A bit far from my customers, but the traffic is not bad in rush hour, so that's a plus... The rooms are very nice & well equipped, and the service is very nice... However I have to point out that the gym is not very well equipped, and the food quality in general is subpar... Especially the breakfast, the pastries are very stale & the coffee is very weak.. Update: food quality has been improving lately.. Still I will go back for the comfortable rooms & quiet area...

Despite being in a room with view, i couldn’t sleep because of the external noises! Isn’t it suppose to be a soundproof room ? The hotel is on a highway, people outside never sleep early and cars are always annoying ! The hotel doesn’t have interior rooms to avoid the noise! I am paying to rest and could not find my rest in this hotel ! SORRY I’m not sorry ! i also put a DND tag but was surprised that a housekeper entered my room ! Tbh, Not worth its value

Superb hotel and just impeccable staff. It is like a second home to me. The rooms are way bigger than the standard, and it has everything I need as a business traveler. No complaints whatsoever. Some, however, might find the location far from the center. I personally like it because I can link to all the main highways with minimal traffic.

Quite far from city, but good if you want to stay near DQ. Limited food options for Indian cuisine. But otherwise a very good hotel.

rooms furnitures a bit old? like the carpet its like 5 years old, but its not bad the hotel is quite and cozy overall service, the guys are very helpful, but the laundry usually takes more than they say the location, well theres absolutely no activities around it, if you came for business nearby then its fine, for having fun around nope I wouldn't recommend food is good there

It was a lovely experience, buffet had alot of varieties and all of them were delicious. Live bbq and oasta stations were superb, serving hot pasta and grilled meat all the time. Desserts had alot of options. Staff were extra polite and generous constantly serving guests, clearing tables and refilling buffet items. I Definitely recommend it

A nice product overall.. the best thing about the hotel is the people.. everyone is nice smiling and helpful .. some staff could be more professional (I got a "Hello who's speaking ") from guest services and they rarely answer anyway Food is average they could certainly improve that although they have very good baked goods The hotel is NOT clean.. PERIOD.. Ive never seen anything like that.. you could clearly see it in the public areas and room cleanliness is so average.. housekeeping should do a better job They certainly need a bigger Gym or at least gym hours for ladies .. nothing in the recreation centre is for ladies, no lockers pool or any of the other spa services... but at least the gym is open for everyone 24/7

Unusually offensive "hospitality" clerks -- with the exception of the cafe staff. The night front desk and valet crew especially seem to have no motion of how to treat guests. The location overall is great, across the street from the magnificent Via Riyadh.

Staff at front desk were great. The room is comfortable and clean. However, the hallway to the rooms are dated and have several different smells including smoke in a non smoking hotel, BO from some cleaning staff. Breakfast isn't included with a charge over 100 SAR. It's not hot it's warm to cold and that's the cooked food.

Came here for coffee, quiet lobby with overall good ambience. Perfect for meetings. It's a bit far away from the center of the city & it's traffic which is a plus

Stayed here several times - always enjoyed. It is a very well maintained property. Rooms are of decent size and the beds are very comfortable. On this particular trip, even though we stayed for one night, the service was extraordinary for a small help we asked at the front desk. The gentleman working went beyond to cater to our request. Would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone likewise.

The place itself is old and very dark in the rooms--I think I got kind of depressed here. There also isn't really a good place to sit in the lobby. We also felt that the service was quite rude most of the time or condescending and even judgemental at times. We didn't feel comfortable approaching or interacting with the staff. By the end of the stay was so relieved to leave here. The location is good near the DQ, you can even walk there if you want. I would only recommend this place for a short stay where you will mostly be outside the hotel--if you are looking for a "second home" sort of a place this is certainly not for you. Lastly, you cannot access the pool as a woman. They do not even offer 1-2 hours a day. Especially strange for a hotel next to the DQ.

Nice and not so expensive place to stay with the added bonus of being next to the DQ without being in, so much easier and faster to go in and out.

I often travel here for work and its a good hotel but an old one and in the outside of the city. The rooms are decent size with basic amenities included. The service i find is a bit slow. Everytime i call room service for anything they either do half the job or they take ages and atleast 2 followup to complete even as simple as asking for cutlery in the room. Last time it was too much when they said we will charge you for the cutlery in the room. I mean how is this even expected from Marriott brand. The only downside i see is that there is no vegetarian options in the in-room dining. Its 95% non vegetarian menu and hardly any vegetarian food.

Spacious rooms. Super friendly staff and I have to mention by name a young man named Saad alSultan سعد السلطان Breakfast is a 5 star hotel meal.

Was there for a ceremony our company has organized, all what was organized by our private company made the vibes great. What was made by the Hotel is not. The space is good, the hall where we had the assembly was clean. The food is not delicious at all and tasteless, only the sweets were good. The toilets were so dirty and water at the floor. Me and my friends had a gastroenteritis the same day.

Although they claim to be a five-star hotel, I wouldn't give them more than three stars. The reception staff were not very welcoming, and the furniture and accessories were of low quality. The bathroom tiles were somewhat broken like and looked dirty and very cheap one, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. During my stay, I had to call maintenance at least five times for issues with the mini-fridge, safe locker, bathroom shower, and so on. We don't even expect these issues from a 3-star rated hotel, let alone a supposed 5-star hotel. Overall, they need to make significant improvements to their facilities and services to truly live up to their supposed 5-star status.

