Mount Uhud is a mountain north of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is 1,077 m (3,533 ft) high and 7.5 km long. It was the site of the second battle between Muslim and unbelievers. The Battle of Uhud was fought on 19 March, 625 CE, between a force from the small Muslim community of Medina, in what is now north-western Arabia, and a force from Mecca.

Mount. Uhud is located in Medina , just 4 k.m far from Masjidun Nabawi( The prophet's mosque). It is a historically important place for Muslims. The uhud war was happened here during the time of prophet Muhammed. Today lots of people visiting here every day. The amazing view of glowing reddish stone can be see during the time of sun set and sun rising. The mount got it's name Uhud due to its location. Because it spread through 8 k.m length and 2 k.m width with out having connection with the sorrounding hills.

Beautiful Red Mountain. The Prophet SAW said I love this mountain and this mountain loves me.. 7 Miles long and very Blessed place to go. Close to this mountain is the battlefield of Jhung e Uhad where there are graves of 70 companions,in the centre there are 3 prominent graves i-e Abdullah Bin Jahas, Musab bin u air and the dearest uncle Ameer e Hamza raziallh a hum ajmaeen. If you see mount u had in Google maps it resembles name of Muhammad PBUH.

Love this place, this is the place where our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW fought a battle namely "Battle Of Uhad". It's the same battle where our Prophet Mohammad lost his two teeth. Muslims around the world visit these places when they come for Haji or Umrah. There is a huge mosque namely Jamai Al Uhad, in the compound there is a graveyard of martyrs of Uhad, almost 75 companions were martyred in this battle. There are also two more graves one of them is Prophet Mohammad saw's uncle , Ameeri Hamzah RA. May Allah SWT accept their shadah and grant them the highest place in jannah. Ameen
