We stayed 4 nights in this hotel (family with 2 young children). The rooms were clean and it was visited every day from the cleaning ladies. Towel were changed 2 times during our stay, which is good. The breakfast was really nice and the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station we arrived after the airport. Also there is METRO station just outside the hotel. So I recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Modern building. Good facilities (the best hotel building in this area). Very friendly staff (especially restaurant manager and front dest receptionist). Very good location. Large, clean, and quiet rooms. Very good hot breakfast. Large-area breakfast resturant (both indoor and outdoor).

we stayed at the hotel with a large group and the rooms are really clean and warm. just one star for that. there is no information in the card with the room key about what time and until what time the breakfast is. and be prepared that if you do not come to breakfast at the minute, you will not even be allowed to drink water, they will look at you in a disrespectful manner and ask you to leave as if you were some kind of thief. they do not have a book of complaints and suggestions, and they are sure that their service is the best. but the spoiled mood from visiting Bucharest is guaranteed by this. About situation: the waiter didn't let me make coffee at 10:41. although other visitors were doing it at the same time. I was left without breakfast and even coffee. unprofessional reception as a robot answered that I can only make coffee in a restaurant. not fair service. I will do my best to ensure that our group of more than 60 people will not stay at this hotel again next time.

Dear tourists, be very careful in this hotel! Extremely rude staff with rude manners. Starting from the reception, to the waiters in the bar...full bunch of peasants! Special caution if you use an ATM machine in the lobby! If you want to check how many Romanian Leu you can take from your foreign Visa card, they will definitely steal your money from the card even if you don't accept the offer! They stole $100 from me...thieves!

I had a really good stay at this hotel. Everything was very good. I came to hotel after 23:00 and check-in was fast. The room was clean every day and they even changed towels every day even if it's written they will change it every second day. Breakfast was so good they have so much food you can really choose among a different foods.

Booked a few weeks in advance and got a good price. Check in process was easy and available late in the night. Night watch was an educated and polite person. Breakfast was plenty and a big selection. Coffee was good quality. Rooms were clean and tidy. Minor wear and tear as expected. No Water in the room or room service. They provide a frige but is empty. Water can be purchased at the reception desk. Check out was quick and easy. Crew members Polite and educated. Overal impressed . 9 out of 10

I have to edit my review, the hotel isn't tragic but the rooms could be more clean ( especially the AC which is old and without maintenance) nice reception staff and well prepared but the restaurant ones are most probably without experience . The most annoying thing is the breakfast , if you are a late person don't bother going or paying for it, most probably you will not find anything( they don't refill )and you cannot order something else till 12pm. Location is good if you need a place next to the train station.

We booked for 1 night as we were traveling to Sinaia the next day to ski and this hotel was really close to the train station. The check-in and checkout process went all smoothly and quick, but there were a few things which we didn’t appreciate. The bed mattress was a very small and uncomfortable (definitely needs to be replaced as it seemed we were sleeping on the floor) and the heating/AC was old and didn’t work. The worse experience we had was at breakfast. After having a continental breakfast, we came to the room to pick up our stuff and went downstairs to refill our bottle of water. Once we got there and started to fill our bottle, we were shouted by the staff, which was really embarrassing as there were dozens of guests having breakfast. They then kept saying we couldn’t have it and asked us to pay for a bottle of water at the reception area, which means we couldn’t fill our bottle with tap water from the breakfast area as they thought we weren’t guests… ridiculous. Water should be free for everyone, even if you aren’t a guest. Then the manager got involved, asked for our room number both started to apologize. We didn’t appreciate how we were treated as this was our first time visiting Romania.

Top location for business trips. For tourism too. With car including - big security parking. Young and friendly Staff. Good restaurant, exellent restaurants around. Is category 3 Stars, but with big plus. I prefer! Defiantly.

3 night stay, staff very friendly, location great, all the hotel was immaculate, room clean and comfortable and exactly as website described, no extras like tea and coffee but lobby bar has great facilities. Would stay again. Thank you

Good location (close to the railway station), very good breakfast and good service. The rooms were a bit lacking air/ventilation but for the rest a very good hotel to stay when transiting Bucharest.

First of all, the room I stayed in smelled of cigarette smoke. As a non-smoker, I was very disturbed by the smell. Even though I opened the window, the smell never left the room. Apart from that, your staff working at the bar was very rude. Room cleaning consisted only of making the bed. Even the toilet brush was in the toilet bowl, I took it out. Thank you anyway

Room is hot, cannot cool down, no working air-condition in the room. Open windows full night with street-noise, trying to sleep. Toilet falls apart. Quality has reduced in the last year, unfortunately.

