The location is excellent!!!! The room was smaller than I expected. The bed is a double, not a queen. My husband's feet hung clear off the end. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. No windows meant our room stayed totally dark in the morning which was good for us to sleep in. It was a very quiet hotel and location. Bedding and towels were nice. Room was clean. Very difficult to shower without having to practically sit on the toilet to do so. We did have a mini fridge which was really nice. We probably wouldn't return here. For less than half the price we could just get a pod bed in the same area which are queen size and more comfortable even if it is a shared bathroom. Not much less space and a better bed.

As budget hotel, it has acceptable level of size and cleanness, friendly stuff and smooth check in process. Deducted 2 stars for a noisy air-condition, that did not get fixed after i told them, water heater was not powerful and after few min water gets cold. If you get room with back street view be aware of noises at morning. The location is perfect for night walk or using public transportation. In compare to other IBIS in other countries, this one has lower service( for example Ibis Cambodia was perfect and super good). If you have quick trip and looking for low fare option, this one can be good choose 😊.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget Clark Quay for three night with price approximately at 180 Sing $/ per night. I really understand how living cost is extravagance in this country, especially about real estate. Foyer is small, but serviceable, check in and check out were fast and easy. The room was Very small, but nice enough. The Bathroom was smaller & is a wet room, so no separation between shower, toilet & sink & no place to put anything.... however, as I said it's a "Budget" Hotel! It's also the first place I think I've stayed with no fridge, no mini bar, no wardrobe. My room wasn't serviced, at all, the whole time I was there.. which was disappointing. The room seem to be not sound- proof room because I can hear so many loud from lobby in the midnight.

Perfectly adequate for a few days. It is a "budget" hotel. The girls at reception are both friendly & helpful. My room is clean & comfortable but lacks storage space for clothes & the shower is badly designed. There really is a swimming pool!

We stayed for 4 days and our experience was great. Check in was fast and the front desk staff Thivyna was very helpful . Location is great. We had a room with a window. Though the room was small, it was clean. Breakfast was at Fangko and they had a variety of food to choose from. Our overall experience was great.

The services is terrible. Staff attitude is coarse, no-supportive at all. And They even can not issue a correct bill for me. The room is tiny, some rooms will not have the windows . The price doesn’t worth with quality and service. It is just a backrest. And pls note, this hotel doesn’t have the Accor Plus Member program, I am a gold member, I came here for the more special services but the cold, arrogant male receptionist treats me even worse than usual.

After staying couple of days in Hokiday Inn orchard road..I had to shift here due non availability for two nights. I was little skeptical about this property as the name suggests BUDGET. To my surprise, this was a very net and clean property. Rooms are small, storage space under the bed and a locker too. House keeping was quick. Buffet is complimentary with a nice menu. Overall I will recommend this property as it's value for money owing to it's location as well. Go for it folks. Keep in mind rooms are small but manageable.

Room is small but quiet and comfortable. Can't expect much since this is a Ibis Budget. Price is comparatively lower than other hotels. And the location is fantastic with only a short walk to the nearest MRT station, shopping malls and scenic spots. A 7-11 store is located conveniently next door.

We had a great stay. The room was not only clean but also boasted an excellent location. Close to metro stations, museums, and attractions made exploring the city a breeze. The value for money was outstanding, offering a comfortable stay with convenience. Highly recommended for those seeking both quality and affordability.

We stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days. We had booked 2 rooms without windows which was a big mistake due to no ventilation. 1 room had air purifier but we could see the leakage on the wall and not sure about moulds but was not happy with the room according to the cost. The bathroom was really small which is okay to stay for 2 nights or so. The bathroom door did not have a handle and we could not close the bathroom door at night, there were small insects in the bathroom which would enter the bedroom. The pool is clean and maintained but the height is really not enough to swim comfortably. There is a gym which has only a treadmill and a cycling machine which again we did not use. Overall the location is the best especially if required to use public transportation. Food wise you can catch a bus to Lau pa sat, China Town, boat quay or little India. Crab set go in Clarke quay is highly recommended for crabs and worth the cost. I would recommend this place only if you are going to be out of the hotel almost the entire day and only need a place to freshen up and sleep in the nights and keep your luggage. Overall the staff was friendly. They do not provide drinking water or any kind of toiletries. In case if you are easily annoyed by dust or noise the building next to this hotel is under construction and on the last day the road in front of the hotel was being repaired which is a good thing in a way but kind of an inconvenience too.

