Small but modern museum telling the story of the place (the story of Sinaia). Quite packed with info, but you could just zap through it and get a glimpse of the important stuff. Has a small gift shop and a place to drink something during a break. You can stay here for 30 minutes or 3 hours, depends on your style.

Great place to visit. From my point of view it would be better to have a guide.

Great place if you are interested to know about Sinaia's history. The museum is located in a beautiful 19th century palace.

It is a small building, one of the first villas built in Sinaia. Now it is the museum of Sinaia, I, personally, liked it. You can see how the city developed, cutlery from the European trains (I am not sure if Orient Express), history of winter sports in Sinaia, etc if you like history, I recommend visiting the museum. If you don'tlike history, I am not sure it is worth the trouble . It is a small museum about local history

Could be something really nice, actually the info within is really interesting, but it's presented in the old boring Romanian museum way: looooots of plaques with lots of writing. I was really interested in what it was saying, but at one point it was too much, i got sleepy. Plus, some of the plaques are in narrow corridors, so you read a 1m high plaque while standing 20 cm from it. The basement is nice, you can actually see a glimpse of the original walls. If it would become more interactive, it could easily get a 5-star rating. Price is low, I don't remember exactly, but I think 10 Ron per adult.

Honestly, this museum was unexpectedly awesome. Very informative, especially downstairs and it's so lovely that it was a Cafe too.

I would not recommend. It is not interactive and it is boring. Price ticket: 20 ron / adult. On the Museum Night, it costs 10 ron / adult.

A great showcase for Sinaia's history and learn more about it! Multiple expositional areas covering the city's development, key moments and periods, multiple hall rooms in the basement with permanent shows for Bucegi nature, Salvamont, important people like former mayors and important documents, twinned cities.

Nice museum, a bit too much to read though. They serve coffee with cinnamon which is interesting.

Nothing beats living in a castle :) Easy access to center (for me blvd Carol I, hotel Anda as orientation). Rooms clean, no AC and maybe a bit more space to store toiletries in the bathrooms would be nice. Comfy beds, more than enough space for clothing. Excellent service, helpful and present even outside working hours, we arrived late and they guided us by phone into the castle and our room. Upstairs in the lobby (last floor) there are couches and coffee machine:) if you come with friends it could be a nice place to hang out. The castle has a terrace where they sell coffee. There's a museum inside you get to visit for free if you're living in the premises. I think the experience is worth having, it is likely I wil come back.

Place was momentarily shut down for a "meeting". No communication was given in advance.

A nice place to see, a better marketing could make it more popular.

The Castle is small, but filled with interesting knowledge. Lots of interesting historical details, photos of the genealogycal tree members. The backyard is very cosy and nice, especially in spring.

Pleasantly surprised about the museum inside Stirbey castle. You can learn a lot about Sinaia and Romanian history. The price is only 15RON for adults. The location is near Telecabina Sinaia. I enjoyed the tour!
