We arrived after making an online booking for an anniversary dinner at Libertine's. I had requested a table where we could sit next to each other, and we were offered a private booth which provided a private and intimate setting to our dining experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and were happy to talk to us about all the dishes we ordered. We ordered a range of dishes to try, and we enjoyed very single one. Each dish had a unique set of textures and flavours. The tiger prawn croissants and the pork belly were our favourites. Overall, we had a great evening at Libertine's and we'll definitely return to try more items from the menu.

I recently dined at libertine, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, setting the perfect mood for a special evening. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food satisfied the expectations and was excellent portions for the price. i recommend visiting on Tuesdays as it has a 7 course meal deal for only $49!

Love the set menus, it’s like a surprise packages, delicious foods just come out without you sort of knowing exactly what you’re going get. Service is fantastic, our wait staff were friendly and cracked a bit jokes with us.

Went here for our anniversary which is on Valentine’s Day, so we went with the set menu. We were given a booth was a tucked away for some privacy which was lovely. The food was delicious & cocktails divine! Service was a bit slow as it got busier through the night, but the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant set up and decor is beautiful and nicely lit. Cuisine is French Vietnamese.

Treated like absolute royalty for my mother’s birthday dinner, delicious and very tender chicken and pork mains, warm and attentive service and very impressive decor. Wonderful experience and I would recommend this to a friend, the banquet option had not a single disappointing meal and it was great value for an impeccable dining experience! Loved the French/Vietnamese theme as well and everything was just so elegant from start to finish.

I paid $25 for a pizza which was burnt and cold, pork belly was just chunks of fat and the pizza was dry, very disappointing as the place looked nice and staff friendly. Maybe an off night but at $25 a pizza you can’t have an off night.

came here to celebrate graduating and we got the banquet meal with seven courses - omd so good !! everything was really nice, they also do standard meals but I would say this is the most worthwhile thing to try here because you get to taste a bit of everything rather than one dish. I would say that seven courses is the better banquet option compared to the five or ten, we were all completely stuffed and still had some food leftover. flavours were ✨immaculate✨ and service was amazing, would 100% recommend !

Service and ambiance were highlights. Food portions appropriate for the style of dining (we were a large group that ordered the 5-course banquet) but spaced a little to far apart from one another, as in the time in between each course could have been shorter as most of the courses were one/two piece type dishes. Taste-wise, be open minded as its fusion asian - I would not take my 'I can make this better at home auntie or mom' but save it for good night out for friends/special occasion.

It's not like we've ever had a bad experience at Libertine and we've been coming since you opened. It is always lovely but Wednesday night we attended our first theme night, A Night in Normandy. Having missed the Saigon night we were very keen. Not only were we afforded a beautiful meal, but it represented excellent value. The courses fitted well with each other, and the quality was amazing. More food than we could comfortably eat but we gave it a red hot go. Fantastic! Definitely looking forward to next time.

Delicious meal, but very, very small portions for the price. Paid $35 for four (amazing) mouthfuls of pork belly and no real substantial sides (half a beautifully poached pear, about a tablespoon of pureed pumpkin and some charred greens). It would be more of an appropriate size for an entree. We would recommend the pizzas though - they were great and a very decent sized portion for the price ($25). For a small restaurant, it was very noisy. My partner and I found ourselves struggling to hear eachother across the table. Perhaps some floor rugs or soundproofing on the ceiling might absorb some of the noise? The wait staff were helpful and attentive, and the food quality was excellent. Aside from the disappointing portion size we really enjoyed the night. I'd just recommend ordering an entree if you wish to leave sated.

Went for a vegetarian banquet experience. We weren't disappointed. We had a 7 course vegetarian. Struggled to finish it by the end. But each and every dish was wonderful. The sauces, salads, crepe etc.. Everything was wonderful. Ambience is nice and romantic. Ideal for a date. The service by Kevin was wonderful from start to finish. Very professional, polite and accommodated all our requirements, legend! Loved the experience and would definitely want to do it again.

There's a reason Libertine has been around for so long. The food and service is consistently good. I love feed me/banquet style places because I love trying lots of different foods and Libertine doesn't disappoint. I wish they'd change their menu a little more frequently though, so I return more frequently to try other food.

What a delightful find. Went here with a group of mothers for a night out. Amazing cocktails. Delicious food. Flavours were fresh. We shared a number of dishes but there were options for various prices banquets available. The staff were attentive and informative. A really enjoyable experience. Parking is available underneath for a fee, if you book online you save quite a bit so would recommend doing this. Definitely will be returning.

We settled for the Libertine Long Lunch which was a 4 course set menu. Regret not going off the a la carte menu. Would have wanted to try some other dishes. Loved the tiger prawn croissant. The dessert platter and the chocolate fondant was the highlight for me, which was not part of the long lunch menu.