The room was good, a little small but that was expected. The bathroom unfortunately was a wet room but as we were only there for two nights, we dealt with it. The cleaners did a great job with fresh towels and bedding as well. We needed covid documents printed which they did for us for free which was nice. There is a pool on the roof but we didn't try it. As a part of the building, there is a great coffee shop with food and also a 7/11. It was a quick walk to Clarke Quay metro station as well.

Nice and cosy hotel for budget travellers. Rooms are not very big but sufficient with all necessary amenities. Rooms are clean. Location is the major advantage. Near to many restaurants and bars where Clarke Quay and Boat Quay areas are within walking distance. MRT is also within short walking distance. Overall, highly recommended for the budget conscious and wont break the wallet.

Excellent location close to hawker markets and good cheap local restaurants and nearby to most major attractions via walk (30 mins) or grab (7-15 mins). Pool on floor 6 is great bonus & 7/11 attached to the hotel is very convenient and has many essentials. Rooms comfortable and clean. small size for a couple, but adequate for a couple days stay and given the price, this is a good spot to stay in. The bathroom is a wet room rather than separate shower and toilet, so please be aware of this. AC is powerful and plenty of power outlets as well as storage wardrobe which was fine for us with two backpacks We enjoyed our stay and it is a good place to explore Singapore from on a budget

When we made the reservations with Ibis Budget Hotel Clarke Quay we knew it as a budget hotel and our expectation were not too high (we were not expecting luxuries), however we were expecting the basis. For example when we arrived the reading light in the room was hanging off the wall, which I placed back and it worked the first night, however the following day when the housekeeping staff came to replaced the towels I guess they tried to fix it and then the light did not work the second night, the shower door did not closed properly and the steam came out of the shower into the room. Even thought the hotel provided a safe box, we couldn't leave anything in it, becase the box was not attached to cabinet and anybody could just take it (box not heavy). I thought it was a joke to provide a safe box that it was almost like a toy. The worse was the small refrigerator in the room, without being told it was broken we placed some food in it, just to find out the following day that the food was bad because the refrigerator was broken. when reporting all these issues all we got was a thank you for letting us know.

We've stayed here once before and had a very small room, not even space for suitcase. This time booked a superior twin room which had a little bit more space. It at least had a window and was reasonably comfortable. We could place both our suitcases on the floor and manage to manoeuvre around them. Air-conditioning, hot water heater and coffee maker. Free WiFi. Elevator. Pool on roof. Biggest negative (then and now). It has no shower cubicle so the whole bathroom is under water when you shower. At least we were provided with a squeegee this time to sweep up the water afterwards.

We recently stayed at the Ibis Budget and enjoyed our stay. Pros: Great location (easy walking to lots of hawker markets, Chinatown, Merlion, Clarke Quay etc), really nice rooftop pool area and very friendly and welcoming staff. Cons: Rooms are on the small side, the bathroom is a bit weird (shower is right next to the toilet and there is no curtain or barrier so the toilet gets completely wet when you shower), beds are very firm. Overall a really good value hotel for the location and good if you are on a tighter budget or just staying for a few days

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ibis budget Singapore Clarke Quay, and the experience was truly exceptional. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, catering to every need with a warm and welcoming demeanor. The room was immaculate, showcasing a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy ambiance. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the well-stocked minibar, did not go unnoticed. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a gastronomic delight. The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, each prepared with finesse and bursting with flavor. The chef's culinary skills were truly commendable. Moreover, the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The concierge service was helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions and arranging transportation. In conclusion, my stay at ibis budget Singapore Clarke Quay exceeded expectations, leaving me with fond memories. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and delightful hotel experience

Positives · Good location, rooftop pool was an awesome feature. Check out at 12pm was also great. While the room was small, this was expected for the price and location. Negatives · The corridors had a mouldy/musty smell - thankfully the rooms did not smell the same. Bed was very firm and the wet room style bathroom was inconvenient; but both of the above are typical of accommodation in Asia.

Reminds me of student accommodation. Overall it's okay but the bed is extremely hard and there's a lot of noise coming from the hallway so maybe get some earplugs. I like the pool and the location but the bed is just no good.

  • 3/5 Mitch F. 7 months ago on Google
Room was clean and simple. We stayed in a room without windows so no street noise, no outside light, however the bed was extremely firm, and the bathroom is one area for shower, sink and toilet. Hard to have 2 large suitcases open given the floor space but overall not bad value for money

  • 5/5 Iulian D. 8 months ago on Google
The hotel has great value for money. As stated in the name it's a budget one, so don't expect luxury. The rooms are small but functional. The shower bath situation is ingenious, but some might find it disturbing because the shower is basically in the same room as the toilet seat and sink. So after you shower everything will be wet. The breakfast is at the caffee across the entrance to the hotel and the food was good and plenty ( there are 8 or 9 predefined variants you can choose from).

