Just a beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. We sat in the restaurant, the food was great, we really enjoyed it. The prices are fine, considering that the tourist season is underway. I warmly recommend it to everyone.

Great location, easy walk to Diocletian’s Palace. Beautiful rooms. Clean and quiet. And the staff really went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and started the day with a healthy, delicious breakfast. They went out of their way to accommodate my gluten-free diet. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

We were delighted by this hotel from the moment we were welcomed as our taxi pulled away. Great service and introduction to the city, lovely rooms, very quiet and comfy, amazing bathroom and a good choice at breakfast. As others have commented the service is really friendly and the location is perfect

Just WOW! I have seen my share of hotels in my life. But the service in this hotel tops them all!! Very very friendly staff, very personal and really ‘at your service’. We had a great time and felt very welcome! The hotel is also good. Nice room and perfect location to visit all the beautiful sights in Split. I can 100% recommend this hotel. Also a great parking service. Loved it! Thank you guyz!

Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They helped us find a place to park and arrange a taxi to the airport. The hotel is a very short walk to downtown Old Split, but there is a restaurant on the bottom floor if you show up hungry. Highly recommend. I will stay here if I come back to Split!

Very nice authentic hotel. Well situated and more than this incredibly professional and friendly management and service. You will feel home. And any question you have the staff will support you with the best available answer/solution. The rooms are a bit small but the building is classical architecture and it is worth it.

My husband and myself visited the bar at this hotel on 26/8 and unfortunately didn't have a great experience. We asked the server if we could order drinks he didn't reply then walked away. He returned a short time later and threw two menus on the table and walked off again. The drinks were served which we said thankyou for. When we asked the same man for the bill he came back and just said ' eleven" no please, thankyou or anything. We found his attitude and customer service appalling.

Lovely little hotel within easy walking distance from the main port. Staff were amazingly helpful and the rooms were spotless. They organised a very early taxi for me to go to the airport, and even offered to prepare a packed breakfast if I wanted it.

We weren’t staying here but it’s a nice place to come and have a bite to eat. Little walk from the main harbour and not so busy.

Very comfortable hotel just beside old town in Split. Location is perfect for walking to the beach or into the centre. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Didn't stay, but ate at the restaurant twice - once for lunch, and once for an early dinner. Service was excellent both times, and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Prices were good compared to other restaurants, and the food came quickly and was delicious. It's the best spot that we ate at while in Split.

Hotel Villa Diana was absolutely excellent - very clean rooms and amazing location (5 min walk from old town and 5 min walk to the beach). But the highlight was the customer service - the team were incredibly helpful- providing tips on things to do and places to see; ensuring our room was ready early; organising a replacement transfer when ours was cancelled last minute; and even doing our washing in their personal laundry! Great breakfast (and dinner!) too. Could not recommend more highly.

Summary: The hotel room is ant-infested (our bed had ants on it), bathroom reeks of sewage smell, and the hotel management is extremely poor (we got yelled at in public; hotel did not apologize once; there is no one at the front desk at any given time; they canceled our reservation without confirming with us). To top it off, the hotel was so vindictive of us asking to move hotels that we were not allowed to enter into the premise to even pick up our luggage once they gave us the refund. I travel frequently and know what to expect for three star hotels of this price range— please don’t stay here and ruin your vacation. Full story: I write this longer story as I have learned this hotel management is extremely vindictive and will likely respond to this review claiming this is our fault (I also used exact words of texts exchanged do that they can’t claim this is fake). We checked in at the hotel and went to grab some dinner. When we returned, we saw several ants on the bed and room and immediately called the hotel emergency number (as there was no one in the front desk- note: there is no one to help at the hotel in the evening). The hotel manager said she can’t do anything (not offering any help) and that she will check on it tmrw (she also told us that there is no room available for today when we asked to switch). That evening, instead of getting any help, we stayed up all night killing ants and could not get sleep. I was very tired and upset as we had seen great reviews for this place before booking: I texted the manager verbatim the following “We have found six of this (attached picture of dead ants) in the last hour including some on the bed. Would like to discuss tmrw if you could move us to a new room (or get us a refund so we can move hotels) as we are staying up trying to kill the bugs in our room instead of being able to rest in our room.” We finally went to sleep and found a text next morning saying that “you can check out at 9am without payment.” We had a tour leaving at 8am and did not have time to switch hotels before so decided to go down to see if they could clean the room instead and give us commensurate compensation (such as partial refund for the evening we had to stay up killing the ants). We then learned (manager still not to be seen) that the manager had canceled our reservation unilaterally without seeking any confirmation. We were confused and surprised by this and asked if we could speak to her. She finally arrived at work and then proceeded to yell at us in public (in front of other guests) saying that we cannot stay and she had already canceled our reservation. I told her multiple times not to yell at us and that we felt like she is kicking us out of the hotel without seeking confirmation from us but she wouldn’t calm down. We were running late for our tour and temporarily left our luggage in our friend’s room (whom they refused to let us cancel the reservation for requiring we split up). When we came back to pick up our luggage, they refused to let us into the building. Their vindictive attitude made me scared and threatened. I never write bad reviews as I understand the local economy is tough with COVID and I want to support local establishments. In this case, however, the complete lack of regard for guests (threatening attitude) as well as the ant infestation motivated me to write this cautionary review for future travelers. This hotel definitely ruined my day at beautiful Split and I wouldn’t wish that for anyone else.

This is a small charming hotel in heart of split with kind and helpful staff. There is a good restaurant downstairs which belongs to the hotel. Rooms are very clean, quiet and well equipped.

We spent two nights in Villa Diana at the end of our wonderful trip to Croatia. This property was not only amazing, clean, beautiful, and centrally located but the staff we're simply amazing.

Great experience! Food was delicious with good-sized portions, service was really friendly and fast, and it's located within walking distance of the old city, but far enough away its not loud, busy, or overpriced, went twice on my own visit to the city, I thought it was great!

😠 DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