Devine Banquet Last night I was joined by 11 amazing friends to sample everything this beautiful restaurant has to offer and boy, did it offer! Incredible food, expertly prepared and perfectly delivered. The conversation flowed as did the drinks and the food, which just kept coming. Such an amazing restaurant. The food is gorgeous, the drinks are good and the atmosphere is lovely. I’ve sat inside and out and enjoyed both. The staff are knowledgeable and great. If I had any issues or wanted something extra they were only happy to help and did what they could even during these COVID times. Will visit again and again.

Was there on NYE and had a great time. The style of the place and the decor is well thought and polished, giving a very nice and sophisticated atmosphere. Food was excellent, a good fusion of french and vietnamese style. We very much appreciated the relaxed approach, it makes it easier to share plates and taste a lot of different stuff. Service was on par with the rest of the experience, polite and reliable. We'd definitely like to come back.

Bit of a wait to be seated at the start of the night. Taken care of later by a wonderful waitress that made our date night memorable. Highly recommend the salads and crispy pork, chat potatoes on point also. Stay well away from the Viet Old fashioned cocktails, you’ll want few more after the first glass lol it’ll get messy real fast!!

Came here for Friday night dinner. The service was good and the place has a nice ambience. We ordered an array of food, all of which was tasty. The favourite was the egg rolls though (which seem to be.... spring rolls??) The lettuce and the coriander sauce combined with the rolls were really good.

The restaurant whose cuisine combines French and Vietnamese influences. The food was excellent. There is a great covered terrace and a bar for those who just want a drink. Plates are relatively small as it is a gastro restaurant. It is great for sharing. The terasse is amazing. Highly recommend.

Absolutely divine. Their banquets are amazing, with so many different flavours on offer. The staff will ask if you have any food allergies or similar, and will do their best to accommodate you. The french-vietnamese fusion is fabulous, and it is sublimely finished with a delicious créme brulée for dessert.

From start to finish our visit was unforgettable. We went for a special anniversary and had our first ever 10 course degustation. Every dish was perfect, tasty and the portion sizes were substantial. The staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Food was amazing but sadly they stuffed up our bill and it left a sour taste in what was a great experience.

Great service! The fried chicken entree was quite average. It didn’t have any Vietnamese influence whatsoever (although the name claimed so) with a not very exciting mayo based sauce on the side and the ‘tiger prawn croissant’ is a good idea but not the best execution, plus there were definitely not King prawns in it. Great Yellow curry! with real King Prawns and the dessert platter is the way to go. Will definitely be back to keep exploring the menu.

Great foodie restaurant in the Clayfield neighborhood of Brisbane. Brothers Dane and Morgan serve up modern Australian fare with a Mediterranean twist. We split one of their artisan leaf salads and we each selected our own personal-size pizza. Jackson, our server, recommend a nice red wine that we loved. If we lived in Brisbane this would definitely be one of our go to places. Helpful Hint: Check out the restaurant for weekly specials and special events.

On point, everything, absolutely wonderful. The food and wine, the service (Sam hats off to you!), and the music (Calum thank you for the atmosphere). Capriccio entre, flank steak main, and burnt butter pumpkin pie with unique candied sage leaves for desert all paired with a wonderful Shiraz - made for a wonderful night :-).

This has always been the place my family goes for good service and wide variety. My mom's favorite place to go when she come to town.

First of all, the front of house staff at Wooden Horse are always fantastic. Friendly and efficient and all that good stuff, but also always ready to chat about the menu and recommend favourite drinks. They set the warm atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The food never fails to impress. This time our table enjoyed steak, chicken, ravioli and some delectable desserts (that lemon merengue is to die for.) Everything was sensational. The owners and chefs, two brothers, clearly have such a passion and knowledge for food, it absolutely shines through every part of the dining experience. One of our favourite places to dine in Brissy.

Been to this place a bunch of times now and cannot overstate how good it is. The food is absolutely phenomenal, whether it's one of the 5, 7, or 10 course banquets, or even just ordering off the menu. Then there's the extensive beverage list to choose from that has everything you need while dining. I personally recommend any of the Libertine classic cocktails. Even the staff are extremely professional but friendly and helpful at all times. Amazing place and will continue to go back again and again.

We regularly do date night and our first experience here did not disappoint. The whole night was awesome! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We had the Banquet which exceeded our expectations. The Food is Asian with a French twist - just delicious. The only improvement I would suggest is to get a larger table for the banquet to spread out a little however we will most definitely be back!

My wife and I came here for a romantic dinner and it did not disappoint! We noted that we wanted romantic seating, and we got seated in a cozy little alcove. The lighting was low and on-point, and the staff were attentive (at the right times) and friendly. We ordered the 7-course banquet, and it was exquisite. The Vietnamese French fusion flavours completed each other perfectly. We especially enjoyed the lamb dumplings, and the chicken stir fry. The combination of flavours in the chicken & Brie stir fry was to die for. If you’re not on a budget and looking for a nice, romantic dinner, Libertine is a spot you have to try.

