Let's start with the positives. Location is good and the breakfast buffet is good. The staff at the restaurant are polite and good too. That's it! The rooms are too small. The service is pathetic!! Room service happens every 3rd day of your stay.. We stayed 4 days and still didn't experience it!! No towel changes, no cleaning, nothing!! If you ask for towels, they ask you to whatsApp, call other number Or ask you to call later.. Believe me, caring your own towels is lot more hassle free!! The staff at the reception are extremely rude and know nothing about customer service - that's the last thing you can expect from them!!! Overall, there are better options at the price that they charge. We surely regretted staying here..

One of the worst experience I had. Dirty rooms. Poor hospitality. Booked the room in advance but they allowed to check in around 5pm saying the room was not ready. No outside foods allowed, no housekeeping. Our booking included breakfast but they offered the bread with fungus. Had to be hospitalised because of food poisoning. Total waste of money. Better to choose other hotels at the same price.

Nice hotel situated above what seems to be an abandoned mall. Great service from staff and the room was tidy and well decorated. Transit to the airport or downtown is a bit far. Would stay again if needed something in this area

I booked, paid, informed the checked in time advance by the Booking app which I checked in around 4 p.m that I had to wait for the room more than 20 minutes due to it was not ready but it doesn’t matter. Then, the overall is quite okay including clean, comfortable, and nice service! I really like the nice view from the room’s window during the night time because I stayed on ninth floor.

Rooms are quite small but manageable Breakfast choices are good. Laundry available on 4th floor. Its a challenge to get rooms cleaned often if staying for a few weeks For two or three days its not an issue

During my recent stay at ibis Styles Singapore On Macpherson, I was delighted to experience exceptional service from Ms. Emily at the front hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us warmly and ensured that our every need was taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms at ibis Styles Singapore On Macpherson were thoughtfully designed, featuring high-quality furnishings that struck a perfect balance between comfort and functionality. The attention to detail was evident, while the excellent soundproofing allowed for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, despite the hotel's busy nature. I must commend the entire hotel staff for their professionalism and friendliness, mirroring the high standard set by Ms. Emily. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant staff, everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely focused on ensuring our stay was enjoyable. It's worth mentioning that the hotel offers fantastic amenities on level 4, including a swimming pool, gym, and a breakfast dining area, all conveniently located in one place. One minor inconvenience was the location of the self-laundry facilities on level 5, which is situated in a far corner from the lift. However, clear signage and notes guiding guests towards the coin dispenser were available, making the process easier. All in all, my first experience at an ibis hotel exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to Ms. Emily's remarkable service and the friendly staff at ibis Styles Singapore On Macpherson. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay, with its well-designed rooms, convenient amenities on level 4, and the attentive and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

It's totally a budget hotel which is maintained very neatly. But the room size is very very small that we don't even have a space to keep the luggage. Not at all recommended for family as there is no moving space at all. But may be good for single person. Location is little far where there is no good restaurants in walkable distance.

Worst ever hotel. Housekeeping doesn't exist. Housekeepers and reception couldn't be worser. Towels aren't changed for days even after requesting. No room cleaning in 4 days. The sizes are very small and the employees are very rude and uncooperative. If the workers are disgruntled with their job, taking it out on guests is a bad idea. Anyways I was searching for a zero or negative rating but 1 is the least you can give so be it.

Finding a reasonably priced good quality hotel in Singapore is a big challenge! I'm so glad we chose Ibis on Macpherson. The rooms are neatly designed with good quality furnishing and finishing - clean and practical. Sound proof was great - there were hardly any noise but we know it's a busy hotel. The staff were very cheerful, helpful and professional - from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant. Well done! And the hotel takes all measure to be environmental friendly - especially like the idea that to refill drinking water with glass jar provided in the room, instead of giving water in plastic bottles. This is so far the second hotel i came across. SUPER Thumbs-up. But suggest to have water refill station at every floor cause of the high volume of guests and busy lifts. I am sure the hotel can easily add a refill water station on every floor. I have always been a fan of Ibis hotels - have stayed in more than 3 in different countries. Never been disappointed.

