put in there that is also falling off the wall. The bathtub/shower does not drain at all. The bathtub was disgusting and I couldn't even give my kid a bath. The fan in the bathroom is so loud you won't even want to turn it on because it'll drive you insane. I guess they forgot to retile The bathroom floor to cover it up the mold. There is no storage anywhere in bathroom. Lately we have stayed at several Marriotts that are literally falling apart. For example Headboards disintegrating It was a nice room very spacious Beds were comfortable. But disintegrating headboards really get it together. I honestly didn't want to sleep in that bed I couldn't imagine how it got that way. Then I looked at the other bed and it was the same way but less damage. This year we finally decided to take a spring break vacation after not going anywhere due to COVID once COVID protocols were lifted we went to residence inn pompano Beach FL. Our flights are delayed. We arrive very late after 1:00Am. We get ready to go to bed. And the Pull out couche collapses with no way to stand up because it is broken metal. At the foot of the bed. Mattresses on both beds and pull outs are very old and uncomfortable. My back and my kids backs hurt for a week after a vacation due to the beds. Not the pull out! I'm sure that didn't feel good either. It had a washer or dryer it was broken. They did bring in a new one that looked exactly like the old one it also was a dual washer dryer so you didn't have to switch machines which sounds cool but is not because it never dries the clothes. The clothes literally take 4 hours to wash and dry a very small amount of clothes. And even after repeating just dry cycles the clothes were still wet we'd have to lay them out on a windowsill. An entire day to wash the clothes for 1 day. That Marriott had more storage in the bathroom but the wood was literally peeling away from the bathroom counter. The vent fans are disgusting to look at They are full of I don't even know what molds dust and anything else you can think of. Housekeeping never came. This is after protocols are lifted and housekeeping should be coming. You don't have to request housekeeping anymore. Housekeeping only came after I requested it. They wouldn't come and take out the trash. They wouldn't leave towels, or they would tell me they were out of them, which meant we never had towels, wash clots or hand towels. I would hang up our towels to dry as every other Marriott has signs that say save the planet. When they would clean they would take the towels that were hung up to dry. The worst part about Broward county Florida. Is that they don't recycle anything at all. They Don't provide recycling cans. Broward county Florida says recycling is too hard. A place literally on the ocean making the planet worse. So disappointed Marriott!

Great location for shopping, restaurants, access to interstates. Great people. Facility needs maintenance from broken weather seals on windows to pot holes in driveway and parking lots. Will be back as very clean and quiet. Great value.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. A big shout out to Ramona she is the bomb.

Possibly the worst Marriott experience I’ve ever had. The bathroom was dirty. The towels stank. The internet wasn’t working which prevented me from getting work done. The receptionist contact her supervisor who said that she was aware of internet issues. If you’re aware of an issue but haven’t fixed it, that’s horrible service! I was told I could call their technical support line. Why would a guest be asked to call a support line for an issue they know already exists? Breakfast was abysmal…eggs were barely edible, bacon was barely cooked. But at least they had oatmeal. Oh wait, no they didn’t. The workers were nice, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1, but the hotel was barely a step up from a low class motel.

Staff were kind but literally scared to sleep in the bed since I found a used band-aid and a pair of socks on the floor, and an empty bag of skittles. Obviously, the room wasn't vacuumed. Breakfast bar had all kinds of crumbs on it, dirty tables, but there was no staff working it, so understandable. Just not clean. Not up to Marriott standards. The hotel could be a nice place, looks like they recently had a remodel, and whoever did it, paid attention to detail. Lastly, our TV turned on but wasn't connected to cable. We used points, so nothing lost, just sleep.

This hotel is located conveniently just off I-81. The rooms seem to have been upgraded. Everything seems to be pretty new. The shower is very spacious. When we got there, they somehow couldn't find our reservations. I had to show them my reservation on my phone to get our room. The breakfast was basic but functional. The gym is very well equipped. All in all, it's a decent place to stay around the Scranton area.

So I arrived late in the evening and confirmed a rate for the night. The next morning I awaken to a bill that is $32 more then agreed to and with a $12 parking fee for a vehicle that I don't have. This Marriott feels that not honouring agreed rates and hidden fees is acceptable. Actually state that hidden fees (parking) are enforced by their ownership. Shameful, be aware of a lot of hidden fees when you wake up to pay the bill.

I gave four stars due to the bathroom door needs to be fitted as you can not close the door properly. There are no grab bars to safety enter or existing the bathtub. Other than the issues with the bathroom the room was clean and comfy. The bed was super comfy! The free breakfast was.efficient with both cold and hot offerings. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate is available for 24 hours. Ice machine is available along with soft drinks and snacks are available also. Beware, there is a parking fee of 12 dollars but I don't see why as there is no parking garage as the hotel sits on a nice size lot. Hands down the most friendliest staff from kitchen, front desk and house keeping! In all I was pleased with my stay

I was informed upon arrival there was a $12 parking fee. This is Scranton, PA. I was for years a Platinum level Marriott member. I will make it my personal mission to avoid staying at another Marriott property, ever. Unbelievable.

Comfy beds. Dark and cold at night which I love. Solid continental breakfast. Incredibly friendly staff. Easily accessible location.

The ceiling/floors are rather thin. Can hear individuals walking upstairs very easily. However the rooms are a great size.

I normally prefer the Residence Inn that is right next door, but it was booked so I tried this Fairfield Inn. It was not a step down at all. In fact, the breakfast was just as good and the room as spacious (sans kitchen).

The hotel was clean but unfortunately the customer service was terrible. They only care about the platinum members. I booked thought booking .com instead of my membership and I was treated like trash on the street by management. When I asked for a late check out I was told no due to other customers checking in early. When I spoke to a manger about it she continued to tell me no other customers complained about the rush calls they provide. I do not recommend this Marriott if you are expecting good customer service.

Check in process was easy, but the room was not the cleanest. The bathroom had hair all over it and the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in a few weeks. The room itself was OK, but the A/C was on a motion sensor, which caused it to get warm during the night. Overall it was decent for the nightly price, but would recommend looking around first.

this place was so convenient to stay at for the night !! was so close to the viewmont mall & restaurants ! stayed here for a few nights ( including weekend days ) & the prices were low !! only thing that sucked about staying here was that there pool wasn’t open at the time , but it was no big deal . the rooms were clean and i liked that the tv’s in the room were newer ! made me actually wanna use the tv for the first time in forever when in a hotel room lol . the front desk lady ( can’t remember her name or else i would credit her ) was very very veryyy heartwarming and treated us very respectfully !!( she was an older woman if that helps ) will return !!

We had a great stay here during or "The Office" getaway. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and we're very kind to our young children while we stayed. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

First The room was really nice. Too many sports channels. No table and chairs in room and not enough outlets. Heating system very confusing. But I had a great time at my stay

I checked in without having a reservation and luckily got a room for the week. I originally had a reservation next door, room wasn't ready and the gym is actually in this hotel. Bobby the Assistant GM was as gracious and welcoming as they come. He's terrific! The gym, is way beyond what I was expecting...in a great way. This gym is bigger and better than the 5 star Marriott in London where then, that was my favorite hotel gym. Now, this one is. I'm afraid work may be taking a back seat...oh my!
