We booked almost one month in advance. Check-in was supposed to be until 10pm, we arrived there at 9pm. First problem, it is almost impossible to park there. When we arrived, we tried to call her several times so we could get the key, but she didn't pick up the phone, nor answered the email. Booking was made through Booking.com. Terrible management from them as well. At 9.30pm we called Booking to explain them the problem (we were still on time for check-in). They didn't manage to reach her on the phone and asked us to find another hotel. We stayed with them on the phone until 2.30am, and the only thing they did was to tell us that they couldn't find anything. Everything was sold out in Split and Booking didn't manage to find an accommodation for us, so we had to sleep in a park. Not the best experience as you can imagine.

If it says Luxury in the name don't get confused. It's small and the ac leaked. The service was 5 star so be open it's not all about the room.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The host doesnt respect the agreed check-in times. They just make you wait outside without any notice, do not pick up the phone and arrive whenever they feel like it without even apologising about the situation - as if nothing happened.

We reserved 3 weeks before our arrived. On the website we have to call her 24h before to make an appointment for the key ...So when we call her the first time she tell us that she will call me back in 10 min and never did it. So i try to call her back but without response. I send her a lot of messages on WhatsApp she saw them and didnā€™t answer again (like you can see on the screen) So my friend call her she answer and yell ā€œSTOP CALLING MEā€ and she hang up the phone. So i make an anonymous call and she answer and she explain me that the apartment that we book wasn't available after 4h trying to contact her. She refuse to cancel the reservation to have our money back. Because of her we couldn't take our flight to split and we have to cancel our vacation. We loose our money the day before our flight she was very rude and unsympathetic

Don't book here if you don't want some unforeseen surprises. Got called by the owner an hour before arrival that something in the bathroom was broken, but I could not verify that so it could be possible that the place was overbooked as well (there was a high demand in apartments that time). I was reassured that everything was already figured out for me and I got a new and even better place not far away from this location. The owner would even cover the extra costs. BUT... not very far away meant 2.4km outside the city center, which equals to a half an hour walk one direction. The place was definitely worse and not even equal compared to the photos of the la perla apartments. The guy who took me to the place successfully convinced me that there where no other places available and I should be glad that I have this one. (if you are in the same situation take your time and check if you can find another place) He wanted to know how much I was paying for the other place and urged me to pay upfront and in cash. This was a mistake because now I could not prove to booking.com that there was a transaction and therefore I could not rate the place on booking.com... so writing this review here was the only way to warn others before they have to undergo the same experience.

This was an absolutely disappointingly terrible stay for such a beautiful city. We had a great amount of difficulty reaching someone for check in. After we arrived, we heard a good deal of noise from some upstairs neighbors who seemed to be locals and possibly doing something criminal. We heard a blood curdling scream/shriek at about 3 am one night and called the police. We thought someone upstairs had been attacked. But nope! Just some people messing with us. The neighbors lied to the police and blamed all of the noise on us; worse yet, the owner sided with the locals and told us to ā€œsettle down and be quiet.ā€ Not only did we feel fundamentally unsafe, we were scolded like children for something we didnā€™t do. The toilet seat from the review about a year ago? Guess what, still broken. No cleaning service even with a $40 deposit; just two towels replaced. Stay far away! Many better deals nearby.

Nice place, with good price. Really good for couple of nights. Its really close to City centre and also there is nearby parking place. Apartmant was small but enough, and check in process was really easy.

šŸ˜  DO NOT STAY HERE. As soon as I walked into my hotel room I got on my phone and tried to find an alternate hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Says its a 4 star hotel but should be a 2 star. Walked into my room and there were stains all over the carpet- very very dirty. Requested...
