Great place with a eclectic crowd. Open air dinning or inside with A.C. The food is awesome and large portions serving local beers on tap. We were just in town for business, I found this place via Google. But if I'm ever back, I know where I'm going to eat.

Great food and atmosphere. Best brunch spot around for sure. Friendly staff to where it almost feels like family when you are there. Don’t let the exterior fool you, clean inside as well as the restrooms. Parking is a little tight but not much of a problem as there are two sides to park on. Inside and outside seating. They also serve popular brunch cocktails along with their own signature cocktails. Definitely a place to stop by to enjoy.

Been here twice. 2019 and now (may 2022). Firstly the Jambalaya was perfect. However, the fried Shrimp Po Boy fell short to the high expectations I had after my great 2019 experience. The difference between the two? The bread. The 2019 PB was served in a white/white fresh sub that honestly tasted like it was out of the oven. The 2022 was served in a brown/white sub that was not fresh at all. The bread should be the most important part of any sandwich, no matter how good the ingredients.

The food was delicious! The beignets were the best. The only reason I gave this place a 4 star is the service. Your name is called over a speaker when your order is ready. I thought they called my name so many times. Weird there were so many J names on this day. The first time I went to the counter,, the server told me that I was up next, but then they called at least 3-4 names after that. I probably wouldn't have thought they were calling my name had they not told me that I was next. By the time I went to the counter for the 3rd time thinking they called my name, there was a hint of an attitude. Strangely enough previous reviews raved over the service, but not the case with my service. If I were to eat here again, it would definitely be a to go order.

Food was 🔥. We shared the bananas foster and beignets. Everything I saw come out looked amazing. The staff was super polite and quick. Bartender told me this was a slow day which amazed me because we couldn’t find parking. I rarely give 5 stars to anybody hit this place is 💯 Legit.

Went for Sunday brunch, fast service and very friendly staff. The drinks were good, my wife and I had mimosa’s. My food was fantastic and my wife enjoyed hers. I had never had beignets before and was not disappointed with them.

I dont even know where to start! The service and workers were so nice and greeted us like we were regulars. This was my first time in Louisiana and I've always wanted to try gumbo because I've heard mixed things. It was so DELICIOUS! My boyfriend got a po' boy, which is also something we never had and it tasted DELICIOUS as well lol. Then for dessert we got something they call the diabetic that was also amazing, the beigents were also something I've always wanted to try and they were soo good! They are also dog friendly with water bowls out too. I wish we had something like this in California there's nothing to even compare to. If I ever get to go back to Louisiana I'm definitely coming back here!

Absolutely phenomenal. Parking is a bit squished but inside the AC is crisp and the woman at the front register was the absolute sweetest. Everything we ordered from shrimp to crawfish to the beignets were all delicious and not too expensive. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stop back by on our way back (we're on a road trip). Phenomenal place. Seriously. Everyone was super friendly.

The experience was pretty great overall! Customer service here is amazing, and they make sure to make you feel welcomed. The fried crawfish was amazing, it came with a lot of sauces that matched the crawfish well. I would recommend most of the dishes that contained seafood(shrimp, crawfish, catfish) especially the poboys. Beignets were amazing! The only fault that I have is that the dishes that included rice are dry and dont taste the best.

I really liked this place. Great food with local plates. I ordered a gumbo something that had shrimps, sausage, fish soup served over a bed of rice which was actually quite good. The cashier/waiter girl was extremely nice, and so was the cook. They have a desert which I don't remember the name, but was like a french toast, but fried. That was good. I don't usually take photos, but for this one I had to take one. I agree with one of the comments that it should be considered as a diner, and a good one.

The food made my taste buds dance, delicious!!! A kind man came around checking on tables several times, he even brought my son a freshly made biscuit!! Their biscuits are out of this world, not crumbly and not greasy. My daughter had their boudin sausage with biscuits and gravy, I wanted to drink the gravy it was so good. My entire family enjoyed their plates, will definitely try this place again if we're in the area. I don't remember how much eat plate was, but we spent $52 for all 4 us to eat.

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised with how great the food was! The beignets were hot, fluffy and delicious. They would rival any beignets from New Orleans any day! I also had the crawfish etoufee, and it was also wonderful. It tasted fresh and flavorful. My husband throughly enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger po’boy as well!

LOVED the gumbo! Great place in a old gas station, food was amazing and authentic. Causal chill atmosphere, we stopped on a coast to coast road trip and if we are ever in the area again we will come back for sure!

Incredible! Some of the best tasting food I've ever eaten. At least in my top 5. Not sure why there are any lesser ratings. They could have cussed me out and I still would give them 5 stars!

Mac and cheese was very flavorful, but also very greasy... Soaked up several paper towels worth of oil, but it was delicious!! The desserts were the best part, beingets were fresh and crispy, bananas foster was boozy and a good contrast of hot and cold. I also got the crawfish etoufee and seafood gumbo. It was way too salty for my personal taste, but I think that is just a me problem as I am sensitive to salt. Would definitely come back for the desserts.

Great place to visit! We arrived around 10 am on a Saturday and we were the only ones there. Everyone was super nice. Just know that before 11 AM they only serve coffee and beignets. They were fabulous!!! So warm, pillowy and yummy.

Drove from Missouri to Texas, decided we wanted some Cajun food, so we came to Shreveport. The food was delicious, and the portions were plentiful. It didn't disappoint.

Found this place on a business trip, great seafood, I had the catfish entree and it was delicious, I was expecting 2 catfish fillets as per your usual fried catfish comes. They put a twist on it and cut the catfish into thin strips, bread each individual strip and fry it. Super delicious a must try when coming to town. Definitely coming back here in the future.

Do not miss out on visiting Marilyn’s for coffee and beignets and be sure to visit with the owner, “Bozz”. On the day we went, playing on his love of curries, he and the staff had prepared a yellow Thai curry with prime rib for lunch! HIGHLY recommended..

Food was amazing and people were amazing. Super glad we stopped here for lunch before our trip back to Dallas ! Since we got there 20 mins before lunch time we enjoyed beignets and coffee first , super yummy . Definitely recommend 5 STARS ⭐️ place for sure

I got the chance to ask the chef what she wanted to make. I told her I eat everything and just suprise me. And oh boy was it good. I don't think what she made was on the menu, but it was like a Shrimp Etufee with a creamy sauce and a little spicy. It was great.

This place will be somewhere I stop every time I go to Natchitoches! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is down home, never meet a stranger type place. Prices and plate size are phenomenal!

I had a poboy and it tasted really good. But to be 100% honest, I felt the bread to be a bit dry. Plus I ordered one with NO lettuce, but something went wrong, because there was lettuce! Maybe some miscommunication?

The smoked duck and chicken gumbo was amazing. The fried beignets were fresh and yummy.
