The check-in and check out was really fast. The room was affordable. However, the hallway and the room had a strong cigarette-kind of smell. The staff provided a spray so at least our room smelled a bit better. The sheets had some stains and there was a used slipper under the bed too. πŸ₯² The good thing is we only stayed for a night.

I recently stayed at V Hotel Lavender, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I would like to highlight two major issues that I encountered during my stay. Firstly, I had made my reservation through the hotel's official website, where it clearly stated that I would be entitled to an early check-in by 11 am. However, upon arrival, the front desk staff informed me that I would have to pay an additional $30 for an early check-in. It was disappointing to learn that the hotel was not honoring the terms stated on their website. After some discussion and consultation with the front desk manager, the issue was eventually resolved, but it caused unnecessary inconvenience and confusion. Secondly, upon entering my assigned room, I immediately noticed that the temperature was uncomfortably warm, despite adjusting the thermostat to the lowest setting of 21 degrees Celsius. This indicated a potential problem with the room's air conditioning system. It was disappointing that the room had not been adequately cooled before my arrival, and I had to endure the uncomfortable warmth throughout my stay. I strongly believe that the hotel should prioritize regular maintenance to ensure that such issues are promptly addressed and the guests can enjoy a comfortable environment. Overall, I must express my disappointment with the front desk's lack of flexibility and the room's inadequate temperature control. As a guest, I expected a smooth and comfortable experience, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. I hope the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and addresses them promptly to enhance the quality of service for future guests. Please note that this review is based on my personal experience, and I encourage other guests to evaluate their own experiences before making a decision.

    1) room service may enter even do not disturb sign is there. 2) purpose for stealing but no action had been taken after complaints few time to shift manager. 3) soft board in between room meaning sound proof non at all. Hearing chatting, door close and the lift moving humming sound. 4) for those go for relax and secure are not suitable unless drunk and no belonging.

I had a pleasant stay at the V Hotel. The location might be one of the best things about the hotel. The pricing for my one month stay through Dash Living was extremely pocket friendly. The room view and amenities were appropriate for a Comfortable stay.I had a couple of feedback items. I had to everyday remind the Hotel staff to provide my complimentary bottle of water. Extremely cold rooms the thermostats just don't work on the AC it's excruciatingly cold without allowing me to reduce the temperature even though it would show 28 on the thermostat the temp would be 19. I had a weekly clean up schedule due to my long stay. One day I had put up a DND on my room when the team came to clean the room when I went back in the evening they said they could not do it the next day as the next schedule is for the subsequent week. This is a very bureaucratic way of dealing with a service. Guests can't be staying available all the time when the hotel staff come over. Also the schedule was not informed for me to make the room available. This was the only unpleasant part of my stay for which I will rate my stay an 8 instead of 10.

Sharing the feedback of V hotel, Singapore. 1. Service and customer satisfaction of the duty manager - JASON and team is not favourable at all. You can train them to be more customers eccentricity. 2. No coordination between the staff. There were several calls to get the update but no answer received from their end. 3. Understanding the situation of customer is null. 4. No value for money that was paid. Service was not at all appropriate and up to the mark as payment was made. *Serving you 24/7* shall be removed from your official website. I will hardly recommend the stay and service at your hotel to anyone, perhaps never. Suggest you to work on your hospitality again and refurbish your inappropriate and incomplete policies more towards customer satisfaction and value for money.

One of the best places to stay in Singapore. I loved the service they offer. The staff is quite friendly helps in every possible manner. Being an Indian, I loved the way they served the breakfast which was half Indian, loved the taste. The Room service was decent and appreciative, we went out for 3 hours and they cleaned the room with keeping all the necessities. It is close to All of the tourist places. Close to Mustafa centre which definitely helped me with the dinner and shopping. Would recommend to stay here for sure. Cheers on your visit.

The location is good, above MRT station. Rooms are very small and do not have basic amenities like hair dryer though they claim to be 4 star hotel. Poor service.

