Situated near to dal lake. The rooms are good they usually charge around ₹1800. But if you go online you can get the rooms available for a cheeper price. Wash room was clean, only a soap was provided as toiletries. The room was clean and tidy also a TV was there on the room. My final verdict: Room not worth enough for ₹1800

I would say this is the worst hotel of my life. So we stayed here last year. When we went inside the toilet there are so many hair there and the drain has lots of water stuck. The room is okay, it has a balcony. The bedsheet has lots of hair as well as the pillows like they did not change it. The sink also doesn’t drain that we have to take the mug and throw the water in the toilet sink. It’s just the worst experience. ‼️

Room and bathroom size is good as per value. Bathroom not 100% clean. Room inside electrical light is not enough, only 1 light was there. Main issue is owner. One of the owner is quite aged and his behavior is rude. Except this problem, it's a recommended hotel near dal lake.

Good hotel with good service. In my opinion the rooms are not worth INR 1600 maybe. What can be improved: 1. Geyser, not very effective 2. Room cleaning, we stayed for 3 days not once it was cleaned. 3. The owner's son can consider the customer's privacy, before barging into the room to talk. Family members, especially female ones may not be comfortable with that. 4. Location on the maps is not correct. Call them on the phone number listed on Google for correct location. What is good: 1. Location, near Dal Lake Ghat 2 2. The owner and his son are helpful in finding good deals for travelling. 3. Good security, as there's a main gate covering the alley. 4. Homely feeling. 5. They take care of customised requirements.

The positive thing of the hotel was behaviour of the hotel crew. They were very polite 😉 and helping we reached there around 10.30 pm and the two rooms are available as per our booking. But the two rooms are on two floors but the owner himself persuaded and vacated one adjacent room on same floor. There is no food facility in the hotel but they arranged dinner from outside however it was not up to mark. The problem is with the online booking portals as they shown and mentioned wrong location of the property it is in a street and far from Dal lake but they mentioned and shown it at one side of the lake.

Fabulous location, walking distance to dal lake Superb hospitality One cannot find a better place to stay in Srinagar. This property is in true sense The Gulistan Overlooking the Dal lake, An ever smiling staff ( Mr Zoor ensures a comfortable stay for the guests. The hotel staff is polite and fast responsive . It certainly was one of our most memorable experiences in domestic travel. If one needs to rejuvenate then this property is highly recommended.

Very humble, polite and supportive owner along with the staff's. They guide you and even help for your transport arrangements to visit places. If you don't need GST bills and traveling on your own, one of best places to stay. All visiting and tour places are in near proximity.

This is a very nice place to stay near the Dal Lake. The people are very good.. There are a few places to eat near by.. We came for the Amarnath Yatara.. Had a great stay at this place.. Booked via Agoda.

I stayed in this hotel for my 2nd trip as well. The staff and the owner of this hotel are amazing people . They are very hospitable and courteous. What I really like about staying at Hotel Gulistan is that it's near the Dal Lake (200 meters away- 5 minute walk) and there are lots of good food options around the hotel. They even provide you home-cooked food if you ask for special services. They legit make you feel like home. Plus it's super safe for solo or family trip since it's a home-based hotel . I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for your trip.

The hotel Gulistan is really nice place to stay. The staff was very friendly, cooperative, and very helpful and kind.  Easy check in. Lots of parking. The hotel is tastefully designed for comfortable and affordable stay. Value for money, Great stay! Amazing service, awesome room facilities and clean rooms and truely safe. Loved staying here. My favourite hotel for sure. I would always like myself and also recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.

Worst service, no manners to staff, no hot water, no dustbin, very unhygienic, very bad view from window, very bad approach road to this hotel. This is last weeks experience of my stay

Not good hotel at all . Services were very bad. All staff members were also very bad . They don't have manners at all. My experience is very bad from this hotel. Bathroom were very dirty. Rooms were too small.

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in May. First thing first it's not a hotel but more of a homestay and a bad one on that. I am not saying nobody should stay here but it definitely does not deserve anymore than 700-1000 Rs per night. Room did not have any view whatsoever and had a wierd intermingling smell of old furniture and seepage. Photos and reviews are fabricated to pass it as a decent hotel. Located in the dark alleyway near dal lake gate no. 2. Owner and staff were pleasent and that was the only good thing about the property. As a travellers we definitely deserve a proper and true rating and ranking agency in our country so that people can make informed choices on real facts of the property rather than getting scammed by false photos and reviews.