Check in was prompt and pleasant. To everyone who intent to book this room. Don't even think about it. Upon checking into the room, I went to the toilet and to my horror. I found feces in the toilet bowl! Another horror story, kettle were missing, called them to request for it. When I received it I was shocked The staff were apologetic and I won't blame him. Missing teaspoon which I wouldn’t mind since I’m not using. The floor is not pleasant to step on, I don’t have the habit of wearing slippers in indoor. This hotel successfully made me wear slippers in indoor. They provide 1 bottle of 3 in 1 shampoo and body shower gel, coffee and tea. If you need cold water you can bring the water tumbler and request from the café. They don’t clean the room during your stay. Bring your own slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, towel because they don’t change only upon request. Housekeeping seems to be understaffed. Only see 1 staff rushing to clean several rooms. Budget hotel, budget service.

The service by the hotel is very pathetic. They don’t clean your rooms daily. You have to submit a verbal request at the reception to clean the room. Inspite giving requests, they don’t clean your room. I had to give requests multiple times and then my room was cleaned on the 3rd day. They don’t provide you with drinking water bottles in the room. You are asked to drink tap water. There is no exhaust in the bathrooms. And because there is no separate washroom area in the room, the room starts to smell as the washrooms are not cleaned at all. The Room safe is broken and when I asked to change the safe or give me a new room, they told me that is not possible and I was told “You can lock the room and leave and no one will enter” The staff is not helpful at all. They talk very rudely. They have 0 decency. YOU CAN DEFINITELY FIND A BETTER HOTEL AT A MUCH BETTER PRICE THAN THIS HOTEL IS CHARGING. I travel around the world on businesses trips, but this is the worst experience that I’ve had with the hotel and hotel staff. I’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Each and every day I’ve faced some problem. THIS HOTEL IS DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in by far. I saw the Ibis name and figured it would be a safe bet, but I was very, very wrong. 1. The reception area looked cheap. Dysfunctional LED lights hung from the ceiling, and it was incredibly messy. 2. I booked a Queen sized room through Agoda, and they gave me a twin room, or a queen room with twin beds. They insist it's a queen room, despite the lack of a queen sized bed in it. Their ingenious fix was to push the beds together and chuck queen sized bedding over it. I figured I would let this slide for the time being since I was feeling unwell and just needed a space to rest. 3. Getting our room cleaned was a FIGHT. First off, what kind of hotel only does cleaning once a week? Second, we had to ask them 3 days in a row before they did anything. To add insult to injury, they made the bed with single sheets. I called and asked for a new room, but they offered to have someone come up and change the sheets. This was at 11pm. I declined their offer. They WILL expect you to inconvenience yourself for their mistakes. 4. Poor sound proofing. We stayed on level 5, above the pool, and could hear every song playing on the radio in the cafe above with crystal clear clarity. We could also hear everything going on in the adjacent room. Stay only if you don't mind being woken at 5am to screaming, laughing children from the family staying next door. 5. Poorly lit bathroom, generally lacklustre decor and room. Gaudy orange decorations all over the wall. Being in their rooms is a headache. 6. Location. Ibis budget is a better bet, but at this point I'm not sure if you'd get better service there if all Ibis staff are like this. Located in Macpherson Mall, which is one of those malls that never developed. Lots of closed down shops and sketchy pubs and bars and little else. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Booked a room to welcome Christmas with my friend, and I can say that we had a good stay. Understand the low reviews from other patrons but knowing how hotels work, I didn’t expect too much from ibis Styles. It’s a budget hotel so I know what I’m gonna experience. Location is far from the city area so it’s expected that you won’t find lots of food shops nearby. You just a have to walk for 10-15 minutes and you’ll find some food shops around. Hawker center, Chinese restaurant and Mookata stalls. Service was okay. Staff are polite and they are doing what they have to do and in our stay, all our concerns were attended accordingly. Room size was ok. I don’t understand why some people are ranting about its size wherein majority of budget hotels have the same set up. I mean, if you are looking for huge space and excellent service, you may opt for 5-star hotels instead of whining and complaining. People can do their research before selecting a certain place to stay in. I’m quite surprised about the breakfast. I didn’t expect that it will be great. Tons of selections and it’s free flowing. Overall, I personally had a good stay as it’s only a bus ride from my place which made it convenient. Ciao!