The perfect mix of fine dining, inviting atmosphere, and excellent portions. Fusion cuisine at its best, and the restaurant clearly knows and crafts its menu expertly. The long lunch for $39 per person is exceptional value for money-- the pickled watermelon with the pork belly is a perfect combination and a perennial favourite. The range of drinks has something for everyone and staff have excellent recommendations if you aren't sure or want to try something new. A great venue for dates, casual get togethers, family or work events, and manages to straddle the line between pleasing for gourmands and approachable for new or less adventurous palates.

Yet again we had a superb meal at Libertine’s, delicious food, every dish of the seven courses was Devine. I love the way all sauces are served in a small jug on the side. The service was exceptional as usual. This has to be the best restaurant in Brisbane, certainly my favourite.

I had booked in for a special occasion and had heard lovely things about Libertine and was really looking forward to going there. The food was delicious but the customer service could definitely do with some improvement. The aircon was turned off at our table area and we had to request a few times for it to be turned back on. We felt rushed into ordering and it seemed like the staff wanted to wind things up for us. We got a bottle of wine which we had to help ourselves with for a top up every now and then and it was placed on the side, a little out of our reach. Couldn't fault the food. Shame the staff attitude couldn't match it. It was disappointing. Would not recommend for a special occasion.

Outstanding. My husband and I went here for dinner for our wedding anniversary. We were seated in a cosy corner. Romantic ambience, amazing food, imaginative flavours, great wine, good service. Don't know what more you could ask for. If you have room, don't miss the banana beignets with coconut ice cream. Yum yum. Thanks for a special evening for us.

My partner and I went to Libertine for the first time recently to celebrate a birthday. We went for lunch and had the 7 course banquet and a selection of cocktails. The dining room was charming, the service was warm, and the food and drinks were to die for. The lamb dumplings, the salad, and the chicken were our favourite items from the banquet. At $65pp it proved to be good value for money compared to banquets/set courses at other restaurants. The moody decor made it a great spot for a romantic lunch.

Came on a fairly busy Mother's day night so it wasn't too unexpected that most of the staff were quite occupied and a bit over it, but the 2-3 min wait to be tended to when we arrived felt far too long and we felt a bit unwelcomed. In brief, the food was generally of acceptable quality, with some like the magic mushroom dish (not pictured) and the duck pancakes a bit disappointing. Was expecting quite a bit more from dishes at this price point. The cocktails on the other hand were very nice, and the service became better through the night as it got less busy. If the service and quality/taste of food happen to be improved on ordinary nights I might consider coming back but otherwise, I would opt for something else.

The best restaurant we have ever been to. We had the 9 course banquet and every dish was just magic. Beautiful balance of flavours. The grilled prawns with tom yum butter was the stand out dish for us, but every dish was wonderful. Beautiful food. Generous serving sizes, we were so full! Warm and relaxed environment, attentive service and excellent cocktails. Highly recommended! We will be back.

Good, not great... Service was fine, nothing to rave on about. Food was pretty tasty, can't fault them here. Sour taste in our mouth was more about the value/cost. I have to compare them to other restaurants with the same prices (we paid $420 for 4 of us on a Tuesday night - and this was the discounted banquet night...). After a couple of beers, we decided to get 2 carafes of wine instead of bottles as 2 of us wanted white and 2 wanted red but we didn't want full bottles. We assumed based on the price that a carafe would be more than 2 glasses worth (it wasn't). When the glass of wine is $16 and the carafe is $46 and I only get 2 glasses from the carafe, you start to question what's going on... I'm sure they will say that the carafe is more than 2 glasses but I can assure you it was very likely a 375ml carafe and a standard glass is 175ml so the maths doesn't add up... Seems trivial but I was pretty annoyed at the time. Probably won't be back - I've had better food, drinks and service for the same price in many other Brisbane establishments.

We have been having staff Christmas party at Libertine for the last few years and reconnected families and friends to the restaurant it has always been an amazing experience and everyone has always had a great time with amazing food and drinks. Unfortunately it seems things have changed now. Won’t be back

Not impressed. Here for my husband's work Xmas party. Food was very hit and miss. Some fabulous, some very average. It took 2 and a half hours to get out mains. They're very big on sharing here and put 3 serves on two plates for entrees. So people missed out on entrees cause we thought it was two serves. Mains came out at different time so half our party ate cold food. One whole side order, 4 serves was missed completely! They did do the right thing and gave us our food and a couple of drinks for free, so some rebound at least but if you're out to impress I wouldn't come here. We also sweated through most of the night. Very hot when the place is full.
