Unfortunately the restaurant is not like in the past. They sell meat that is not good. I ve tryed to cut the lamb steak with 2 different knives. none of them cut what they call lamb steak, it was very cooked.

Very friendly host. The rooms are clean, spacious and have a great view. The beds are very comfortable. There is a hungarian specific restaurant and the food and drinks are delicious. The portions are large and the prices are okay. Will defintely stay there again.

You have to try the soup goulash and the giant snitzel,I think they are best thing from their menu(I tried goulash main dish and pan from grandma)

All the meat dishes taste defrosted and dry - I've never had chicken breast so tough in the paprika chicken and the flavour was not even close to the quality I've had in other restaurants. My friends dishes were dry too. How this restaurant has 4.3 stars- I do not know

For someone who is coming from abroad like me, it is a terrible experience. They do not have an English menu and do not bother to help guests figure out what they might want to order. They have a delicious garlic soup in bread, but you can not order regular hot tea in winter since they do not have it. Other menu items I ordered were pretty standard and nothing spectacular.

We have just left this place, it was one of the restaurants in Sinaia that had good food and an okeish serving. Now it was a disaster. The staff is definitely the worst, we haven't seen anything like this lately. We previously made a reservation just to be sure we have our table. We entered the restaurant being happy to eat since we were starved. The host told us to "just find yourself a table"!!! We got upstairs and found one table that was not clean. We waited for someone to come but 1st they just took the dirty dishes and napkins, they didn't wipe it. Anyway, to keep it (almost) short: the waiter said the food will come late if we order. We said it is ok and we waited...waited...waited. 25 minutes only for an order to be taken...imagine that to those 25 minutes another hour would have been added till the food came...horrible. So we fled out to another place, where we hoped to find good service and nice food. Soooo...we will never come back here, a big disappointment...

The Deer Goulash was decent. As well as the Beef Goulash. The “Tigaie Picantă” was bland at best. Tasteless. The pigs stomach soup was bland as well. Service was quick, but the waiter was rude and his attitude was unacceptable. Would not dine here again.

Highly recommend, traditional Hungarian dishes. Tasty, fast service, fair prices.

We visited the restaurant and the food was super good! Good and fast service, nice variety of dishes at affordable price. We loved the beans soup with smoked pork in bread. Next time will definitely come back!

The drinks came in an hour. The food was almost cold and half a normal size. After 2,5 hours the desert still didn't come. An experience I don't recommend.

Good food for a good price! The waiter could be a little bit more pleasant , but we manage to get a smile as dessert :)

This place is located 700 meters from the center. It's easy to get here. The room i had (attic room) it's the largest of them all. On top of the castle i say. Location is great. The view also. Clean room and bathroom. The place has a restaurant inside and outside and can hold events. This is great when you wake up and want to eat or drink something. The food is not hungarian 100%. So you can eat pork or sheep or chicken if you want. And it's tasty whatever you pick. The employees are nice also. You can meet Petrișor the manager, Doina the bee that get's you all you need, or Nicoleta that cleans the rooms. There is also the kitchen staff. All are great by my standards. All in all, it's not a five star hotel but it's a five star place where you can rest, eat, feel good. I highly recommend it. See ya' there :)

I went to the restaurant recently because they had very good food in the past. But now it’s awful. The food and the staff. There was an older waitress, who yelled at me and my 4y old daughter because she was playing with some toothpicks and the salt shaker, which also looked awful. We had beans soup and beef goulash. Both almost not edible. The beef was chewy not tender and tasteless.. In conclusion, don’t go there, choose something else.

Great location for a restaurant , limited in what they offer in food options because they are a Hungarian restaurant, but if you wanna experience Hungarian food this is a good place. DO NOT order lamb, the cut was not good, almost not edible , I should have ordered the potatoes nature and maybe the beef goulash .. I will next time for sure. Other people at the table ordered the fried fish that was really good . They offer you a little plate with bread with pork fat , was interesting unfortunately I was there with 2 vegetarians

I had some takeaway: beef goulash and mixed grill (rețeta bunicii). The goulash was completey tasteless while the mix grill had some chicken breast in it that had the consistency of pig skin (very dry and hard to chew). Also, the pork meat was quite salty and wasn't fresh. The smoked sossages were OK. Still, there are worst places to eat in Sinaia...

Ok place, location. The food is alright-not bad not great either. That being said, half the menu items are missing (without them being crossed out or anything like that), and worst of all - the waiters are unprofessional and always seem in a hurry and grumpy.

I tried ciorba de burta here..since i eat that in Romania..at this restaurant was the best ciorba de burta for me as asian who doesn't like sour soup. But my romanian husband and his friends said the food was delicious also. The bonus is you can enjoy the beautiful view there.

I've been coming faci to this place each time I'm in Sinaia. The food is with a Hungarian twist and has a consistent quality over the years. Parking is always easy to find around. And the Hungarian beers.... Don't miss the gulas soup and the garlic soup.
