Nice place in an area rich in restaurants. The menu is rich in varied interesting dishes, American style mostly. We had the beef brisket and the surf and turf burger. The burger was delicious, good meat, good bun, tasty fries - 1 shrimp could be cloned. The brisket was nothing special based on the meat as it was not done enough, a bit rough on the edges, but the sides of gurkins and coleslaw were great. The portions are quite large. We had a 30% discount through an online app, so the food was good deal for what we paid - a bit different if you judge by the regular prices, most are beyond mid level. The place is small if people smoke, not really a terrace. They play the same music as El Torito, a way to go closer to American spirit perhaps. Will give 5 stars for the discount offer on top of the quality they have.

We tried both the American and Colombian food and EVERYTHING was heated in the microwave even the Tomahawk steak - which cannot be called a steak as it was served to us in pieces. The only thing that was kind of good was the street corn. The waitress was sweet and attentive to the detail however her colleague was the absolute opposite. The prices are high for the quality of the food they serve. You can eat better for cheaper in the city center with better service - again the girl was very good at her job but her colleague is not cut for this job. Will not visit again.

Best burgers I’ve ever had, while also having a reasonable price. Creative menu, delicious deserts and nicely flavored cocktails. The place looks amazing and has a great vibe. Very good service and quality. Definitely would go again.

It's a nice restaurant, tipically american as it says.The food was good, we had the cheesesteak sandwich, the black burger, the chicken fingers and the ribs.The sandwich would have been absolutely perfect if the beef was softer.The chicken fingers were most likely prefrozen, as the fries, unfortunatelly.Though, the ones made with garlic and herbs, were actually very tasty , so tasty you could almost forget they weren't natural. Overall service very nice, friendly staff.We didn't like the couches, they are terribly unconfortable, they should add some pillows at least because it's impossible to lean back.The food took a while though the restaurant was almost empty.Also it was a bit too chilly inside.A minus for the lack of parking space, especially now when the street is closed for some plumming replacing.It's best to get a taxi.

Food is delicious! We had bbq ribs with sweet potatoes, burger with garlic fries, hot wings. The only thing they could improve is the waiting time for the food and they only have 2 waiters

Great burger with tasty fresh natural fries (not frozen) . Great service and friendly staff. Overall a good experience. If you can get the banjo jack 2 person dish and share it , you won't regret. Its finger licking good

Fine place for a beer and a chat with good selection of spirits, especially mezcal. Friendly staff and you can also get stuff from the food menu of the Mexican place next door, it is the same owner. Recommend this for drinks and a quick bite. When I visit Bucharest I will visit this place, I'm decided.

Doesn't live up to the hype. The "patio" is fully enclosed yet a smoking room. Plenty of space in the actual restaurant, yet we were told that's fully booked; yet at closing time tables were still empty. It's expensive for what it is for Bucharest, though the burgers were fine, and staff, while generally nice, are slow and orders take a while, including drinks. I won't return, but if you enjoy that type of atmosphere, may be worth a try.

For sure, Banjo Jack is one of the good restaurants of Bucharest, and we are going back on a regular basis (mostly because we live nearby). We always enjoy the burgers here, they serve Holsten Weizen (which is always a big plus for a restaurant), and when they had the Colombian menu it was one of the best places to eat out in Bucharest. Sadly, the Colombian chef is not working there anymore, so you're limited to the ustedian cuisine. It is a smoker's place, be aware of that when you reserve a table. As with many places in Romania, they use the law loophole where you can smoke only "on terraces" but the terrace is a fully enclosed structure, with the smoke entering a bit in the non-smoking interior. A ban on smoking at Banjo Jack would be a big plus, and a comeback of the Colombian menu will just transform it into one of the best restaurants in town.

If you love American style cuisine, this is your place. The decor is welcoming, the music is catchy and the high bar stools really makes you feel like you've stepted into an American road side restaurant. The burgers are so good. Among the best I've ever had. Sometimes the service can be a little sluggish, but everything else more than make up for it.

This place allows indoor smoking so if you don't want cigarettes smoke in your face while eating, don't bother visiting this place. In addition the wait for the food is around 30-40minutes so be prepared, me personally ordered a 400g burger, which came as a tiny 80-100g max burger, they just lie in the menu or they weigh the burger with the plate.. The food itself was okay, but the rest was horrible.

How hard is it to make some Buffalo wings? These guys get it right, while hundreds of other shops in Romania somehow manage to screw up this American classic. Kudos to you guys! Also, the pork ribs were amazing, smoked for real, one can feel it! If you guys are missing real American Buffalo wings, this is the spot!

I really don’t understand why people praise burgers here. Meat was awful, buns were cold. I couldn’t even finish my meal. A/C was barely working, it was stuffy. But thanks to the staff, they were really helpful! Anyway I DO NOT recommend!

I was afraid to ask to speak with the chef that they’d bring the microwave … Honestly only the corn was not microwaved from the multiple things ordered from both menus, including the Tomahawk that was already overpriced. Never again. The male waiter was super grumpy, the waitress was amazing and only good thing from the place.

One of the best burgers in Bucharest - their Whiskey burger. Flavourful, juicy and last but not least, huge. Great value for the price!

My experience with Banjo Jack restaurant was very good. The serving was impeccable, food came quick and the wieghter was very carefull to give use us what we need. We made a quick reservation with 3 hours before going there and they were very nice to give us a bigger table than we needed. I recommend to go there for a good stake and a quality whisky!

Great service, good food. Had the 2 person banjo special. The ribs were very good, the chicken was very good, and the brisket was not that great. A lot of fat and it came pretty cold, so not that appealing. Beer is great, got prices for quality. Service was very good. The waiter came fast and was very friendly.

Ok, so i google American BBQ and this place comes up. One of 2 smoking restaurants that i found in Bucharest. I thought I'd give it a try and see if it's as good as back home. One thing I love as you enter into a low and slow restaurant is the smell as you walk in. It gets the mouth watering as you walk from the door straight to the bar for a beer. I opened the door and got hot in the face with some strong overpowering smoke, the issue is that it was cigarette smoke. Not a good start. I bypass the bar and go straight into the enclosed restaurant area. I order the platter for 2 (to be eaten by myself as i visited thus place with a vegetarian) and asked if they could substitute the half chicken for a bit of the pulled pork. To my surprise they said no. Anyway, the vegetarian let the waiter of her dietary requirements and ordered the smoked beans...... They came with pork all mixed through. Anyway, fair to say that don't go above and beyond for their customers. The food itself was ok, but not good enough to drag be back. Everything was dry and the flavour was lacking. However the fitout of the joint of up there with the best I've seen.

Probably the best smokehouse in Bucharest. Not quite the quality of Brooklyn, but very tasty, especially the ribs! Portion size is huge, so be careful when ordering.

We came few friends and had a nice time here. The street food corn was epic! The deep fried avocado was really good. The pork ribs are very soft but not falling from the bone as it should be and a bit lack of flavor but with the sauce it is really good. The buffalo wings are nice but not spicy enough. The pulled pork is lack of flavor but super tender. The brisket is a bit dry and lack of flavor. The Tomahawk we asked for medium got it over well-done.