The duvets in the room were stained, TV was not working properly and the hotel room had little to no amenities. There were no toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. They don't provide the front desk contact numbers in the room so if you need to contact for any urgent matters, you need to head down to L1. On the second day, at around 8.30am, there was knocking on our door. We opened the door to a family of four standing outside our room. Apparently, the front desk gave them the same room as us. But, the thing is, we have not checked out! So why did the front desk gave them the same room as us? Shouldn't they have records in their system?? When we finally checked out of the room, the hotel staff only made an apology and mentioned that it will not happen again. However, when I read the reviews on Google, it seemed that this wasn't the first time that this happened. This was very disappointing. Me and my friends would not consider staying here again.

You would expect a hotel of this price to be at least decent. The rooms were a lot smaller than you would expect, room service was nearly non-existent with the in-room fridge not being cold at all. Though at least the staff were friendly. There was one occasion where he had ice cream that we couldn't finish, so we went down to the 4th floor, where the kitchen and restaurant was. We kindly asked one of the staff members if we could store our ice cream in their freezer and he agreed to it. Keep in mind that we specifically asked for the ice cream to be put in a freezer. The next day at around 8 pm, we went to get the ice cream, it was visible sitting in the fridge, and when we took it out, it was all melted and in a liquid state, so we politely asked the guy working there (it was the same guy who stored the ice cream on the first night) to specifically put it in a freezer, not a fridge because it was ice cream and it would melt. He nodded a few times saying yes yes yes. However the next day when we came to collect our ice cream, it was in the same fridge it was in the first night. I'm not mad over ice cream, I'm mad over the fact that the man agreed and said yes. This meant that he understood what we were saying, yet he still put the ice cream in the fridge, even though we had specifically told him it was ice cream and it needed to be stored in a freezer. I've had worse experiences at this hotel but I won't write any more. Personally, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, but my experience could be different from that of other people's.

We were at this hotel for 3 days from 18 to 20 Aug 2023. Rooms are too cramped and inconvenient. Service is really bad. During the entire period of stay, rooms were not cleaned or linen changed. This is inspite of our reminding several times. We are not at all satisfied with the hotel, except for food which is reasonably good. My advice is avoid this hotel Thanks for your response to my review. I can understand the obvious constraints. Few suggestions, if you find them worthy of consideration... 1. Change of linen could be done on alternate days (once at least if the stay is of 3 days). But this needs to be informed to the guest, so that they use towels etc. judiciously. But cleaning of room has to be done daily as seeing a shabby room once you are back, is not a pleasant experience. 2. We from India are not comfortable with toilet paper. Pl install a health faucet near the closet. Also open a sliding door between the wet and dry area. 3. With minor design modification, the wash basin can be taken inside the bathroom. Helps keep the room neat. Would be interested in knowing your response....

The room is cozy enough for an overnight stay, with some kind of elemental classy and modern vibes combined. The front desk staff and the housekeeping attendants all portrayed very good service. The location is a plus as well.

The closure of Macpherson mall affected the overall vibe of the property. The rooms are actually good though quite crowded due to that long table. It would also be nice if the toilet is fully closed at the top. No MRT close by but multiple bus stops surrounding the hotel offer opportunities for overland sightseeing at a much cheaper fare. Nice pool area as well. Overall a good budget-friendly choice.