Hotel V Lavender impresses with its beauty and attentive staff, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The rooms are pristine, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, while the hotel excels in many areas, the breakfast options could use improvement to meet the high standards set by the rest of the establishment. Overall, it's a delightful place to stay, offering a combination of elegance and hospitality, with minor room for enhancement in the culinary department.

Name sake 4 star hotel. All that works for the hotel is the location. It's based on top of the lavender MRT station so traveling is very convenient. You have an amazing variety of food options just outside the hotel as well. As per the hotel the rooms are literally what you can call a matchbox hotel. If you are traveling with your family or have more luggage please do not make the mistake of choosing this hotel. You only have space to walk out of your bed to the bathroom and nothing more. The shower cubicle is also ridiculously tiny. It would be magical to see someone bend and wash their toes in that cubicle. Breakfast is seriously lacking. If possible avoid paying for it and the money you save can be spent on the options below the hotel which have a very good variety of food and drinks. I would say this hotel is more for solo and overnight travellers. It's better than sleeping in cubes and you have your personal bathrooms. If you are looking for a hotel where you can relax, please give this a skip.

Very strict policies, like room was to be given at 2 PM and front desk mentioned our policies are changed and now you will get at 3 PM. No one greeted or wished during our entire stay. Wish you guys could have a smiling face to greet your guests. Also front desk told to check out at sharp 11 AM so we were in pressure but later got to know your check out is not as strict as you portrayed. Overall stay was comfortable but if a few changes, as highlighted above can be made it would be perfect.

I booked for 3 night at v hotel. First the reception is like never handle this so many people before. So their service quiet long and make long queue and 2 hours for us get the room ready. The hotel its self not quiet looks good. The style all dark colour and the rooms too so its feel small and not comfortable. But the sheet all clean and the bed not so thick but okay. The location is near a lot place for eat and quiet affordable.

Had a twin room in this hotel, one day we came and the hotel room had barely been cleaned just the bed made. McDonald’s wrappers was left around etc. Also because of the window ledge the twin room is way smaller than it could be so takes up a lot of space. Location is great, being just over the station makes it very easy to get around and a few food options in the area. There’s also a weird smell in the corridor, probably the cleaning products they use. Not a terrible option but would opt to spend a little more to get better quality as I wouldn’t deem this place to be a 4*, maybe the double rooms are better.

It's an awesome stay at your hotel, location is superb. Hotel lift need to upgrade in speed handling in order for higher floor guests not to wait too long. Preferable to have set a lift especially for higher floor guests. Will definitely come back to stay at your hotel.

It was a good experience for us, good location as well. Only that the aircond in our room was too cold even after we've set it to the lowest temperature 28 degrees. The pillow is a bit too soft for me but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at Premier Room but it was more like deluxe/superior room, it was quite small for a premier. TV channel is so limited. Toilet can't argue much, it might be small but worked just fine. Mini bar was not cold. Pros was the location whereby u can buy variety of foods.

Our room have fantastic view! However we would be rating 1 star for the dark design vibe which wasn't like by young children, cleanliness, small toilet, pool and family privacy. There are a little family crowd, mainly alone non locals. We are very uncomfortable when we notice someone is pointing his camera phone at us many times. There are many fully clothes man, not there for a swim but to just occupied the sun deck to use their phone or to look at those in pool.

Very small rooms. Comfy bed and pillows. Tiny bathroom. Crazy expensive drink prices. Poor lighting around the pool. Good proximity to Metro and Street food. About $30 to/from airport. Not a bad place if you get it for the right price.

Good experience. Nice service. Mrt (Lavender) is close to the hotel. There are restaurants, food shops and convenience stores around the hotel. But around pool is not clean because of birds. Room is clean , Good Size (Perfect for two) but if you add some aroma or perfume in the room, It will be perfect.

Excellent overall. I think we got more service than we paid for. The only disappointment was the front desk person who helped me when I checked in. He didn't give me a thorough explanation and made a poor impression on me to start my stay. However, the housekeeping staff and the front desk person who helped me at check-out were very nice. The attitude of just one staff member gave me a bad impression of the hotel. It is a shame.

