Well located hotel right on the edge of Clarke quay. Quiet street but just a few minutes from the riverside area with bars and restaurants. The hotel is modern with great little relaxing cafe and restaurant that benefits from indoor and outdoor seating areas where you can relax. Tables are well spaced out so as not to feel Uncomfortable and too close to others. The rooms are small but have everything you need although people sometimes left trash near the elevators which was annoying. Staff are super friendly, and a shout out to Stephanie at the front desk for being so incredibly helpful both at the hotel and with advice on our trip to Malacca. Sheโ€™s a star and should be recognized by her manager. There is a cool rooftop with a nice pool and jacuzzi along with seating areas to catch some sun and relax surrounded by trees and plants making for a comfortable feeling. Great little city hotel. Recommend a stay.

Good stay experience! However, poor internet connection speed and very long waiting time for checking in & out. Three reception counters are definitely not enough for 400+ rooms guests. Hotel should have express check-out, too.

Nice Holiday Inn Express. Very clean, well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. Located next to the Singapore River close to Fort Canning Park. Walking distance to the business center about 15 minutes, to Merlin 30 minutes. 5 minute walk to plenty of restaurants and entertainment along the river. Although the rooms are โ€œEuropean styleโ€, meaning rather small, they are functional, not used up and clean. Our room to the back was quiet. Nice shower head with plenty of hot water. Bed is is not too soft with great pillows. Fridge, safe, coffee pot, all there. Downstairs with breakfast with a much better selection one could ever get in the US. Quality of the fruits, rice, eggs and croissants have been very good. Although with the number of rooms, the breakfast place can get rather crowded in the morning. However inside as well as outside is plenty of seating space. Full bar serving till late night. Liked the outdoor sitting.

Overall clean, though some dust was still visible by the coffee pot area. The fridge, to my surprise, was not stocked with drinks. The bathroom area was clean and well equipped. The Dove soap and shampoo were a pleasant surprise. The lack of a power plug by one of the nightstand was very disappointing. The room is facing the building across the street so is recommended to keep the curtain down. The bed is amazing though, including the pillows. You get soft and hard pillow and the mattress seems to be soft to extra soft. Breakfast is good to very good. Not too many fruits though. However, I would say is very likely you will be satisfied with the overall experience. The customer service is a little bit on a "rush" setup and while I understand why that might happen, is also slightly disappointing as you get the feeling that you are not properly valued. An exception to this would be one of their managers who took her time to chat with us for like 30 min to share some of their on going project to raise awareness for local food farmers. The location is not the best, but with a Grab you can pretty much get to any important location in 10 to 30 minutes. The hotel doesn't allow you to check out late, but they are keeping your luggage in case you have a late night flight, free of charge.

I am beyond amazed by the wonderful service of this place. Their thoughtful staff and kindness was definitely life saving during my quarantine here. The deliveries from lobby to my room were at incredible lightning speed and just amazed by the genuine care for every person I personally experienced. Food was good too served so faithfully and timely everyday. To top their impeccable service and beautiful amenities off, these encouraging little thoughtful quote cards cheered me up so much! Thank you so so much staff of holiday Inn hotel. Truly a life memory for me. Sending you all love right back โค๏ธ thank you for making my quarantine stay here so wonderful

Great location, clean, comfortable and affordable. Quite good facilities for a Holiday Inn Express (Gym, rooftop pool & lounger area, and self service laundry, vending machines etcโ€ฆ). There are so many โ€˜entitledโ€™ people with exaggerated expectations and reviews! If you want luxury accommodation and breakfast, then book yourselves into the Hilton or Marina Bay Sandsโ€ฆ You get what you pay for and this is very good value for money, compared to other 3 star Holiday Inn Express hotels. We had a good stay in the hotel. The room was clean and convenient. We loved the rooftop garden, swimming pool with lounge beds (towels are available on the roof deck) and the views from up there! Breakfast is included for everyone and that was a good one! We arrived in the morning and were surprised that our room was already available. All staff that we met were so friendly! As our flight departed around midnight we asked for a late check out. We were happy with the good help of Josh/Joel (sorry if we didnโ€™t remember your name well, you are a legend!) who puzzled around and with paying a bit extra (late checkout fee) we could keep the room till 5PM which was great. If we had to give feedback to the hotel: the room could have some TLC maintenance wise: some stains on blinds and carpeting. Not a big problem for us, we had a good stay! We definitely would recommend this hotel!