Rooms are quite small. Even smaller than it appears in the photo. The layout is also a bit weird with a sink in the middle of the room. For some reason as well the front desk booked my room for another person. My room was opened by someone who just checked in during the middle of the night. They just apologized but without any explanation or ownership of their mistake. Location can be a hit or miss. There are hawker centers nearby for food but thats just about it. The nearest train stations are also at least 15 minutes walk away. Decent hotel if you’re on a budget but there are better options for the price

Stayed for four night during a business trip, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The amenities are quite basic but It’s a good hotel if you’re looking for value for money since the location is quite far from the center of Singapore and you will need to spend more on transportation.

Good stay for 2-days... for those who have tight budget Ibis would be right for you. The room i stayed is quite and clean and had a good outside view from my window at the 9th floor. Hot or cold shower available but bring or buy your own hair-shampoo though.

Wanted to give zero stars but don't have that option. Sandy and nick at the reception have shown the least interest in being hospitable as they guided us to a mall outside to use a washroom and freshen up. Zero responsibility towards helping to get a room early. Would recommend to stay on the footpath in a tent rather stepping in this hotel. Water is only available if you have room.

Ibis Styles, usually provides the most basic accommodations, and this place lives up to that! This is a decent hotel for a low price point. The price of a last minute booking is astronomical, so never wait to the last couple days to book in Singapore. The house cleaners are working hard, and the room was clean. The housekeeper on the 4th floor, has great courtlier service skills and is very nice. Water available, that was a plus. Safe didn’t work. No one answers when you call for assistance. Desk workers do a great job at the basic minimum that’s needed, for customer service. Bring earplugs, you won’t be able to sleep with out them. Bed is hard. I did see on tick tick this is a Covid quarantine hotel, but maybe they all are? I’m not sure.

U can have a comfortable stay at this hotel.. the best thing which I loved and specially recommend to all of you is to opt for the pool view room.. it was completely awesome. The view is insane. And the reason for giving 4 stars is restrooms.. they were too small. But for 1-2 days you can have a comfortable stay. The complementary breakfast taste's really good I hope this review is useful. Thank you:)

Average hotel that is justifiable for the price point. The rooms are small, but contain all the amenities necessary. Breakfast can be added at a reasonable fee. Service levels are not exceptional, but acceptable at the price point. There is no delay in providing services. Overall, average - but great value for money.

Please read carefully, location of this hotel is far from metro + city location. Food joints are always close around this hotel area. please see all the details before book this hotel. Food is not so good, also rooms are really small, than the actual given images, Hotel staff service is really not worth for what we pay them.

This hotel is a bit far from the city centre and far from mrt Station, may need some walk distance. The room is clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Hotel security is safe and good. The hotel also has self laundry facilities for all the visitors' use (cost for laundry is 10dollar) it really adds more points for those who are planning the long vacation here. The breakfast of the hotel is just normal, and the surroundings of the hotel are the housing area, so at night it is really quiet and safe.

