The amphitheater and the surrounding city are really amazing, definetely worth a visit! The aqueducts can be seen from the city from a hill and you can go next to them, it really looks superb, pay a visit when you are in Aspendos. The view from the hill atop the ancient city is just breathtaking :)

As a tour guide I visit this aqueduct quite often, but it amazes me every time! Just be careful of local women that will give u gifts and then demand money ;)

One of the best views, and absolute ruined history. Hats off to the planners, engineering and the rulers who has suggested in invested in creating historical places.

This is a great historic place to visit. There are various sections, a few best reached by walking from the car park at the main arches along the track that follows the direction of the viaduct across the fields. What is remaining is still very impressive.

One can only wonder the magnificence of the Romans' engineering skills.

not to miss! also visit the other part a few hundred metres further north, with an identical portal, but longer stretches of aqueduct still in place. and much calmer.

Very clingy sellers at the parking lot. Be very accurate not to take anything from them you will feel bad afterwards. The best view is on the right from the parking lot. The historic site is totally worth visiting.

The place itself are nice but the farm or shop next to it are very disgusting and disappointing. Selling fruit in very expensive price and they put them inside plastic washing tray in very hot temperatures not in fridge. No hygienic measurements. Very disgusting

Aspendos is famous for its ancient theater and kilometer-long aqueducts. Excavations in the area have revealed two-storey shops and corridors of large columns that are up to 2,000 years old, revealing the commercial and political importance of the city in that period.

Unique aqueduct that has large portions still intact. It is close to Aspendos amphitheatre so our taxi drive to us to see this. I was very impressed by the shear size of the aqueduct. From the road it looked qite small

Nice place to visit especially for those interested in Architecture. Didn't really get to look around it or take a walk as felt this was meerly a stop off with th coach trip to buy goods, if you don't want to look around and shopping is more for you then fine. Would have been nice to actually take a propper look at the place. The sellers do not get in you way you just have to polity say no thanks.

Nice example of Roman aquaduct with stunning views across the valley. Only now partially intact but still nonetheless impressive. A small orange grove nearby.

Though there's not much left today for people to see but in its days it must have been an amazing architecture built by the Romans. It's almost kind of in the middle of nowhere and if you are expecting a lot then probably you will be a bit disappointed as it's just the ruins of the Aspendos Aquaduct. The orange gardens on your way from here to the Aspendos theatre is also very nice.

😐 8.5 lira entrance fee and a armed guard with a pistol will take you on a 10-minute tour of the cave. You are not allowed to take pictures or use your own flashlight to look at the cave structures. This cave is really quite small and the fact that you cannot take pictures is pretty lame. Also the gu...