We have just checked out earlier today. Great hotel, breakfast was beautiful with a great variety. Rooftop pool is spectacular. The only thing I missed was a face cloth. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 6 nights, on a week getaway, and really couldn't fault our stay. The room was a little bit on the small side, but we didn't go to spend a week in the room anyway. It was comfortable, clean, modern, housekeeping was first class, and was more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast had a good selection to suit most tastebuds, with a good sized eating area and wasn't a problem to find a table. Throw in a bar and coffee shop, All staff were friendly and more than helpful. The hotel may not be in the main Bay area, however is only a 5min walk to Clark Quay, as well as the train and buses. To top it off, there is a great rooftop infinity pool, to relax by, in between sightseeing. We felt the Holiday Inn overall, was good value.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excellent hotel for a city-break or bus trip. Very professional throughout. Breakfast great and good coffee and range of choices and at no extra cost. Yes it's a bit busy at times but no difficulty sitting down. Front desk efficient, and can email and responds promptly to any questions. Always got a good answer for any questions. Good location. No, hotel is not at main bay or next to MBS but close to multiple MRT and possible to walk along river if desired. Clarke's Quay is a good choice for a walk, somewhere to get something to eat. Pool area with great 40 meter pool and lounger area really good. Great views at night. Really enjoyed some time up there in between sightseeing at day or night. Only complaint, which is very minor, is room not that big but happy with price we paid so not really a complaint at all. Many hotels are really very expensive in Singapore and we felt lucky we found this one. Great value.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express, Clark Quay. Its location is good, amenities are great as well. The jacuzzi and pool are great at the roof top. Special mention to the very welcoming staff, and specifically Joel who helped us with our check in as well. We were also able to drop off our luggage for a few hours post checkout, which was very helpful as well. Would definitely be coming back if we are in Singapore again.

Great location. Staff are always available and happy to assist. Brekkie is crazy! We sat outside, but the hotel team did a great job replenishing food/clearing tables - thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š Good bean to cup coffee. Loved the rooftop pool, great views, lovely garden. Didn't enjoy powder creamer, in room, we purchased milk. The guest laundry was easy to use and great. A busy hotel with housekeeping doing a great job in keeping it clean, thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

During my recent visit to Singapore, I had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism by the attentive staff. The service provided throughout my stay was truly exceptional. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were knowledgeable about the local attractions and were always ready to provide helpful recommendations and directions. The housekeeping team maintained the rooms meticulously, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options, perfect for starting the day on a positive note. The hotel's location near Clarke Quay provided convenient access to popular landmarks and vibrant nightlife. This has been one of my go-to hotels when I visit Singapore for business for many years. Clean and efficient with a helpful staff. The included breakfast buffet is very good and the outdoor seating in their garden waterfall patio is great. It's difficult to remember you're in busy Singapore during breakfast. Very relaxing. Rooms are great for business travelers. On the downside, the self service washer and dryer for laundry are VERY expensive. I usually take my things to a local wash and fold place and have them do it, and save money. The location is excellent. Right along the river within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Learn how to use the excellent bus and subway transportation and you are set. I rarely used a taxi or share car.

This hotel is an expensive refugee / construction worker camp. The rooms are really small. I think that breakfast is better in jail. No hot chocolate, no real bread, no cheese, no ham. The croissants are frozen and thick. I am French. I just could not eat those. Disgusting. The eggs were from powder eggs. The juice were not natural. We were feeding ourselves rather than eating. The hotel is full of construction workers from โ€œabroadโ€. Nobody respected distancing in the line of the breakfast. People were in pyjama. Skipping the lines constantly. The staff is unable to follow instructions. They barely speak English, only Chinese. Some of them had huge B.O. The manager called Sue was extremely incompetent. Not good enough for Singapore. Sorry. We would need to be paid to go back. I really do not recommend this hotel at all in Singapore.

