Very interesting, fun and unique place to hike or spend the day. Parking is 45Tl, entrance is 16Tl for adults. Just a bit after you enter, you will find a picnic and rest area where there’s food and drinks (meals, corn, ice cream, doughnuts, coffee/tea…)… lots of tables and benches in the water… and they also either sell or rent rubber shoes for the canyon (renting one pair is 60Tl). Honestly, we hiked the canyon barefoot and really enjoyed it, it wasn’t painful or unpleasant for us… but most people either rented/bought water shoes or wore street shoes. The water in the canyon is not deep, maximum knee height, otherwise barely any water (in summer). The water at the picnic area is absolutely ice cold because of fresh strong streams coming in. People have fun or bathe in the ice water, it’s exhilarating! Once you pass the turbulent cold water (there’s a rope to hold on to), then everything is calm and the water is warm. The canyon is about 1.5km… after that they recommend to go further only with a guide. Guides are waiting at the 1.5km point. I don’t know how much it is. At the very entrance of the park they offer free hard hats/helmets… most people don’t use one but you can if you want. The canyon gets more and more narrow and interesting as you go. The way back is the same way you go. It’s cool enough inside the canyon in summer, and I didn’t wear a hat or sunglasses. I recommend to put your phone in a waterproof case and to have a backpack. Have a swimsuit and towel too for the cold water bathing. We stayed there a while, maybe 4hrs… to sit and enjoy and also took many photos inside the canyon. I really recommend seeing this place it’s refreshing change from the beach and summer heat!

It was fantastic. One of the best places to see the power of nature. 5 or 15 km long, if I am not wrong. First 500 meters, you can go without the instructor "with low risk for your health and your property". But there are a few disadvantages: drowned walls and very annoying guides: they try to stick to you even for the first 500 meters. For the all-way long, they want 750TL. For 500m - 50TL per person. I advise you to take closed shoes with which you can go to the river and which river won't take with a strong flow. Also, you will need a plastic pack where you will put your backpack or other your stuff and be calm about your property getting wet. Also you have chance to get down of the river with little personal round rafts. 200TL for a person. In my opinion, it doesn't worth it. It was pretty short "rafting" (~15min), very safe (the river is 60sm deep), and the flow was calm.

A great escape from the heat of sun during hot summer weather. Make sure you don’t miss this place as it is on the top of Ölüdeniz check list. First 1000 m is accessible and easy for everybody but after that if you want to complete the journey, you have to walk and cross the water stream. There is a nice café inside where you can half hot and cold drinks, corns ice, creams, and snacks.

Lovely area. The views are amazing. Unfortunately no one was allowed to walk through the canyon due to the amount of water from the rain the night before. In hindsight, it's probably best to check the weather report not just for the day you travel on, but for the day(s) before you arrive. Parking was no problem. Entrance cost 10lira for locals and foreigners. The price is the same regardless of whether you can walk the canon or not. Take water shoes etc and packed lunch. Would love to return..

Visited in July. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I love valleys n ravines like these. It is doable with a baby on your back, passing through the gushing river, trekking through the canyon, it was beautiful and a lot of fun. Really cool / cold water hence perfect for hot summers. Alot of water activities available here too, plus great fish and natural pomegranate juice!!

Walking through the cold water on the floor of the gorge felt so good. Not a strenuous hike with only 2 places were a help to climb upon. It's not dangerous, so hiring a guide is pointless. The waterfall is the same. Nice little restaurants choose wisely for value for money. Many activities for hire. Definitely worth a visit before 0930 or after 3pm to avoid the tour buses

Great fun. Don't bring a decent camera if you want to walk in the gorge. I went as far as the water coming up to my waist and then I turned back as didn't want my camera gear getting wet. Would love to repeat in a pair of old trainers. Don't even attempt in flip flops, either buy or rent the jelly shoes they have there. Great fun and beautiful scenery.

Excellent way to spend the afternoon, walking along the wall pathway into the Gorge/Canyon. It's an easy stroll, but being in the water. 🤔. ice cold and slippery boulders should you want to cross over to walk further into the canyon.Nice place to relax and chill out.The area around the Gorge has your usual trinket stalls, restaurant's,and some very nice chill out areas also, where you can loung around in the water.

