They don't care about your time. Service is expensive but ok. However, even if you had scheduled a time, that won't matter. Schedule at 9 AM, got there on time, took almost 2 hours to swap the tires. Service itself took 30 min, but they took more than an hour to start working on my car. Worse of all, they do not acknowledge they are wrong. Customer service just said "yeah, it's busy this time of the year...". If you're overscheduling, that's not your customers problem. Not coming back, waste of time.

Hands down the best Tire shop in St.Catharines. They have been around for a long time and are always reliable. Every so often i have gone to other shops and have not received nearly the quality service i receive during every visit to this Niagara Battery & Tire location. Please make an appointment, they are busy. I have seen them look after so many walk-in appointments with exceptional service even during the busiest of days. You can expect quality service at a fair price.

Good place for tire repairs and tires, they fixed a flat under warranty and the service was straight forward. Staff was professional.

Brought my car in for an alignment. When I picked it up, it had more problems than when I had originally dropped it off. It was not safe to drive. I was quoted over $2000 to fix it. Niagara Battery and Tire failed to explain what was causing the problem. They also wanted to replace my struts which had just been done within the last few years. Took it to a different shop with more experienced mechanics and they were able to thoroughly explain what was causing the problem. What would've cost me over $2000 at NBAT, only cost me $650 at a different shop. This is not the first time NBAT has let us down. AVOID this place at all costs! Edit to respond to owner: Hello, That timeline is not correct. I actually received the refund for the invoice on Saturday after my vehicle was unsafe to drive, and your staff did not know what was wrong with it. I had to go the whole weekend without a car because they had asked me to bring it back on Monday for another inspection. I was then quoted an inflated number and decided to pick my car up and take it elsewhere. There was nothing wrong with the struts. It appears as though your employees lie to you as well as their customers.

Easily the best customer service I've received in a long time! Started from the moment I walked in the door when I was greeted by Arnold, very friendly and professional. I was looking to get KO2s installed on my truck and Arnold gave me his personal cell number so I could text him the tire size when I got home to make sure he could secure them for me. The very next morning I receive a text back from Arnold saying the truck can come in and get the new tires. Arnold even sent me a picture of the truck afterwards which made me that much more excited to come pick it up. Thank you Arnold & the Niagara Battery & Tire Team on Hartzel Road! The excellent customer service did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

(St.Catharines) Called this morning to ask about availability to fix a slow-puncture (nail in tire), Given clear communication that there was space if I arrived promptly. Arrived, politely greeted and asked about the issue I had with my vehicle. Give the thumbs up that it could be addressed straight away. 20 minutes later the issues had been resolved, and I was on my way. Price very competitive, and the service extremely fast. Would recommend choosing this particular location.

Needed my winter tires put on and I've been having a hard time getting in anywhere. My wife is pregnant and due in a week or so and I asked if they could squeeze me in and he told me no he couldn't do anything. Customer service is important. Everyone is going through a tough time. Squeezing me in would have cost him nothing. Instead, he opted out to not help his customers. Business lost my friend.

Customer service and care here is exceptional. From helping me order rims and tires, seasonal storage and replacement they excel. They took extra steps to help and based on how they treat other customers while I was waiting in the waiting room I know it was not a unique experience for me. Pricing was also very competitive. I am an extremely happy customer

Called regarding a nail in my daughters tire. I was greeted promptly (with a smile) and a very professionally gentleman. We discussed the concern and I was taken care of. My tire was repaired within 20 minutes and returned to the trunk of my car (it took me to grab a coffee!). What an excellent experience and I will have it say it is one of the best customer care places I have ever been to! Keep up the excellent work and thank you for everything you do! I definitely will not be going anywhere else for my car needs.

I was very impressed by the professionalism, kindness, and team work displayed at this location. I needed help with my tires, and key fob and Mark had no hesitation helping Me. I had my three small children with me, which makes things a bit more difficult, but Mark had extreme patience with them, and he fixed the problem I was having with my vehicle! Being a women, I often feel intimidated walking into a mechanic shop but Not here! This will be the only place I will be dealing with from now on! Thanks Mark, and great staff!

This is the best place I've ever taken my car for tires. The patience of Dean on the counter to find me tires in an emergency and the mechanic dealing with the Terrain was outstanding. Taking my cars here for everything from now on.!!!

I will always and only ever go to Niagara battery and tire for, well...my batteries and tires! Super friendly and fast service. They know what they're doing here. Most importantly, I trust them. They have never tried to sell me on something which I respect. Recently went in for a tire patch. Took 15 minutes IF THAT, And was $33 after tax. Incredible. Thanks so much for an efficient visit this morning replacing tires on my camper. I had some additional questions about the tow hitch and even though the person working on my car wasn’t sure- he went and found someone more experienced in towing. Much appreciated and great work! Easy & fast tire order for my Veloster. Good price. VERY busy & took over an hour + for installation. Tires look good

Called and inquired about some tires and gave them the tire size. Chose ones I was interested in getting and was told the next day they should be in. Next day turned into next week then the week after. 3 weeks later I get tires put on only to immediately notice that they were a different size than was on previously and obviously not what I asked for. Guy tried to tell me they’d be safe. Not the point, first they are a different size therefore according to the size calculation they were the furthest from the original size on the chart. Refused to want to pay to have my computer reprogrammed to recognize the difference in size and had them put my old tires back on. Long story short, I’ll absolutely never buy tires here again. Welland, ON. Waste of an entire morning and almost a month of waiting to get them in.

Took them over and hour to complete a SCHEDULED oil change. 3 people that walked in AFTER me (one without an appointment) got their service completed before my oil change. Oil changes, especially when scheduled, shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. Would've done it myself if I had a lift. Not worth the $80 for the amount of time it took.

Great prices staff and service open early before my work and was able to complete a tire change before I started ,fast service used tires as well as new imo best place in comparative to Welland or Niagara though they had reasonable prices for new they didn't carry much used tires if that was you are looking for but still had good prices and selections

I ordered Steel Wheels and Snow Tires a week ago, they came in on Friday , made an appointment for 10 am this morning. The service I received from Matt Andres was excellent. Highly recommend Niagara Battery and Tire

Went in for quote, they want $380 for a tire that sells at Canadian tire for $187. I said no thanks then he said I will see if I can do better, I said don't bother and left. Place has gone down hill. Wont ever go back.

They sold me a new battery and I had to get a boost 3 days later... complete RIP OFF! I went back to let them know my battery was not working and how could that be if it was new? The sales man said that it was normal and to just take my car for a drive twice a day? Sure that sounds like a used battery they sold me and said it was new. Never ever go there. They straight up rip you off!

I would not recommend going here. I went there to get slow leaks repaired on my car they said it was fixed but it wasnt a couple of my tires still had leaks. I went back a 2nd time and again they said they were fixed and they put on new valve stems but my tires still had leaks and I had issues with the new valve steams. Went back a 3rd time was told they were fixed expect front left might have had a slow leak. New valve stems again. The front left seemed okay after but then after a week my rear right tire went completely flat. Asked for a refund for what I paid as it caused me nothing but issues. Said I needed a letter from my mechanic for a refund. Got a letter that stated 3 valve stems were faulty but they only refunded me for 2 valve stems and a partial refund. Not sure why I wasnt refunded for 3 like the letter said or just a full refund. Felt like it should have been easy to get a full refund since I had nothing but issues. Not satisfied.

Best tire place in Niagara! Fast and quality service. The owner and employees alike are extremely personable and very helpful with any and all questions I had about my vehicle and the work done to it. I would recommend NBT to everyone if they wanted an enjoyable experience.
