On every trip to Sinaia we stop here for food because though they don't have a lot of vegan options, most of them are pretty delicious. The tikka masala mushrooms are a particular favorite, cooked well and seasoned to perfection. Grilled veggies are...well you get used to this option as a vegan in Romania as well as potatoes. The curry dishes however, are delicious but we didn't get them on this trip because we wanted to walk to Peles and enjoy a drink with a view. Service is okay and fast-ish, enough to have a chat and a drink before the food starts to arrive.

I’ve been here multiple times, and the food is great! Also, they have an amazing variety of tea and serving is in some beautyful tea kettles. Last time I was there I had Chicken Tandoori (chicken legs slow cooked). Those were very spicy, they had chilli flakes on top. My friends had chicken Tikka Masala and tasted amazing - with a touch of spiciness. I honesty ate a big part of my boyfriend portion 😂. One friend had lamb Do-Piaza - very tender and no spice at all. The teas are all amazing. One friend had mango lassie (is in the photo), but I didn’t like it. At another visit we had all together 2 platters: Chutney and dips platter and Indian Platter. Was enough for 4 people. Also, you can find there Shisha if you like. Ramayana caffee is a cozy place where you can spend time with your friends. The staff are all friendly and profesional.

Coziest cafe in town, with an Indian twist! I wouldn't say that the place is authentically Indian, but the Indian meals that we tried were delicious. Pictured is the chicken lime (5 stars), soup of the day (standard romanian soup), green salad (its just a bunch of leaves with lemon for you to use on your own. I made the salad tasty, but it's pretty strange that they expect you to season this leaves meal on your own.) and chutney and dips platter. The platter was spectacular, although the hummus didn't compare to Israeli hummus :) We really enjoyed the atmosphere inside the restaurant. There are red sofas with cushioned walls and ambient lighting that are perfect for a relaxing meal after a walk in the city. There are also buttons that call the staff, but be warned that they don't know how to handle a half full restaurant, took us 30 mins after ordering to get our meals. Finally, they also have tea pots that you can order - very pleasant and soothing, I tried the peppermint tea and one of their green tea assortments. The tea itself is nothing special, but I still enjoyed the whole experience.

Even if it’s located on the main read it’s a hidden gem. Indian cuisine not exactly what expect to find in a Romanian tourist little than at the base of Carpaten mountains. What a nice surprise. Great service great food great location. It’s a must if you enjoy Indian cuisine. With an European twist.

Nice place, good prices...unfortunately the service was...debatable...the young girl looked like she came from a funeral..no smile at all...for a person that is also working with people, the charisma and good attitude makes all the difference. Keep up the good work.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL, sorry to say, this was really unpleasant experience. the staff was careless, bringing us the main food as to go, after short argument I apologized that I might have overheard and maybe ordered like that when my wife got different food, it was taken away after my notice and after 10 minutes the right one arrived without a word of apology. the side dish got cold meanwhile. just now, we are waiting to be asked about any further wish for 20 minutes (in pretty empty restaurant), the waitress went for smoke around our table 4 times :) food was of rather poor quality, but that's our mistake. what to expect from the restaurant offering form india through burgers to pizza?

Loveeed this place, very cool vibe with all the red lights. Food was very good, decent prices. Tea, music and hookah completed the Ramayana experience. I'd love to come back, amazing place.

Food was good. Could have used a bigger portion size though. Also the hummus was just garbanzo beans and lemon it was in serious need of tahini and olive oil. The restaurant is not for children, we moved seats to get away from the hookah smoke and then the staff was smoking behind the bar and we couldn't escape that.

A beautiful morning discovery that I regret not having visited in the evening too. the environment is extremely relaxing, the music chosen helps the vibes. Despite being a tourist place, the quality and selection of breakfast and tea is excellent. the prices are slightly expensive but considering the location and the quality of the service, not excessive.

The food was good, but the portions were not that big. The ambiance is interesating. I wish they played indian/specific music to complete the experience. The western/modern music ruins the experience. Good location.

It is hard to find a place like this - first of all I want to point out the authenticity of the food, as an Indian food enjoyer I must say, the best tikka masala I ever had, I would’ve shown the mango chicken but it was sooo good I ate it before I remembered I wanted to write this review 😄 the Hookah is amazing, and blends in with the cozy atmosphere the music is amazing and they stay true to the end with the theme including the WiFi password is the name of god from Hindi. And I cannot finish this review without mentioning the staff which is both engaging and fun and very present Please visit this place ☺️

The best indian inspired food I've had in Romania. Lots of vegetarian choices and decent prices for the area. Also, the cute-kitschy atmosphere is very relaxing. Thank you Ramayana Sinaia ✨

Delicious food, fast/attentive service, and a comfortable seating arrangement with their booths. A great cafe-lounge mix with a menu suitable for all tastes, with hookahs available as well. Highly recommended if in Sinaia

The food was better than my expectations from the review score. The vindaloo was delicious. Some customers beside me did not care the public space and a bit disturbing, but anyway it was a good place.

We've been here many times over the years but we now felt the need to leave a review due to the negative comments which are, in our opinion, not justified. We went here for lunch on a Monday, the restaurant was not too busy. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good. We ordered red bean curry, chana masala, garlic fries and garlic naan. It was obviously not traditional Indian food (nor was it advertised as such), it was a rather simplified European version of it, but it did the job. We appreciated the fact that the vegan options were clearly marked on the menu. The staff were polite. This restaurant is a great choice if you're on the go, especially due to its proximity to the train station.

I loved it. They have a good selections of vegan meals that are actually tasty. The menu has info about the amount of calories in each meal which is handy if you are counting.

Food was so so. Cocktails had no alcohol content. Service was OK but had to remind the waitress to bring the bill twice. We came 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and were still served dinner so that was much appreciated. Not expensive.

Tasty food (!!!!) but a low grade service. The waiter ask me if I whant him to pour the wine or I pour it myself (???). In an empty restaurant I have to push the buton to call the waiter ( is it everything ok? , do you need something else?, may I take the dishes?..... Nothing) - > like in a self service....

Went there 2 times, had butter chicken, garlic naan and ordered rice on the side as it doesn't come with the curries. Both of the times it was really good food. Service was okayish. As for the second time the electronic caller for the waiter didn't work and we kinda got forgotten about by the waiter in our little corner. Overall it's probably the best restaurant in Sinaia as the little town doesn't have a lot of places to eat.

We had a nice lunch here, good vegetarian options. The food is good, not too greasy. One of the better options in Sinaia. Very friendly staff and the decoration is very nice.

We went over for brunch! The food was good and service was really nice. The lighting inside where we sat was a bit weird, it made it a bit hard to read the menu, but there are way better seats available so that was just on us picking that spot lol.

A very beautiful ambiance for an Indian restaurant, with a lot of decorations. The chai masala was ok, the onion bhaji - exceeded expectations and the chicken tikka quite decent with a lot of flavour. I would avoid next time the paneer tikka. The service was very good, the waiters are friendly and polite.

The outside terrace is pretty nice, the inside has a nice vibe to it, it doesn’t look old and it s not dirty. The food was good, i ordered Ramayana pasta and i recommend ordering it.