Beautiful spot, would be a nice walk but the water was high. Walking the board walk you can get to spot that has some seating was very nice. I believe that the cost was around 13 TL. We would recommend stopping as the gorge is incredibly beautiful. 3btraveler

Spectacular nature, very fair entry price - 23TL for adult. I was here mid day in late October and there was only small crowd, the water was shin level high. Bring (or you can also rent here) water shoes! The stones are very uncomfortable and often slippery without. One star minus because of the "professional guides" harassing and insisting that it isn't possible to go to the waterfall without paying for their service. Price started at 25 eur and when i repeatedly said no, they said why not, come on. After i took a few photos price was 15eur. I refused to pay out of principle. The park administration should do something about this shady practice.

Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

I would definitely recommend this place. The views are stunning, and they make you feel so small. 😅 the walk trail is pretty long itself, but if that's not enough, you could take an instructor and go further getting a bit of rock climbing experience. Just keep in mind- the price that the instructor gives you is never the last price... 😏😉

It's extremely interesting place with amazing views. Water is quite cold, it's better to go in a sunny warm day.) Pay attention that most of the road is covered by dirty water- it's better to buy or to take special watershoes. And don't be afraid of the guide- he will definitely make you trip more comfortable and safe. Price is 18 lira for entrance, 50 lira for boots and 150 lira for guide per person( at least that's what we were asked to pay)

Second time visiting this gorgeous place. Amazing. wonderful. Nice Cool hiking in a very hot day through the canyon. My strong advice is to visit early in the morning when less crowded to enjoy it more. By noon it is really crowded and the smoking everywhere bothers so much. I hope authorities will ban 🚭 in such natural place. Bring your rubber shoes, waterproof pocket for your cellphone. Entry is 13 turkish lira per July 2022. Highly recommend. .

A very unique and enjoyable experience. Definitely needs to be on the bucket list of anyone visiting Turkey. Walking through the canyons is a surreal and humbling experience. Trust me when I say that no amount of pictures ever do justice to the magnanimity of the place. Go ahead and experience it for yourself! There are some great eateries at the entrance of the park. The souvenir shops are beautiful and have some really unique items not overly priced. If you are adventurous then you can even enjoy a 5km river rafting experience

This is a deep canyon. You are walking over the suspension bridge to a water source. You can drink water from where the water comes out. A nice place to cool off on hot summer days. After that, you cross the river and start walking in the canyon. Be sure to have shoes suitable for walking in water. It is difficult to pass some places in the canyon. After a certain point, do not walk without professional support.

Beautiful canyon with spectacular views. There is a waterfall and to get to another part of the canyon requires to walk through the river. The water is extremely cold and current is strong. Better to get a special water shoes before going inside the canyon ( rent for 50TL or buy for 100TL)

Entrance was 13 lira in July. You then walk along the raised platform where you’ll reach an area with sweetcorn and ice cream. If you carry on to the water fall you will cross the cold section. Don’t be put off by the temperature as the further you get it is warmer. You need to wear clothes you don’t want to get wet, especially if going as far as the waterfall. Shoes are important as flip flops could easily get washed away. It takes about an hour to reach the waterfall and slightly less back. There are two bits where you have to be helped up by other people but you don’t need a guide. The parking spaces are confusing as some you pay for and some further away ones you don’t. If you want to be near you pay about 40 lira for the close one. You can also do rafting and visit the other gorge.

It was a very fun but dangerous adventure walking through the canyon. If you wanted to get to the canyon, you’d had to walk down in a very, extremely cold cascading water, running down from some slippery rocks. Once down you have to walk a bit through the canyon to get to the waterfall. Which was cool. However, to get to the actual waterfalls you needed a guide. an expensive one who decided, depending where you are from, how much you should pay. He told us we needed to pay €10,- per person (300 TL per person). We passed.

Absolutely gorgeous. Awesome brute power of the nature is felt there and not even the worst restaurants in the world can change my appreciation of this fact. Must see place but of course it's better to visit in spring or autumn when there are not so many people with you to share this experience. It is not about the food or drinks or service - it's about feeling the atmosphere so don't let yourself be distracted.

Our visit to Saklikent National Park was awesome! Even in the off-season, the folks there were incredibly friendly. They went the extra mile by providing us with river shoes, making it possible for us to explore the canyon in December. Kudos to the team for making our experience so enjoyable and accommodating! The only "chill" part was the water – super, super, super cold! But it definitely added an adventurous twist to the experience. 🥳

Great place to visit if you enjoy more active experiences. Definitely get yourself silicone socks/shoes which are being sold before the entrance and avoid colours. The clay itself can stain so wear black or older clothes. An experience to be remembered! Recommend it!

A very beautiful place! One moment spoiled the impression: in a difficult area, they charge for help. While you are trying to climb on a sliding stone yourself, the Turks will not give you a hand until you pay. Foreigners are examined from top to bottom and told the fee (ours was $ 30 per person). Unpleasant, turned around. It is better to raise the entrance fee to the canyon, build a staircase. This moment spoils the image of the place and people.

