Ordered the hummus plate and chicken burrito to share between two people to experience both meals. Started with hummus which was the best vegetarian meal I've had so I was reluctant to switch to the burrito. But once I had the burrito, it was like a party in my mouth and everyone was invited. The hummus was certainly delicious, but I quickly forgot about it and never looked back after having that burrito. I take the burrito business seriously and after living in Europe for 6 years always on the lookout for good burritos, I can say with authority this was the best burrito in all of Europe. Incredibly friendly staff including a very nice Latino team from Argentina, Mexico, and Peru that were lovely to talk to. Nice craft beer to boot.

We decided to try Fig based on a review we read online from Two Bohemians and it was absolutely incredible! We were blown away by the quality of food and drinks and the place itself has a really cool atmosphere. We sat outside but it's still in an enclosed area so it had a neat vibe. We had the chicken burrito and the smoked lentils. Both were so delicious. We liked it so much that we'll be going back again tomorrow to do it all over again. I highly recommend trying the Plitvice Margarita as well - so good!

You can not book a table in advance which might make things difficult for some, although we got a table 5 minutes after we arrived. The chicken korma was very bland and did not taste much. The root vegetables with hummus, and the fig and farm cheese on the other hand was excellent. It was full and rich in flavour and was very well prepared.

Very misleading rating for this restaurant. We saw the good reviews and long line up so decided to give it a try. We were very disappointed in the quality of the service and the taste of the food. We had the soup of the day which was a cold tomato soup, pull pork, burrito, and flatbread. The soup was the best part of the meal because everything else was drenched in sauce and completely bland. There was no taste to the food except heavy salty sauce. Although food presentation looked decent, the taste does not match the look. We were very disappointed and very underwhelmed.

Phenomenal experience. The food was outstanding and the waitress spoke excellent English, which is a nice treat when traveling. I 100% recommend the Spicy Egg for breakfast (I could not find any breakfast restaurant in Split and even this one opens at 10am). I didn’t read the description of the California Toast and assumed it was only toast & avocado…so I was a bit embarrassed that I ordered both since it came with 2 eggs, guacamole, tomato & toast. Wasn’t as good as the Spicy Egg, in my opinion but still good! Come early…6 tables were taken at 10am and a line was forming by 10:30.

Nice place to have lunch in the center of Split. Surprisingly small menu. We ordered the chicken korma and the chicken burrito. The burrito was nicely filled with beans and pulled chicken. I ordered Berry Me Marry Me, cute name for a drink that packs a punch! It too was delicious. Apart from the stand out dishes, the staff were superb. They’re very professional and attentive and warm. Couldn’t have asked for a better last meal while in Split. So for those reading this and thinking of where to eat, think no more, this is a no-brainer choice. Everyone loved the meals here! We stopped by for breakfast. The golden latte was amazing! The option to add Bacon to every meal was a great option, seeing as the menu is very vegan friendly.

Such a charming place to dine after exploring Split. The location is beautiful. Just inside the narrow alleyways of the city center. They serve quite decent food, I was satisfied with what I ordered because their BBQ Burger had a vegetarian option and the rest of their menu is quite appealing for someone who is vegetarian/ pescatarian.

Great location, nice staff, good food, tap water option… what else is there to say? I found the spicy eggs nicely poached but the use of paprika was quite heavy. The sauce filled the dish so the flat bread got soggy. The coffee was nice but the flat white was more of a coffee latte as it had foam. The second had less foam when I said no foam. This place is open all day so I suggest coming at odd hours.

Fig must be on your list - great international fusion food. We tried the Chicken and Vegetable Korma and the Fig/walnut and farm cheese flatbread. Both were very flavorful and delicious. The flatbread presentation was good. The korma was delicious and had authentic Indian flavors. The cook from the other Indian restaurant in old city should probably learn from Fig's chef on how to prepare good and flavorful Indian food. The only reason I give this place a 4 star is because they were out of two of the three dishes we tried to order - the vegetarian burger and the beet and yogurt salad. We visited this place around 1pm afternoon for lunch, the very friendly and helpful staff immediately made arrangements for a table but we were disappointed to learn that they were sold out of the dishes we wanted to try (the dishes displayed in their menu on the street that pulled us into this place in the first place). The prices are higher than most other places around but overall, the food was very good and I highly recommend this place for good international fusion food.

Highly recommend Fig. We came for breakfast and waited for about 20 minutes. Service was very quick, nice coffee and lovely food. We sat inside due to rain but the outdoor terrace looked stunning.

Beautiful Location, came because of the good reviews. Unfortunately the Food was pretty average. We ordered two of the salads and the sweet potato fries. The sauce of the fries was really nice, the fries themselves were soggy and not crispy at all. The salads felt more like a side dish not like a main course. Service was alright. Quality of the food does not justify the higher prices in our opinion. Still they had lots of veggie options which is nice.

We loved this place! Went there for breakfast and the food was amazing, the service was great, and we loved the restaurant inside the city walls. I hand the green eggs and my friend the spicy ones. I definitely recommend. Best part: the staff was so kind!

We had a really nice time at Fig, and we enjoyed our dinner very much. As many other restaurants in Split, Fig has also a very nice terrace in a small alley right in the middle of the old town. It's located just a few steps away from Diocletian's Palace, and has a very charming setting. We came there right before "dinner rush hour", and just half an hour after we sat on our table, there was a huge waiting line outside.😅 The food was very good and we would definitely come again!

I just stumbled upon this place when I was staying in Split. The food is great, good option for vegetarians. It's nestled inside the Palace. Good ambience, like ancient meets modern vibes. Yes, you must eat here! They take credit cards.

Gestern Abend, mitten in der Altstadt das Restaurant Fig, geführt von lässigen jungen Leuten in Freizeitkleidung, denen aber Service kein Fremdwort war. Idyllisch in einem Innenhof gelegen, ein Juwel. Feine orientalisch angehauchte Speisen. Sehr lecker... Auch vegetarische Gerichte.

Amazing! We walked past while visiting the city and peaked in because it was cute. Then came back when we saw it had a 4.7 on google. The owner is amazing from CA, which was reflected in the menu. They were still serving the breakfast menu when we arrived, which was perfect after seeing the amazing choices. Many vegetarian options, which has been lacking in Croatia. The outside seating is peaceful and away from the tourists. The restaurant was busy, but you didn’t feel it. We were checked in on many times, everyone was so nice and talkative. Leaving Fig just put me in a great mood for the rest of day. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

The service was excellent and the food was really really good! The sweet potato fries were delicious and inventive, I would recommend getting them and sharing since the taste is pretty intense to eat all of it alone. The blueberry jalapeno burger was pretty good but I didn't actually taste the jalapenos. The tomato and onion jam flatbread was amazing, just try it. The iced coffee was also good. The prices did seem a bit high to me but the portions are big. And I was wowed by the service and how helpful they were with us and our toddler.