Ross at the reception was great, friendly and helpful with good hospitality spirit. She managed to find us a room for both myself and my parents on the same floor before the check-in time. Initially, I only wanted to store the luggage as I understood that check-in time is at 3.00pm. Above and beyond service! However, there were a few shortfalls regarding the room. The drainage flow in the shower of my room (6-42) was not good. It took some time for the water to fully drain out. Please get engineering team to have that fixed. Secondly, both rooms were quite cold even though we have turned up the temperature to 27. We ended up turning off the air-conditioner, only then it was bearable. Overall, it was a good stay and definitely would come back!

My stay at V Hotel Lavender was generally positive, thanks to its strategic location near dining options and the MRT, making it convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant experience. However, I did notice that the toilet facilities were quite cramped and the floor in my room was a bit dusty. Overall, it's a decent choice for those prioritizing location and service.

This hotel is in a brilliant location for the metro station and connections. There is a shopping centre nearby for quick eats. The air conditioning in the room worked well and there was decent storage. The wifi worked well on multiple devices and they provided complimentary water bottles daily. The rooms have tiled floors throughout and smell damp/musty at all times. The bedding wasn't perfectly clean, one pillow had a reddish stain on it. The rooms were noisy, I could hear other guests accessing their rooms and talking, showering, etc. It sounded as if they were entering my room when they accessed the room next door. I could also hear their TV which made for an interrupted night's sleep. Reception was very crowded and the staff weren't overly friendly. There were lengthy waits for lifts during peak times. The included breakfast left a lot to be desired, it was a mediocre buffet outside in the humidity with most food being the wrong temperature and stale. The bathroom was rather small and the water was very hot, I could not get it cool enough.

This is an excellent hotel that is almost literally built around the giant, beautiful pool. The pool really is the highlight - great mosaic structure and cool all the time. It didn't seem like they over-chlorinate it, which was nice for my eyes and skin. The gym is quite small. Rooms are great tho cosy and housekeeping is quite efficient. It took 4 calls to get my safe fixed when it ran out of battery. I'd also not recommend the breakfast when there are so many great food options just a few seconds walk from the hotel. But you cannot beat the location - close to little India and downtown as well. Just steps away from the mrt. They have a money changer just outside, and also a weighing machine for baggage. Super family friendly as well it seemed, with people from all over staying there.

Rooms are incredibly tiny and claustrophobic, the staff is uncooperative and uptight, not cordial at all, you gotta carry all your luggage to your room yourself, the corridors smell bad and the food at this place still stands to be probably the worst hotel food I've ever had. The only redeemable thing about this place is the convenient location.

It is a hotel located in the city. There are food houses all around, and the transportation is also very convenient, you can take LRT after a short walk, and you can also take a taxi in front of the hotel. If you want to take convenient transportation and eat conveniently, this hotel will be a good choice for you. Just you have to wait patiently to check in the room, don't know what problem takes that long to check in! Also, his room is not brand new, and you will smell some odors

I would like to mention that V lavender has been a perfect host for me and my family apart from a few minor hiccups i would get to as we go ahead in this review. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was just top notch. Cleaning them spotless and changing the laundry every time we would be out for the day on a city tour. Awesome breakfast to start off the day with the foods served early morning, lot of options and the very kind and tidy catering staff just gives you the pleasant mornings you desire on a holiday. The only major concern about the hotel staff and particularly the front desk is that they are very rude and behave like you owe them something. The very first day we were told we would be informed about any vacant rooms since we had reached the hotel early...even though the standard check in time is around 2-3... We were told we would be informed as soon as any single room would get vacant since we had 4 elderly people travelling together. The front desk didn't bother. When I approached them they would ask me to stand on the Que along with people who had just arrived...such was the audacity... secondly I spoke regarding taxi queries i was having in the city and well one of the front desk people told me "Sir,Please figure it out yourself" which i eventually did but a little help from your hotel staff is always appreciated when you are in a new place and barely know any people. Experiencing this on the very first day made me think that V Lavender was a bad choice.. but as days progressed i was mighty impressed with the amenities, catering staff and the house keeping staff...and even though the overall rating ends at 8 the 3 departments solely deserve a 10!