As a place its beautiful the naturalspringwateris very cold and refreshing, the entrance is 23tl per person which is reasonable. The only thing that drove me crazy are the prices inside, 15 tl for a cub of tea is toooo much , 50 tl for a corn is just crazy. Plus you have to pay 50tl to park the car is also too expensive. It was a great experience for me , but they have to lower the prices, its just a rip off😤

This is a beautiful place to go. My advice is to get there first thing and you need to wear surf shoes, def not flip flops. It prob takes a good couple of hours to walk as far as you can in, then sit by the river and watch the people go down on rubber rings with a cool drink.

It’s really beautiful here, the gorge goes deep inside with scrambling through water and climbing rocks, similar to kannara falls in Zion :). They do need to put a strict visitor limit here, it was absolutely packed. Almost hard to enjoy the beauty of the area

Beautiful place, and walking through the fast flowing river in the gorge is exhilarating. A few places to eat and some activities (I loved the Fish Therapy!) so definitely an excellent day out

We went as a party of nine as part of a safari excursion. It was exhilarating, exciting and a bit of an adventure. When the water is high as it was after a couple of days of rain it is difficult to keep your feet in places. The water can be very powerful and extremely cold, crystal clear in places and literally like a mud bath in others. Take a spare set of clothes because you are going to get soaked, you will also need strong beach/water shoes or something sensible that won't come off your feet in the water. You can actually hire or buy these on site if you prefer. Prepare to get wet and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

  • 5/5 Saifullah K. 1 year ago on Google
Just amazing. The canyon is a natural beauty. The walk is fun. Tubing is also an option for great fun. Take shoes that you won't mind getting wet and very dirty. Otherwise buy or rent water shoes from there.

We visited just canyon with waterfalls. Wanted to swim, but water was too cold. Length of canyon about 4 km. We had walking on the water, feeling was amazing, but feet are completely frozen. In this case we didn’t walk long distance. For entrance we paid 13 TL per person.

A well serviced beautiful canyon park. An immersive experience in the nature, you can dip your feet in the cool water, go rafting , or ride the above water swing. Safe for children, you can take a helmet at the entrance. There is a low entry fee.

Worthy to see in Turkey. Around 1 hour walk. Entrance- 10 TRL. Buy or rent special shoes near the entrance.

  • 5/5 Kamilah S. 2 years ago on Google
Extremely beautiful walk through the canyon. Cheap entrance fee (10 T£) and parking (15 T£) . The water is gorgeous but very cold. We made it through the first part fine by ourselves. Then this annoying guide forced his way on us, promising to take us to a waterfall. The waterfall was uneventful and we should have been more firm with the guide and told him “No, thank you”. He ended up asking us for 200 T£ which was totally not worth it and much more than we paid for parking and entrance. Don’t get scammed by the fake guides! However taking these beautiful pictures is way worth the 50 T£ at the front. You can also park for free a little further up.

Must see location if your anywhere in the area. It was beautiful and the water is amazing. Lovely cafes to have a drink while sitting in the water. Be. Areful of the guides inside offering to help you on treacherous bits, they have a fixed price in mind their not saying and will argue you with you. You can't get to the waterfall through the gorge unless your ready for a serious scramble on tall wet rocks. And bring water shoes or buy them outside.

Loved this place. Visited in Nov' '21, you start walking along a wooden platform/path. Then rent footwear which I strongly recommend. Fortunately I had suitable footwear, you the cross a fairly strong flow of water holding onto a safety rope. Once on the other side, you criss-cross along the canyon walking through cold 'mostly' ankle deep water. There is one route in/out. Kids can go a short way mostly unassisted. Ideal for the warmer season but still very enjoyable in November.

  • 5/5 Yasir K. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful place. Must visit but not depending deal to go with infants. You need water shoes to explore the whole water way. Do visit the restaurant and enjoy the chickens and lake side food in a very comfortable environment.

  • 5/5 Nasrin Y. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing national park. The food by the cennet restaurant for lunch with the ducks was so beautiful and full of hammocks and looked like a little slice of heaven. We had breakfast near the water and came early. Breakfast is self serve a little confusing for tourist but was delicious. We then saw the waterfalls and you need water shoes to go past the canyons. There are corns ice cream etc and places to sit down and relax. We came back down to the breakfast area and got on the light water rafting which was really fun and beautiful. Overal amazing trip. There’s a dolmus (bus) that takes you back to fethiye for 20 a person.