We had an international buffet... it was great, both vegetarian and non vegetarian options are available. Live bbq and fresh pasta stations were included in the buffet system.

Very poor, in many ways. We went for Fatoor and the overall verdict... So poor, the service (non-existent), the food plenty of choice but zero flavour, attitude towards the customer (needs attention). The best food and service was the pasta bar chef (Mohammed) and Arabic dessert plate (Ahmed) outside in the garden area. These 2 gentlemen are truly representatives of Hospitality, the rest didn't even care. What seemed like a mini army of waiters literally standing or walking around (only inside, completelyignoringthe guests outside) doing very little unless requested/ instructed. Members of staff walking (not serving) around the tables outside smoking (with a cigarette !), I do understand they're humans but not in front of the guests and children. If this is what we see, good God what don't we see.. 4 star Hotel in desperate need of major changes to training and supervision understanding.

Years ago we stayed at this hotel and we absolutely loved it! Super clean and the stuff is very friendly! A few month ago, I attended the wedding there and had the same pleasant experience!

Above all the nice things at this hotel, Qaisar, the guy at the Omelette Station at Olea Restaurant, is the best Omelette maker I have ever met!

Worst service I have experienced so far. In general long waiting times for any service. Even after paying the whole hotel bill, you can not write food on the room but you have to pay on the spot. Food was bad. Very unfriendly staff, I had to wait for my suitcases forever while I had to go to the airport because they were not able to find them.

I had a wonderful stay here this past May. My trip started off on the wrong foot when I lost my phone in an Uber on the way to the hotel. The hotel staff was extremely helpful to me, friendly, and very accommodating under these circumstances. The facilities were very nice as well. I also loved the breakfast. I was a fan of the muesli in particular. Really need that recipe!

Not the best experience I had in a Marriott owned hotel. I called at midnight to make a reservation got transferred to call center which made the reservation for me only to get shocked that there is no reservation whatsoever when checking in so I had to book the regular rate from the front desk. The next day we asked them to clean the room after we left at noon so we can come back and find a clean room, came at around 6 pm to grab something from the room when I realized that the room still not cleaned I asked them again, and when we came back at 1 am THE ROOM STILL NOT CLEAN 😡at this moment all we needed is a sleep not waiting for housekeeping to clean the room, so they offered to switch the room, it’s a solution but we were very exhausted all we needed is a sleep, the same night, even though our floor is a Non smoking floor but still smell smoke everywhere. They brought some air refresher though. Room rate usually doesn’t include breakfast. Their swimming pool and beds however were great.

Would I recommend this hotel to a friend? No. Would I say here again knowing what I know? No. Checkin took forever as there was not enough people working the front desk. The initial room I was given was a smoking room - I didn’t know they even existed any more. After getting another room, the key card I was given didn’t work. When I finally got into my room and went to sleep, a hotel employee entered my room with his key card. When I asked what he was doing he said he was there to fix the TV even though there was nothing wrong with it.

Pretty good hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Jesus who is an absolute star! Rooms are spacious and comfortable and cleaned very well each day! Breakfasts are good and the staff try very hard to make everything work!

The hotel is situated on strategic location. However, my experience in this hotel was very disappointing. The room was dusty and the carpet, bed linen, and towels are full of hair. The room service menu is limited and the quality of food was below average. At Your Service, the guest service center where you should inquire and place orders for housekeeping and in room dining, was not available most of the time, you have to dial the number for several times until someone picks up the phone, I've tried it in different timing and the result is almost the same every time. On the other hand, the team members that I have encountered with were in general polite, supportive, and friendly with minor exceptions. I guess, the hotel's management must go back to the basics in hospitality, and ensure that the rooms are clean, food quality is good, and service team is available to answer the phone. By the way, in my second week, I have received a call from the guest relations asking about my feedback about the hotel, and I've reported everything, but nothing has really changed, though, my stay at the hotel was a lengthy one and I had no other choice but to stay there for the whole period.

This is my first and last time to stay at this hotel. It was a very bad experience due to the following: • I have requested to stay at a non-smoking room and there was none available and they haven’t told me prior arriving. • The restroom is full of hair and found not clean. It is sad that this is a part of Marriott family. I don’t recommend at all.

Highly recommend especially if you are going to visit Al Safarat. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. The male gym is great and have a large swimming pool. The female gym however need improvement. The business center is very convenient.

Central and very comfortable. Not the five star experience but will do the job if you are there and very busy in town. Have a basic restaurant in the hotel. But why eat in when there are so many places to eat in Riyadh!

Very good hotel, however, do not think to stay there if you are driving a car in the summer. You will be walking in the heat under direct sunlight when the temperature is high to reach to your car.

Tv was not working in room. Swimming pool smelly and no control of children. Need more attention especially for name such as Marriot. Area is so quit and got plenty of car park. Some of which are shaded.

We love to talk about food. We agree that food is a necessity of life. For some people, it’s their need. It’s their passion to make new dishes and excel as a chef; for some, it’s just something they have to eat to survive. From gathering around campfires to formal dinners, food brings people together worldwide. The best and fastest way to learn about another culture is often through its food.

Located in the diplomatic district this is a the best in price to performance. Amazing buffet, spacious and well equipped rooms, very skilled staff and a nice lounge. For me this is a 5 of 5 in every category.