Check-in and check-out was smooth, rooms were serviced daily and towels / refreshments replenished, the air-conditioning is very good and rooms are very clean. While space is a premium in Singapore, the rooms are well arranged to optimize the space. Wishing the team at the hotel all the very best.

Small and stinky room, the bathroom is a bit broken, and the sink has many mended splits and a very tiny shower space, so when showering, the water kept flowing out. Cleanliness should improve more. Can’t set up the temperature of air conditioner, turn on or off, either too cold or too hot. Bath sheets are broken and with some stains. The good point is convenient location, many food stores nearby.

The location is the main consideration, very strategic. Close to the MRT station, near to food centers especially halal ones. Furthermore, the staff are very friendly, room cleanliness is well-maintained. The room size is relatively small but suitable for the price and still quite comfortable. Overall, I will definitely come back here again when in Singapore.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and they let me check in a few hours early. The room was clean and the view of the area was beautiful. The swimming pool was great as well. The hospitality was first class. I’ll definitely come back when I come back to Singapore next year. The area of the hotel is very convenient as well.

I've stayed here before the pandemic and the rate and service was good so naturally I returned here on my visit. The price was fair, the service was good, and the waiting time on the lobby and lift is still tolerable. not mentioning easy access to mrt and 24hrs food. and the express checkout is so practical for us. thanks

The hotel location is great near at the MRT station and bus terminal very accessible. One thing i noticed was there is a foul smell in the comfort room inside our room even it was clean. I cant figure out where that smell coming from i hope V Hotel Lavender do something to this matter. But all in all it was a good hotel to stay.

when I arrived at the hotel at 16:30, I was informed that my room was not ready for check-in. This was surprising and frustrating, as I had made a reservation well in advance, and my check-in time was clearly mentioned in my booking confirmation. I had planned my travel schedule accordingly and expected to have immediate access to my room upon arrival the hotel lobby was overcrowded with a tour group, and the noise and commotion made it challenging to find a comfortable place to wait while my room was being prepared

The stay was good. the rooms were very small considering staying two people. Have such a big hotel you should have a restaurant. There is no travel desk available. You can provide coffee/tea to guests as complimentary. Otherwise it was good. I will certainly recommend your hotel to may friends and relatives.

Nice hotel in a nice neighborhood. Very close to Lavender MRT. Plenty possibilities to have a meal in the many food shops close by. The hotel itself has good, clean rooms with all you need for a comfortable stay. I couldn't find the laundry service but I'm sure there must be one. The breakfast was OK. One can choose local or western food. Sufficient variation and a great place to have breakfast sitting outside. From the restaurant I only ordered room service , which was tasteful and reasonably priced.

Last week, I spent 5 days at Lavender Hotel with my kids and parents (group of 6 people). I had a great experience there but there are few areas which can be looked at. Check in process, Check out process, Room cleaning, Staff hospitality was all great. However, two areas which can be looked at are - i) Rush at Breakfast / Options - With 700+ rooms in the hotel, this area can be improved. ii) Some foul smell which was taken care by staff using a spray.

On arrival I was disappointed as the room did not match the pictures on the website and lobby screens. The room and bathroom are on the smaller side but was sufficient for a short stay. The bed, linen and pillows were all of a high quality and we slept well every night if our 4 night stay. Air con and wifi are very good. TV options limited but I did not need to spend a lot of time in the Room. It was handy to have laundry machines on site.

The great location near by the city and very close to MRT Lavender station, with the reasonable price. Check in is very convenient with the great pleasant staff. The food courts are under the hotel with various food. The room is a little bit narrow for 3 people also with the rest room.