Rooms are small but comfortable. The service would have been 5 Star but for the poor breakfast spread in the 5 days of stay. It has to be the worse of the holiday inns that i stayed in over the years. There is no egg counter and spread is disappointing in terms of local variety and taste. Hope the chef can improve. Staff are great ๐Ÿ‘ and location is superb.

This is a no fuss hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Beds and towels are very clean. Breakfast provided is standard with scrambled eggs, toast, fruits. This hotel seems to cater more for business travellers. But nonetheless,my family with 2 kids enjoyed the quiet rooftop pool.

We stayed here for7 nights, all staff members were all friendly & helpful. Our room was small but that didn't worry us much as we were out all day,the room was clean. Would have like some draws to put our clothes in though. Breakfast was good but would have liked more variety of fruit, or more variety in eggs instead of scramble or boil everyday, we are from Australia so would have liked bacon or sausages, the staff that cleaned up in breakfast area were excellent. Loved the rooftop area, especially after a long day out, good place to relax. Over our stay with you was good. Thanks Colleen & George Halls

Location was amazing! It is just a short walk to Clarke Quay and Chinatown MRTs. Extremely easy to travel around. Service was splendid. The front desk lady was kind and friendly. A staff also helped to open the door for us. The room was relatively small. The pillows and bed were not the most comfortable, but overall, I would give it a 4. Absolutely loved the breakfast buffet - it was my favourite part of the hotel. Majority of the servers were helpful and well-mannered, despite the breakfast crowd. The swimming pool is a little bit small, but looks nice for pictures. The hotel does not have motorcycle parking by the way.

We are truly enjoying our experience at the HIE Clarke Quay. Weโ€™re particularly thankful to Dharisiny who went out of her way to find us rooms as we arrived early. She has also been highly responsive to our many questions and requests. HI is very fortunate to have such an outstanding and helpful employee.

Value for price is good at the Holiday Inn. Price is affordable given the very central location (walking distance from Clark Quay). I used it for a business trip. Undortunately it is not very well suited for business trips. There is a vending machine but no bar/coffee/restaurant service in the evening. Rooms are on the small side (as everywhere in Singapore). Breakfast is OK but not great. For a 4-Star Hotel there is not much choice and the setting/atmosphere is more mass-tourism-style. Staff is very helpful and nice. No major issue, but now "wow" effect either.

Assigned here to serve my 14 days compulsory SHN upon returning from overseas, room is clean, SHN meals are decent but limited with choices, the positive side is that whenever you ordered food via 3rd part delivery services, they will sent to you room in a fairly quick manner.

The room so small for a 4 star hotel, a lil bit far from nearest MRT, breakfast was nice of variety, but there was incident we saw the kitchen crew is having an argument in the lobby and screaming until he goes to the kitchen. Overall the front office staff very helpful help me bring my luggage since itโ€™s self service hotel there was no bell boy.

They have nice view on the roof top with swimming pool. But my boyfriend trip himself on the stairs near the pool because it's bit dark at night in there. So far we were enjoying our trip and spending good time here. Room service is okay and they have good food for breakfast.

I had an amazing QO stay at the hotel. I was well taken care with the comfort of sumptuous indian meals (cooked perfectly just like back home), the mattress was great to sleep on, service was exemplary and staff were hospitable. This hotel was adequate for a business trip and the fast, reliable Wi-Fi and desk within my bedroom meant that I could crack on with work after attending a nearby trade show. However, the room had a few flaws, notably a malfunctioning air-conditioning unit, a loose toilet roll holder and an uneven towel holder that suggested a lack of attention to detail in the finish of the bathroom. Breakfast was okay but I found the coffee machines overly slow and not suited to a buffet with relatively heavy footfall. The staff did not enquire how my stay was when I checked out and that lack of interaction summed up how I felt about the impersonal nature of staying in this hotel. Ultimately, this property is well located and has the potential to make a much better impression if a few things are tweaked.