This is the second or third year I have stayed at this hotel. Excellent restaurant (myBistro), very clean rooms, and excellent customer service. All at a low price (especially when you book direct on the hotel website). It is a short walk from the north train station and metro. Several banks, restaurants, and grocery stores are also within a 3 minute walk. And the breakfast..well..it has to be seen to be believed- a huge buffet of delicious foods and coffees. Hope to return next year!

I stayed here a few times when it was an IBIS and it was always a very convenient option after getting off a long train ride from Transylvania or the seaside, when changing trains and when exploring Bucharest. This was my first time staying at the property as the ,,'My Continental' . The rooms are a decent size and nicely refreshed. Staff were helpful and super friendly. Breakfast was not extravagant, but certainly more than decent for this category / price of hotel. Price was excellent booking with an online agency. However posters in the hotel lift and lobby offer a 20% discount for booking direct with the property's own website so will certainly compare the prices offered by the hotel itself for my next booking. Will certainly stay here again. Was very comfortable and convenient. Theres a kettle and water in each room and the bar / restaurant on site was affordable and had great service too. Was a perfect stay.

The rooms are spotless and the hotel's location is ideal for visiting the city using public transport: in the immediate vicinity there are both the metro station and the bus stop. I want to say a few words about the service which was extremely kind and helpful. In fact, after checking out, I realized I had forgotten an object inside the room and the collaborators, after finding it, were immediately ready to provide me with a solution to send it directly to my home. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a very good one day stay at this hotel. Great for short break and close to train station. Breakfast was yummy, rooms clean and comfortable beds.

Three star hotel that offers the comfort and services expected from a three star hotel, for the price you expect to pay in a three star hotel. Moreover, there's a 20% discount for those who book the hotel directly from the hotel's website. The level of safety in this hotel is a bit exaggerated (clients need to to use the access card not only to enter their room, but also for using the elevator and entering the corridor where their room is located). Extras: location. There's a subway station right next to hotel and Gara de Nord (the main rail station in Bucharest) is about 300 steps away. That's good news also for those who need to go to airport, as there are trains from Gara de Nord to airport at every 30 minutes. The breakfast is included in the price of the room and is absolutely OK. There's a shady terrace in front of the restaurant. Overall, this hotel is a very good choice for short stays in Bucharest.

Stayed here a few nights during my Romania travels, great location only few minutes walk around the corner from the main train station making easy access to the airport. They also stored my luggage and we're very accommodating.

Decent choice if you’re in Bucharest for one or two days. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the parking cost is 35 lei for 24 hrs. Now with the negatives: why would you put 1 layer toilet paper?? I’ve seen way worse hotels with better toilet paper selection. This is hard for me to understand. Be careful with the location though. You’re close to Gara de Nord which might be among the shadiest areas in the city.

Superior room does not have a balcony...if you want to serve dinner you have to pay 75 RON/pers for not too much choices, so please order a la carte and the best of the best you don't have where to Park, unless you pay a fee for every single day.For this price...I do not recommend.

I stayed 11 nights at the Hotel MyContinental Gara de Nord in Bucharest after completing my EV6 bike tour across Europe which started in Paris May 19 and finished in Bucharest August 25 (because of the extreme heat). First of all, the Staff at this hotel is fantastic, very professional, extremely helpful and friendly. I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. Great location, near train station where there are restaurants and pubs. Across the street from the hotel was a great restaurant (with fabulous craft beers). The breakfast at the MyContentinal was outstanding, everything you could possibly want for breakfast, they had on the buffet every morning. I had dinner numerous nights at the restaurant in the hotel and service and food was outstanding. Nice big room and comfortable bed. Very fast WiFi in room and TV had English (Discovery, History, Travel and movie channels). Fridge provided in room. The management of this hotel went out of their way to help me find a bike box for my bike when I left the hotel to fly back to Paris (and back to US). They made several phone calls for me to bike shops to inquire about bike box and got me a taxi that I could go pickup the box. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the MyContinental Gara de Nord and highly recommend this hotel!

Overall OK hotel but nothing special at all. The rooms are very clean but kind of old and feel a little bit cheap. There definitely is a feeling that someone has tried to renovate them and did their best with the available resources so I appreciate that. The restaurant is called MyBistro and really is a bistro but does the job. The staff is very friendly and open and the train station is 2 min walk away and the metro entrance is just in front of the hotel. If you need a place to sleep and just spend a little time inside and want to travel by public transport it is perfect. In traffic, the main airport is 35-40min away by taxi.

Hotel is overall good for 3 star but if you get room with windows looking back of hotel you will have every morning awakening with garbage workers, disposing or collecting from approx 5 a.m, so... No sleep after that time...

One male staff member was a bit rude, but the hotel is great, right by the central Station in Bucharest. Very clean and tidy and maybe I haven't travelled much lately but it is very safe, with elevator and hallway doors that don't open unless you have a check in card! Positively impressed 👍