Super recommended, worth every penny hotel! Service: The hotel front desk is fast, they have express checkout as well. Staffs are very helpful. Asked for extra bottle of water and they send it to our room quickly. Cleaning is just so-so. Not really neat. Location: really convenient. Right in the lobby outside there is money changer. Then connected to the lobby there are food court, stalls, and direct access to MRT. 100% recommended location. Amenities: 3 star hotel standard Will definitely stay here again in case looking for budget hotel with convenient location.

Stayed October 30 to November 02, 2023 5D4N Family of 9 My first time to stay here with family and as what the others have said, the location is what you book for in this hotel. The rooms are, of course, tiny, and good enough for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 toddlers. Major complaint would have to be the size of the bathroom and shower area. You literally need to be standing straight and stiff in the shower. Amenities and toiletries are the bare minimum. Replenishment of water is very good. Doors and walls are thin so expect some noisy neighbors but nothing too major. Very helpful and courteous porter service. By the way, make sure to click the DO NOT DISTURB sign, otherwise, cleaning will be done even if you did not ask for it. This is a very popular hotel amongst travelers so don't expect luxury, but a really decent and no frills hotel. Being directly connected to the MRT, a McDonald's and Kopitiam and numerous food stalls at the Ground level, and I probably am going to be repeating my stay here. 3.75 / 5 stars

Overall good for what it was. Room and bathroom was very small for 3 people. Adequate for how long we stayed there for. Good location to everything. Didn't interact with staff much, but they were friendly when we did speak with them. Would stay in a different hotel next time for more space.

overall, the experience was enjoyable. The hotel is in a very strategic location because it is close to the Lavender MRT station and also the bus. Lots of food around the hotel too. The room is quite big and the air conditioner is cold. Every day it is also cleaned and given new mineral water. The only downside was that when we first wanted to check in, the room we were given turned out to be already occupied, so we needed to go back down to the lobby and wait to get a new room.

Found this hotel as a recommendation during my specified dates and booked directly with the hotel. Check in was busy but efficient and managed to check in a few minutes. Front desk did mention of a guest’s car park, which is convenient if I ever drive into Singapore. Hotel room is quite spacious, bed is comfortable and the toilet is doable considering the size. They only provide one pillow for a bed but they do offer more pillows when requested. Unfortunately didn’t get to explore the hotel’s facilities like its pool and gym; however, I would likely stay again if I’m flying in or driving in to Singapore. Overall, I would say it’s the best value hotel in all aspects; such as price, location, facilities and service.

Everything was smooth, from the check-in until the check-out. They gave us a complimentary early check-in at 12pm and complimentary late check-out at 1pm. They never failed to clean the room everyday and provided all necessities. They even provided us more pillows to make us feel more comfortable during the stay. The hotel is also very accessible from the MRT. Overall experience is excellent. We'll stay again once we go back to SG.

Great hotel for location as it is right on top of the lavender MRT. The swimming pool and gym were nice. Can get busy with some big tour groups. I did not get breakfast with my room and got a great deal. Lots of breakfast options nearby. Only issue: A lack of lounge chairs at the pool. They could use another half dozen reclining lounge chairs.

We adjusted the temperature to 18 degrees Celsius, but it was still hot. However, the location of the hotel was excellent. Very easy to commute to the MRT and the bus. Lots of great restaurants around the hotel, especially the food court.

The breakfast food is not really good. We skipped one day and ate out. Also suggest to make hot chocolate available even if it has to be paid for; just have it available for ordering. The room is nice. It's cool (as in the temperature), especially since it's generally hot outside. It's also got a decent view, but the bathroom specifically can still be improved with more free essential toiletries like like body lotion and q tips. Hopefully can be added in the future. The pool is nice, but there's no area for small kids. With all that it lacks, it makes up for being in a PERFECT LOCATION. A train station right below it, a nice neighborhood, and a surroundings of good food!

