I love wine. Particularly in good company and in places that have that feeling of calm, reverie, relaxation of senses in the evening. And Sibiu adds to this with its own charm. Wine Not is one of those places. Small enough to be a cosy, even romantic wine place. Service is good and having a talk about wines becomes a pleasure. The selection of wines is good, with Romanian, Moldavian, Italian and French wines. A few New World ones also found room on the shelves. So give it a try during the evening.

Very cute wine store that also offers wine by the glass and this excellent and generous ‘wine flight’. Plenty of local wines and also some boutique beers and international wines. A lovely place to sit and have a drink at the end of the day.

Fantastic selection of wine, great prices, and to add the bread and Brie... it's heavenly.. Dennis was fantastic and had so much knowledge about Romanian wines and wine in general.

Haven't been inside because of Covid. But still the terrace is excellent, especially on a weekend evening when the city is lazy. Whine variety is limited, but enjoyable.

The best place we found to explore Romanian wine. We had their generous flight of 5 wines but there's also a uniquely long (15-20) list of premium local wines by the glass.

If you love wine, go to Wine not! We may have gone a bit wild and ordered 3 tasting flights but it was a Saturday evening after all 🤣. Really great way to try all the delicious Romania wine regions and the flights are thoughtfully put together. I would say its a lot of dry wines (but I think that's indicative of Romanians grape varieties) however some really interesting glasses. Also we had some nibbles to accompany the wine and they were very tasty. I'd recommend the sharing meat and cheese platter!

This is a great wine bar with a fantastic selection of local and international spirits and wines. The staff are very helpful (speak Romanian and English) in being able to recommend something for you next evening.

Large variety of wine. Good serving. The atmosphere was not best due to music witch sounded like warm of for club and this trained some other guests to loudly speacking.

dont let the name fool you. this is a serious good winebar. we had some amazing wines with a nice platter of local meats and cheeses. great terrace and friendly service

If you like wine and snacks, but don't want to commit to a bottle, this is your spot. They have an extensive selection of wines available by the glass including tasting flights. You can't have wine without snacks and their charcuterie options are incredible. They have indoor and outdoor seating and blankets in case you get cold. Overall, a fantastic spot and great find. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable (they even let us charge our phones). Strongly recommend!

Loved it here. We went twice and got wine tastings, some bottles, and food. Everything was great and reasonably priced.

Really gorgeous wine bar with delicious local wines and food. The Transylvanian wine tasting we had was amazing, and the cold cuts they serve are cured on site! The bar man was kind and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this for anyone visiting Sibiu!

Love the ambience of this quaint little shop that sells a large variety of wine and spirits. I particularly like their tasting menu which allows guests to try different options. The cheese platter was alsp delectable. What truly made the difference for us is the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. The girls were very helpful and gave good suggestions. Service was tip top, will definitely return!

Fantastic wines, lots of different sets of 5 to taste or by the glass if you prefer, tastings are very reasonable (50-80ish leu), also some great snacks, a perfect wine bar.

The Italian prosecco is the absolut perfect start into the afternoon and the small piața is just enough life to make you feel like you're the queen or king for a day watching the world go by! We really liked the atmosphere, thanks!

Pros: Lovely terrace, good wine selection at fair prices. Cons: The cheese and pastrami platter for two is definitely overpriced for the average quality it offers (store-bought low range cheeses, 3 dried figs or plums, one scattered walnut). P.S. careful with your personal contact info - the bar owner contacted me on my personal e-mail (that I used for the reservation) in order to scold me for this review and shame me for not buying a wine bottle to go as well (even though we ordered two tasting packages and one platter for two).

Very helpful and kind staff. I was looking for a specific type of wine to give as a gift. They let me taste the wine before buying it and showed me all the options. I really appreciated that. Helps you make the right choice. Prices are also ok. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice place to come for a drink or wine tasting. Away from the crowded squares, but still in the city center. Affordable prices, a must go in Sibiu.