Service at reception was excellent. The Hotel is easy enough to get to on the Down Town line between China Town and Fort Canning. The Hotel is very open and the rooftop is a good place to relax. I found the only downsides are the room was a little small and the buffet breakfast could be better. Would I stay here again, yes.

I'm serving my 14 days hotel quarantine currently and I must say that it is the most horrible hotel stay. The bed is with bed bugs and my skin was attacked by the bed bugs result in rashes with itchiness and pain. The skin itchiness and pain continues for the following days and the customer service advised me to spend my own additional expenses to consult doctor or buy my own medication to apply on the rashes if required. The only solution from customer service they provided to me is to change to a new room. Holiday Inn normally known for their high standards of cleanliness and service but after this stay completely change my mind to this hotel. Hopefully the incoming guest who serving 14 days hotel quarantine will not face same incident again. Good luck.

Excellent hotel. Centrally located, important sights, restaurants, public transport within walking distance. Fantastic staff. The breakfast team is amazing. Serene remembers which coffee or tea the guests prefer. All the staff make you feel at home. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Great pool.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our 2 week holiday in Thailand rather than doing a 2hr stopover, and really glad we did. The hotel is 30min by taxi (approx $30) and is ideally located for exploring Singapore. The room, although small, was clean and well serviced with a comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very helpful. Chinatown MTR is less than 10min walk. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed here for the second time now and it wonโ€™t be the last. The hotel offers incredible value for money, the rooms are well designed and thought through in every detail, highly recommended the city view top floor room. The location is amazing and walking distance to many restaurants and the city. The breakfast offers everything to think of (except of Nutella) with fresh veggies and fruit and nice baked goods. The rooftop pool and gym are definitely a highlight and deserve extra points! Last but not least, the staff are amazing, friendly and efficient. Couldnโ€™t think of a better stay!

The hotel is in a very good location, close to Chinatown (10-15min walk). The rooms are very small for the price but the hotel offers complimentary breakfast which was actually really good and the menu changes everyday. I was impressed by the quality of the breakfast and the various choices they had, from bread, porridge, pastries, eggs, bacons, sausage, noodles, rice, pancakes, including desserts. For sure, you will find something you will like to eat. I did wish there was no sliding door between the sink on the bathroom and the actual room as the bed was on the other side. I think it would be best that it was a regular wall for more privacy, keeping in mind that the room is already pretty tiny. Overall I would stay here again.

A great hotel in a close proximity to bars and restaurants. Attentive and pleasant staff make check in and checkout a smooth process. A breakfast buffet with a broad range of food to suit all tastes. A reasonable stocked bar is a good place to relax in the evening. I stayed 4 nights Feb 2023. My room was a little on the small side, but was very modern. Had a nice view of the Singapore skyline. The room service was great and the breakfast buffet (which is included) might have been the best included hotel breakfast I've ever had. Its in a nice neighborhood too. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very compact. Breakfast items quite limited and also very crowded due to limited space. Rooms were clean. The pillows are a little roo soft. Currently nursing a backache because literally they are too soft. Staff were nice but the hotel needs an update. TV is not smart. Lifts don't ding when they open so you have to constantly check if the lift has arrived from the three lift landings.

A great not-too-expensive hotel at the heart of Singapore's nightlife and business district. Perfectly convenient location, very comfortable rooms with all the amenities you'll need. The breakfast buffet is only okay (no eggs to order) and can get crowded, but it suits your needs. It's close to MRT stations and bus routes, so you'll be well connected.

It's definitely the best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. Location is convenient, being right next to the Clarke and Robert's Quay. Rooms are clean and cool, and the staff is exceptional. Room rate is very reasonable for the are, though the rooms can be a bit loud. Breakfast options are standard. Not a bad place for a short term stay, especially since if on a budget.