The location is great! Less than 10mins walk to Clarke Quay Central mall & there is an access MRT station in the mall itself. Boat Quay is also about 10-15mins walk. Despite that it's a budget hotel, the housekeeping staffs did a great job at making sure the rooms are clean. The roof top pool is great too and my kids love it. Breakfast was simple but good & filling. The property only provide 1 pillow per person instead of the standard of 2 pillows per person. Also the bed can be a bit firm so it can be uncomfortable. Overall, we are happy and definitely will come again!

In my opinion, this hotel seems tailored for guests of Asian height. It worked perfectly for me. Remarkably clean with excellent showers – strong, hot water and ok quality toiletries. Plus, it's a short 3-4 min walk to Clarke Quay MRT.

  • 2/5 Amanda S. 6 months ago on Google
It wasn't a good experience. We arrived and they gave us a room with no windows (did't say anything on our reservation). The beds were together separated by a giant "pillow" (not like the photos) and the toilet was smelly.

  • 4/5 Kristel R. 5 months ago on Google
Given the size of the room (12 m2) they probably did their best. But make sure You book superior (the kind with a window). Otherwise the contrast between the elegant city of Singapore and Your own accommodation may be too frustrating. Suprisingly poor choice of tv chanels. Yes, they are many but very local; no CNN, no BBC... Perfect location and available staff.

  • 5/5 Dimitris L. 5 months ago on Google
Value for money , budget hotel . Clean facilities and rooms , freindly staff . The only disadvantage is that breakfast is offered at extra cost from next door Fangko cafe and the quality of dishes selected for Hotel clients is minor. If you chose to buy directly you get better quality and more variety .

Considering the budget, I would be more appreciate the service and also the check-in and check-out process is pretty fast. The family room is cool. The location is super amazing. Its pretty silent around the area so many restaurant and bar that open till late night.

Very disappointing. I have travelled all the world for cheap and this is bad. Whatever you imagine this is, it's worse. Rooms are very bad. The bed is hardly softer than the floor and the toilet+shower is a room 1x1.5m. I'm not exaggerating. The shower is literally a hose next to the toilet (in the user small bathroom, so imagine). You leave everything wet and you can't enter the toilet for hours until the floor is dry or you will get your feet wet. Also the ventilation is s... The room smells like humid and there is no way to get rid of it (well, meybe if you don't shower and leave the aircon on for all day...). On top of that, they messed up our reservation. My gf also hates me for booking this... If the price was less than 70/day, it would make sense. But for a similar price to any other place, the other place is for sure better choice. We paid more than double of what I would pay for this place. I don't understand who gave 3 stars to this place... To be honest, I have been in 2 star hostels much better than this.

  • 1/5 borfina m. 6 months ago on Google
The perfect location, instead of the horrible rooms, the first night I asked for another room because I had a problem with the electricity panel. You can't breathe from so much mold, the rooms are small, an unbearable smell, the bathroom is also enormously small, there is no shower cabin, you take a shower next to the toilet. Considering the small space, there is no closet where you can put your clothes, you have to leave them on the chair/bed.

Stayed here for 4 nights a couple of weeks ago. The room is extremely small (we had the upgraded one but it is only marginally bigger than the standard so I would skip the upgrade) and was quite expensive (roughly £113 a night) for such a basic room. There was one very nice receptionist and a couple of moodier ones. The breakfast included was next door in a cafe and it was a refreshing change to not see the usual ibis buffet. My favourite was the room cleaner; he was so friendly, warm and welcoming and was truly very sweet; the epitome of excellent customer service. There was a swimming pool on the roof and though we didn’t have time to use it, it looked very clean and nice. The location is great; you can walk to Chinatown very easily and as Singapore has so many malls, you are never far from any food outlets. I’d recommend this place if it was a bit cheaper and if you don’t mind a small compact space (you shower right next to the toilet with no screen in between!).

Bathroom is tiny and hard to use: 1) the door can only be pushed close from inside - no handle outside 2) when taking shower, water wets the toilet and the floor - no divider or curtain 3) no trash can in the bathroom - only a tiny plastic bag No chairs - only a small stool. The desk is simply a piece of wood sticking out of the wall with a surface area of ~2x a laptop Reservation isn't refundable or changeable. I reserved it for 5 nights since other hotels weren't available but I got stuck here for 5 nights - the hotel wouldn't allow change to 4 nights. The bedsheet isn't clean and the tissue box only had ~4 sheets of paper upon arrival.