This was my second time staying at this hotel. It's a good standard hotel. Clean rooms, a good breakfast, and convenient to the Subway. There are lots of food options nearby. The walls between the rooms is a bit thin so it was noisy at time. Would definitely stay again if I was in Singapore.

I had stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The location is very good. I love the area that can reach the airport and access the city easily. The room is fit for 2 people perfectly. Looking forward to stay here again for the next trip. Thank you.

Writing this review to give a positive feedback about Jason (duty manager at front desk). We had a request with respect to change of our room as the room we got had a wall in front of it. Jason was quite sensitive to our requirement and immediately offered a room at better location. His prompt action is well appreciated. Thanks Jason for making our stay comfortable.

I had a great time staying at V Lavender. Aside from its strategic position and easy access to transportation, I had wonderful service from the staff members, especially Mr. Masri. He's very helpful and communicative. The V Lavender hotel is also surrounded by halal food, so we can simply grab lunch and dinner nearby. I will definitely come back and stay at V Lavender on my next visit.

The place is located at a very prime spot where it is both easy to access public transporation, and find good restaurants and cafes around, but the most impressive of all was the service. Big thanks to Falcon and Jason for ensuring that our stay in V Hotel was nothing short of amazing. They were attentive to our requests and were easy to communicate with.

Great hotel location , which is very near the MRT location, at Lavender. A lot of eateries nearby. Also a supermarket nearby the hotel. Had booked a superior room initially but ask for a change to twin bed room but was rejected initially, then surprisingly, they found a twin room for us. Good and clean hotel. But the reception team, should smile more and be more helpful. Overall a great stay!

Outstanding service from the new counter service staff, we saw her name on the badge as Sheela. She was friendly, efficient and welcoming. Helped us to get a room in the same floor although fully booked. A great experience! γ‚γ‚ŠγŒγ¨γ†οΌ

Great location just above MRT station. The staff are helpful and attentive. The room is small but quite convenient for the Singapore price range. You can easily find food stalls around the hotel. I will definitely come again next time I visit Singapore.

I recently stayed at the V Hotel Lavender and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location was perfect - close to shopping, restaurants, and all the attractions that Lavender has to offer. The hotel also had a great pool and gym, which was a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Singapore.

This hotel is conveniently located right below Lavender MRT station, with a food court nearby and a currency exchange counter in the hotel lobby. The hotel is exceptionally clean, beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable, albeit not very spacious. Although the windows cannot be opened, they still provide natural light. The hotel features a clean and spacious swimming pool. The staff members are friendly and cheerful, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

This is one of nice hotel in Singapore. Located in center of the city. I visited during covid starting period. Overall experience is good at the hotel and food is quite tasty.

Clean room with excellent amenities. Great location as it’s just 2 minutes walk from the MRT station where you will be surrounded by many options for local food as you travel through the isle. Great place despite having a customer service hang up on my call when I asked for a late checkout. I guess there’s still a lot of room to improve when it comes to customer service.

We stayed for 4 nights here. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Everything is available at walking distance from this place. Nearest MRT is also like 150m away. Very convenient for tourists. The only shortfall is the room size but thats the scenario for almost all the budget options in Singapore. Otherwise very neat and clean and good services. Safety wise also no issues. Breakfast honestly was a disappointment though.

Rooms were slightly small but very clean with all the basic amenities. Decent breakfast, nothing to complain. The room service was terrible though. Took 2 hours, 3 phone calls and a trip to the reception to get 2 bottles of water. The lady at the reception even told me that she has already sent the bottles and as per her records we have received it!!!

Cons - There was a small cockroach in the room. Please clean properly. Pros - The location is very strategic and convenient. - 1 minute walk from MRT to hotel and it’s sheltered (When it’s raining, you won’t get wet). - There are a lot of restaurants nearby in case you get hungry. If you walk 5 minutes further, you will find lots of nice cafes for brunch. - Service was good. Receptionist and other staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, V Hotel provided a stylish and convenient base for my Singapore adventure, and I would gladly return for another enjoyable stay.