Stayed for 2 weeks with another adult and a baby and we had no major issue. It was a comfortable stay. They were able to provide a baby cot but my baby did not like sleeping in it. We did not get the room with breakfast but had it for 1 day (we paid separately in the restaurant). Choices were limited, quite basic, but complete. We noticed though that while they were refilling the bread station, that the staff doing so was not wearing any gloves. I’m sure he washed his hands but it would be more sanitary if he was wearing gloves. Location was okay but MRT stations were quite far. There are nearby bus stops that lead to MRT stations and other landmarks. There are several hawkers at the back of the hotel, as well as a supermarket that’s open 24H. They were mentioning though that shuttle services to MRT stations were available upon request but everytime I requested for one, they were either busy, running errands, or simply not available. I requested once as it was raining and they said that it was not available, and that I can take the bus to the station, but I as I had my baby with me, I am not able to do that. Had to take taxi instead. Figured the shuttle was never going to be available, never tried requesting for it again. Service from the front desk staff were great. Staff from the restaurant were also great though 1 took a photo of my baby while swimming. I don’t know how to ask her to delete the photo, so I just let it. But I imagine some parents would take issue with that. Housekeeping lady was quite rude. There was one time she wanted to say something but because of language barrier, it was not said, but the way she approached me and her facial expression is quite rude. We requested for a late check out (an hour after normal check out) and as we were taking our luggages and bags outside in the hallway, the housekeeping lady was already inside the room, cleaning, handing us our things. Maybe she did not know that we are checking out late, but to do that, as if she’s kicking us out of the room, we found that offensive. We were not able to check the room thoroughly for any belongings that might be left behind. I was able to relay this issue to the front desk staff upon check out and she assured us that it will be highlighted, which I appreciated. All in all, barring that issue with the housekeeper on check out day, we are quite satisfied with everything in ibis macpherson.

I highly recommend Ibis Styles Singapore on MacPherson. All the staff went over and above to make our stay an enjoyable one. Recently returned from a weeks stay for a sporting event with a large team and they made our team feel so special. The pool is nice and big and is a perfect spot to unwind. Great place to stay, lovely staff and we will return for sure.

Decent room but cleanliness isn’t the best. My bed had another mattress on top for some reason. Pillows were bad and only had 2. Had to WhatsApp for the dining menu as directed but only received a reply one day later… The location doesn’t offer much either, but good if you’re on a budget.

The hotel was very good, near of the metro station, the service was excellent, they had helped us in every single question we had, and wishes. It was really a great experience to have the last night in Singapore there before fly back home. We were even able to stay at the swimming pool till the time we had to drive to the airport. They even asked us if we would like to get a ride to the metro station with the big luggages in their transfer. Also the breakfast is incredible good, with a lot of choices, and the restaurant was also very good food.

Teeny tiny rooms, nice and clean and everything you need though. Pool is great and just what is needed in steamy Singapore. Breakfast is excellent, pancake maker and croissants top notch. Location is a bit of a way's out from central Singapore but public transport is excellent

Lovely swimming pool but our room backed onto it so we felt abit exposed. The reception staff were great suggesting where to sight see and giving advice on transport. Although a little out of town the transport system is extremely good and cheap so this was not a problem.

I stayed at this place for three days. It wasn't a remarkable experience. The rooms were pretty good but cramped. The hotel staffs were extremely rude @ the Indians. They never had a smiling face, always in a state of anger. Ofcourse the restaurant is always busy, but as a hospitality segment it is inevitable for the staffs to put up a friendly behaviour rather than rudeness. I would suggest that the employee be trained to handle customer in a much more polite and cultured way.

Employees couldn’t find our Agoda booking number. It took them about fifty minutes to get us a room. We got up to the room, and found three small beds instead of one queen size bed. We had to go to the lobby again to get a correct room.

Received QO from MOH stay in this hotel , very simple room but clean ,the bed is big & comfortable …other than that …nothing is better…. The hotel did not provide tooth blush & toothpaste , no shower cap , no comb , only shower gel & soap in the bath room . The TV show very boring & not clear …the worst thing is the internet connection is very poor also ! Can’t even online watching my Korean drama ! We stayed for a week in a Family Room. The room was clean & a good size. There were very minimal toiletries provided - only soap & a combination shower gel/shampoo/conditioner but it was no issue to buy our own from the supermarket downstairs. The children loved the pool & it was set up perfectly for us to be able to watch them in one of the surrounding cabanas. The breakfast was good - a satisfactory variety of foods. The staff were very helpful. It’s a busy place but they always tried their best to assist us. Doreen (a trainee) at the front desk was very helpful & lovely. We were celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday & she assisted in storing a birthday cake in the hotel’s fridge & balloons I’d ordered to be put in my room when I was out. The shuttle bus to China Town & Orchard Road was a good service. The hotel is a bit out of town so having this free service is a nice alternative to paying a bit extra for taxis all the time. Make sure to book in advance though, especially if you’re travelling with a bigger group. For a budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised with Ibis Styles. Thank you to the staff :)

