This is a lovely restaurant serving traditional Romanian food. The service is good. The ambiance is cozy. The portion size of the dishes is decent. Overall it’s a decent place.

Great food! Pricy, but the food is super good, we had snitzel and plescavita. The plrscavita had an amazing taste.

It’s always a nice experience with Taverna Sarbului Sinaia! Big portions and good food! -I’m talking about their specialty and food made by their house !Not about fish and all that kind of food you can eat anywhere . The some about vegetables.You come here to eat their specialty— grilled meat and that kind of products! -You should try their famous ,,pljescavita”,home made sausages (all kind of it),their ,,jambon” home made also.Not forget ajvar (zacusca),proia (kind of serbian bread ). I propose mix grill and to ask a waiter to personalize it for you( as you wish). Not to try( it’s just ordinary kind of food you can find in every restaurant even better )-fish,chicken meat . 80% of their products are made by their house ! You should ask about it… - for cash pay I received 10%-25% discount card ,I had to completed a formular . It’s ok for all their restaurants all around country. As their client I can say I know their + and -! *Plus - very good food at a reasonable price(the same prices as in the town but much bigger portions)and friendly staff. *Minus - problem with the quality stuff so the friendliest are the oldest and if you had a bad experience,probably you had a bad luck with someone in the pass … Discontinuity with card pay is also a minus but if you insist you get it.( don’t know why..)🤷🏻‍♂️however there is no discount as with cash pay! -I can notice that ,it’s very often that the loyal customers get something on the house( me too)😋♥️👏👏. Music is also a nice part of an atmosphere here. Somethimes they have a very quality music 🎶 but sometimes you can’t hear it because the restaurant is full and a little bit noisy than. As a conclusion - this is good ,traditional serbian restaurant in carpatian mountains ,so,if you are looking for a good meal ,come here. Good meal all the time but the atmosphere is the best usually in the evenings! It’s near to the ,,telegondola “ so it’s very popular in the winter ,and full also ,but the summer here knows to be more beautiful! Especially if you are coming from 40deegres area than! Sinaia is a beautiful place to come all the time but in the recent years especially thanks to the city managment who made this place more beautiful.

As always the food is great, the service is great, and the atmosphere is great, Wether you’re here during the summer or during the winter it’s perfect! Highly recommend it, to make your trip to the mountains even that much special

Good food, high prices but that's Sinaia... The electric charging port was occupied by another car that was already charged and nobody knew who's car is that so could not use the charger. Two parking spots for electric vehicles but only one charger. Other then that all was fine.

A nice place to wind down after a day in the snow. The only downside is the food. Mediocre and it's not worth the price. The burger is different, but not in a good way. The snitzel is nothing to write home about. Better try something else in Sinaia if you want a good meal.

The place itself is ok, nothing special. The food CAN BE good, however each time it was served lukewarm or borderline cold, which really is unfortunate (reheated food is not the same...). And, on top of that, the staff is rather unfriendly/unprofessional even when nicely told about the issue, as if the customer is crazy and they (the staff) are generous to grant the customer a favour and reheat the dish(es). Too bad, the place is nicely located and has potential.

Wonderful local style dishes, such as Boar stew and sausage with beans. Good size portions. Helpful friendly staff. Generous sized glasses of house wine.

Delicious food and huge portions, very good value for money. We were pleased with the service and the food came out very quickly. The decor is rustic and the views are superb. This place certainly lives up to its reputation.

Great food. A little more expensive than other local restaurants. We got the pork burger and the roast bean and sausage dish. Gabriela provided lovely service in English.

Decent experience. The higher than average prices reflect the quantity of the food on your plate, not the quality. If you're coming in tired from a day on the mountain you won't notice or be disappointed but otherwise there are better places in town for the same price.

My worst dine in experience in Romania. Put the customer at the corner and never pay attention anymore, long waiting time even the restaurant is not full and not even lunch/dinner time. Walk to the counter to ask for bill and the lady keep yelling go to table, go to table with angry face!! Worst customer service ever!!

Service is extremely friendly, especially our waiter, Liliana, was the best. Food is good and portions are rather large. Would be lovely to have the option to eat on the outside terrace. Overall, would recommend.

Great location , great view! I had higher expectations from the food, but was a bit disappointing, the chicken was very dry, probably not that fresh…!

The number of reviews and score definitely reflects this place. We visited during the summer and I think that during winter this is a fantastic place to visit due to its wooden structure and fireplace. We ordered soup, lamb roast, lamb sausage and salad and dips. Everything was delicious and would highly recommend!

Food is always good ("Pleșcavita" - Serbian burger is a must try). Service was also really nice. Clean and cozy place to go when in Sinaia.

I've been voming here since I was a wee lil child. The food has always been, and still is, absolutely delicious. There isn't a single dish I've tried that wasn't great! The portions are on the bigger size, just fyi. The atmosphere there is amazing, always clean and beautifully decorated, and the staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and fast with service. If you're in the area, you MUST go here

Great food nice atmosphere and amazing view. We shared starters and they were really great. Green nuts homemade spirits was amazing.

Lovely traditional food. Great service. Food arrived in the order requested and promptly. The house wines were delicious. Generous portions. Value for money.

Very good qualiy food and sweets. We went early and it was not crowded at all. Very polite and friendly staff. A car is needed to get there but it is worth the trip. If you are lucky you can see a fox in the parking lot. A very nice experience overall. Free charging station for electric vehicles and we also got a 10% discount on the food bill because we charged there. Thank you.