Absolutely amazing location - you can walk to the best of places in Singapore. The rooms are quite small (but since it's Clarke - it's small everywhere), make sure to get room with window. The staff is very friendly & helpful.

Excellent location, very convenient. Rooms and bathroom are on the small side but not unrealistically so. Only main complaint is that the air con is quite loud and can make it hard to sleep.

No response to emails. I had a cancelled flight and tried to change booking dates - I emailed numerous times with no response I had to go to Trip.com who I booked through. They eventually got a response after calling and emailing 3 days later. The hotel responded informing me they are charging 100% of the full original price.

This is a budget hotel with small rooms. In a room with no window, there is only limited space to put your bags. Self service to take luggage to room yourself when you check in. No bottles provided. How to reach - From changi airport, you need to reach echo and change like to downtown like towards punngo, get down at China town mrt and then take a purple line to Clarke quay, easily reachable from Clarke quay mrt, 40 Mts precisely. Nearby restaurants are burger kind, subway in the central mall. Right next is a 7/11 store.

The location of this hotel is perfect! Close to restaurants, shops and 7 eleven just downstairs. Include breakfast in your stay, because the cafe - FANKO+ downstairs is just lovely. The food is top notch and the staff are also very accommodating! The hotel room is small but it encourages you to spend more time exploring!

  • 4/5 Marg H. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are tiny and the bathroom was a wet room, but the pool on the rooftop was terrific, the beds were so hard I ended up with sciatica. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Great location to get around to all the tourist attractions.

  • 3/5 M. N. 1 year ago on Google
The place is not bad location wise, close to the center and China town is on walking distance. There is a rooftop pool which is small, but clean and it has nice view of the city. We were staying in a room without a window and there was musty and stale smell constantly, so we couldn’t sleep at all during our whole stay. Also if you don’t have the AC turned on, there will be huge condensation in the room (once we woke up with water running on the walls), while in the same time if it is on it is so strong and it blows directly over the bed. We asked for a paid upgrade, but there were no free rooms available. I am not sure how the rest of the rooms are but never choose a room without a window. The only reason for an extra star is Nadilah who was working there was so helpful and nice!

  • 2/5 David W. 1 year ago on Google
BEWARE THE ROOMS WITH NO WINDOW! The 'standard' room at this hotel is a windowless airless box - akin to a prison cell. I lasted about a minute before returning to reception and paying an extra S$20+ for a habitable room. Obviously there's nothing the staff can do to fix the problem, but this hotel appears to have a very high proportion of these awful windowless rooms. A shame, as otherwise it's OK - a typical lower-end Ibis hotel. Clean, quick & efficient staff, a great rooftop pool etc It's an extremely basic hotel, but OK this is Singapore and hotels are expensive. Great position too.

  • 2/5 Alex K. 1 year ago on Google
Location is great but room and price is ridiculous. I felt like I was in a prison cell. Pretty sure concrete would have been more comfortable than my bed. Plus my room (see photo) 220 SGD. Everything felt budget besides the price. 50 SGD more and you can stay at a lush place on orchard road (cause I did the week before). Definitely not staying here again. They called this a superior room. Feels like I got trolled.

  • 4/5 Kirstie K. 9 months ago on Google
great location and service (let us keep our bags at accom before check in) however it is definitely budget with the rooms. we didn’t have a window which wasn’t much of an issue however the shower, toilet and sink were all in one tiny room and everything got absolutely soaked.

Ibis Budget, is what it is called. Myself and a friend shared a twin room, it was tight which was expected, but there’s so much to do in Singapore that you shouldn’t need to spend too much time in the room. The rooftop pool was bigger than expected and had great views. We stayed for 2 nights, the location was great, short walk to Clarke Quay, 15-20 minute walk to Chinatown and Marina Bay, super easy to get to little India and the botanical gardens via the MRT. And a 7-eleven located directly below.

  • 4/5 Luke O. 11 months ago on Google
Overall, it was good value for money. Hotel rooms are quite small, but functional. Bed, desk and combined ensuite. For travellers it is good as it's very close to Clarke Quay MRT, has 7eleven outside and there's a nice swimming pool on the roof. Room/ensuite had bleachy smell but disappeared after AC was turned on.

Excellent location. rooms are small. No toothbrush, shower cap or sanitary bag provided. Money paid for breakfast is not worth at all. It is not usual breakfast buffet served in hotels, you need to choose an item from a fixed menu they give.

I had a wonderful experience at the Ibis Budget Singapore. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in within walking distance to good centre, Chinatown n etc. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