This is a hotel that's not the best in town. They no longer provide shuttle bus ever since pandemic. They only do housekeeping every 4th day of your stay. The room toilet design is rather awkward with the wash basin in the room. Nearby no eateries. Walking distance to bus stop. The mall attached to the mall is dead. I won't come back to this hotel.

I was sent to this hotel overnight and my accommodation was paid for by the airline Jetstar after a flight delay meant I'd missed my connecting flight. I arrived here at 12am and the staff were polite and helpful. I was provided with a tray dinner which was unappetising, so I'd recommend finding somewhere to eat dinner out if you're staying here. The room was very comfortable, clean and had good air conditioning. The buffet breakfast was good with tasty food and a good range of options. The shuttle bus arrangement to the airport from the hotel could have been better managed. The hotel is also in an area with very little of interest, largely residential. If you want somewhere close to attractions this is not the place

Hotel is located at the back corner of MacPherson Mall. Follow the signs to enter the lobby of the hotel. The lobby is small and barely enough space to stand or sit as you check in. Felt like I had to wait longer than usual to check in. Service was good though. The staff accommodated us and was friendly and cheerful. I came at 3.15pm to check in (Check in time is at 3pm) and my room was not ready yet. They offered me free drinks and food at the hotel restaurant. Very nice gesture and thankful for that. Rooms were clean and bigger than other budget hotels. You need to request for things like toothbrush, and slippers. Bed was comfortable. But there was not enough space when you open a big luggage. Being an Accor member, I will only return to this hotel, if not other hotels or rooms are available Singapore.

Great experience overall. We reached there after midnight and received the required support from the reception. Price is reasonable, and the location is great. We liked the buffet breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

Very good budget friendly hotel. It's o k.for two to three days.we have enjoyed there specially break fast system. Bedrooms are average but bathroom as well as toilet should be more specious. Our overall experience is better.

The hotel location may be a bit off from the city, but there are public buses nearby -- and a short bus ride away will take you to Blue and Yellow line MRT stations. The room is nice and quiet. It's small (but manageable). What I find odd about the room is that the windows are tinted yellow, always yellowing the entire room. You may not be comfortable working in the room during the day under these yellow/orange lights. The bathroom has no bidet (like most hotels in Singapore), and there's no drinking water provided (you can drink tap water, though). WiFi is relatively fast, and breakfast is consistent, usually consisting of Indian dishes, some fruits, and Western breakfast (toast, sausages, scrambled eggs); the menu is the same every day. The people working at the restaurants are super nice and friendly (they need a raise!). The front desk though… Despite all of that, still pretty good value. Will come back.

It's totally a budget hotel which is maintained very neatly. But the room size is very very small that we don't even have a space to keep the luggage. Not at all recommended for family as there is no moving space at all. But may be good for single person. Location is little far where there is no good restaurants in walkable distance.

Edited to add response: A confirmed reservation email was received - and a subsequent phone call to the hotel confirmed that you had cancelled the reservation because you were overbooked. For fully refundable fares which are actually more expensive than the pre-paid non-refundable fares, it is unacceptable that you can overbook and cancel. I stayed on at Ibis Melaka for two weeks after this with no issues. Poor service from this hotel - I had a confirmed reservation but on the day of the stay, after I had already landed in Singapore, they cancelled my reservation. It was abrupt too, without even a phone call to notify me of the status. I am a frequent visitor to Accor hotels but I will not trust this hotel again.

Cleanliness is good. Rooms are small. Breakfast is good sometimes. Small tip.. if someone need jet sprays they are situated on the pool side toilets.
